The location is super. The location is also quite in a dead end road. Our room was big. The flair is chilly and nice.

The terrace right on our room is for everybody. The only windows to our room are from that terrace. If somebody else is using the terrace we had to close the curtains to have privacy, not that nice, it is not possible to have privacy. And also at nighttime it is disturbing if people sit on the terrace and you want to sleep. The bed inside and the chairs on the terrace are about 3 meter away. That was not clear to see on booking. If we would know in advance, we would not book this room. Also one staff was very nice, friendly and warm welcoming and the other one was a bit moody and annoyed of working in her job (seemed like it).

This is a great place! Feels like home, nice, clean, sunny! We were moved into different rooms first, and I gotta say, the King size room is fantastic. I really like the main lobby. There are two houses, first house is separate rooms, second house down the road is dorms + rooms. The first house looks more sunny, and you can have breakfast there. The breakfast options are nice - toasts, banana bread, juices, homemade jam, yoghurt, etc. But you always have an option to go to the store across the road to get snacks for breakfast, or buy from vendors down the road. They organise hot pot where you can meet other travellers, too.

I have been bitten by mosquitoes a lot :( Even though the staff tries to deal with them, there are some in the dorm rooms. Apart from that, I like everything!

Very nice host. Room was clean, soft comfy bed and pilows. Compared to the rich neighborhood, it's good value for money

Me and my wife stayed for one night at the Queen size bedroom in the house No. 2. The place was convenient in the means of the location and access. The staff was friendly and was not bothering the guests. There were two girls working there and both were nice and speak well in English. We reached there around 11.00 p.m. but the staff welcomed us and made the needed arrangements in the room reservation. The breakfast had two options mainly; Musli, some fruit pieces in it with hone made jam and yoghurt, and the other option was toasted bread, jam, with some fruits. Both the options included either a glass of fruit juice (orange and pineapple were the available at the time) or coffee. However, you can make coffee at any time with available coffee, creamer and the sugar in the kitchen area. Only I had the breakfast though we paid for breakfast for my wife and I both. Still you may book the room without the breakfast and you can order the breakfast for 100 bhat pp as it was noticed in the room. Our room had an electric kettle, so we could get the hotwater as we needed. There was a filled water container which we could drinking water at any time. There was also a refrigerator in the kitchen area, which we may use. I may recommend the place to anyone and the place was clean, even the private bathroom in the room was clean and equipped with a hot water shower, toilet papers, shampoo and body soap. But no toothpaste or toothbrushes. Towels were provided. The place was calm and quiet. The place had some places to stay calm and free. There are nearby 7-11 and some small restaurants to buy food. So, experienced a great convenience. Also, its just a walking distance to the Asok BTS. There was a nice nearby Italian type restaurant too "Fam Time", which offered some authentic pizzas with a chilling wibe. Overall it was a great place and loved the calm and quiet vibe there. Will be staying again when we visit Bangkok.

It would be great if the room would be some more spacious. But all the needy things were there, so it was not much a problem. The breakfast was served from 8.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. So, my wife could not have her since she had to leave the hotel around 8.00 a.m. Anyway that was not a big issue, we can understand the time schedules.

The room and the common areas (bathroom, breakfast room, ...) were super clean and nicely arranged. Staff was very nice and helpful. Great location in a calm street of Bangkok, metro just 10 min walk and great little restaurants in the surroundings. Breakfast was OK, 4 nights and we never tasted the Banana bread that was included though 😅 but that's fine.

The double bed room was rather small (8m2 I would guess) and there was a big window pointing on the reception hall so there was almost no daylight in the room and it can be quite loudy in the evening (music or running TV). You basically hear all the downstairs conversations...

I've had the pleasure of staying at Hostel16 in Bangkok for the second time, and it's become a real favorite of mine. Pond, the owner, and her friendly team, Eida and Fong, are not just welcoming; they're like old friends, always ready to help. Even though I booked the wrong room, the team managed to offer me another one, which was super kind and helpful. The room I had was just perfect. What's really great is that the hostel is so close to the BTS Asok station, making it easy to explore Bangkok. There's also a 24-hour food court nearby, so I never got hungry. Also, there are several Thai massage places right next door for some relaxation. Hostel16 is my go-to spot in Bangkok and I would definitely stay there again when I visit Bangkok.

My favorite place in bangkok, Friendly, kind, funny, helpful, and lovely staff. Nice music, chill vibes, delicious food, wonderful friends, cute cats. Comfy bed, clean and well maintained. Great location easy to get around in bangkok, short walk to Asok, I stayed for weeks, couldn't leave I just kept extending my stay. Had a such a amazing time, I recommended this hostel for all kinds of travelers. Can be social or private, many options available to satisfy your requests.

Very aesthetic hotel, the plants, the cats… creates such a nice place to hang. Most amazingly comfy bed been in Asia so far!! didn’t wanted to leave. use the hotel my last two days in Bangkok to rest, perfect choice. Nice place for massage close by. The shared bathroom was always so clean! Shower separated from toilet (nice). Breakfast really good.

The staff is amazing, but I feel they are overcharged with lots of work. They, somehow, still manage to take care of everything around.

Good location and simplicity of the facility. It was clean. Anyway you have a lot of 24/7 around and coffee shops around (one of them next door). There have self used londry services but it is better to go in nearby cleaning services.

Offer breakfast which is great but could be richer for the value of price and with more variety. It is a little boring when you planing to stay longer.

I have been to many hostels in Thailand, but I must say hands down this is the best. It's a welcoming and warm atmosphere right off the bat, and feels like a home away from home. There is a cute area to sit outside, with nice decor. It makes you feel like you're away from the hectic city. Still this location is right in the heart of Sukhumvit and you can reach the metro easily to get around. Shout out to Aida and Fong for the hospitality 💖
