Location is excellent, near to all the touristic places. It’s few minutes away also to Khao san road and Rambuttri alley for shopping and loads of restaurants to choose from. 7/11 convenient stores are also few mins away where we also buy liquors if we want to drink in our room + the ham and cheese sandwich is so good in 7/11. Hotel amenities and breakfast are very good. We liked the pool and our kids enjoyed the fish pond. Hotel room Room is a bit small and old but the service and staff are excellent so it’s not a big deal. We stayed here for 2 weeks and we’re happy with their service. They were fast if you need something or you have requests like cleaning the room.

Location was great, the pool was awesome, staff very friendly. room was functional, breakfast was tasty and you could order omelettes cooked by the chef.

The Hotel just needs a general clean up in the corridors on the way to the rooms.

Our first room had a broken shower head. The second room, the AC was super noisy. So they showed us 3 other rooms to choose from. They could not have been more helpful or understanding. Absolutely loved our stay here and the area. A little away from Khao San Road but still an easy walk. Heaps of food options close by in cosy restaurants and Street Food closer than Khao San Road so we were really happy to stay here. Shower was super hot any time of the day. Pool was clean and refreshing and they supply pool towels. Breakfast was good most days.

Breakfast Chef was slow to refill and spent too much time preparing food that was plentiful instead of checking what was actually needed on the buffet.

The bed was very comfortable.

The location can't be beat. The hotel is on a side street and about 100 meters away from the main alley making up the Kao San Rd. area. Walk out the hotel entrance, turn left, walk two minutes, and boom, you're there. And for the location, the hotel property is surprisingly quiet. Remember, you're on a side street, so no traffic noises, no touts. It's really quite peaceful.

The air conditioning, as others have said, is loud, but it didn't prevent me from sleeping. It's got an ambient quality to it. ... Unfortunately, the staff wouldn't let me check out late. Check out time was 11, and that's the time I had to be out. ... Also, about the location: although the Kao San Rd. area is happening and a great place for nightlife and street food, it's terrible for almost everything else. There are no supermarkets, shopping centers, modern drug stores, gyms, movie theaters, or anything else that inner cities normally have. There's simply nothing in every direction. It's a desert, really.

Having the pool was perfect and a real selling point for us. The staff were super easy going, friendly and helpful. We loved the location, very close to Khao San Road, temples, the river and buses to get around. Our room was lovely and comfortable and also had a balcony which was lovely. This was a lovely stay and I would recommend for anyone wanting a good balance between partying / exploring / chilling out.

Breakfast wasn’t the best but was a good added bonus to have when we wanted it. Would also be great if there was a bar but there were beers you could buy from the fridge and there are so many food and drink spots up the road.

There have been some improvements. Previous fussy rules about not opening the pool until 10.00 and closing it at 20.00 seem to have been dropped. TV offers a lot of channels, but it can be confusing to use. The location is close to Khao San but being away from it is good. And close to the river.

The very immediate area has become very rundown. Palace Ville is a beacon of light.

The room is enough for the 3 of us. The staff are so friendly and very accommodating. We like also the swimming pool and the breakfast of course. We had late check-in because our flight landed in Bangkok in the evening and it was raining also. We requested before hand to have late checkout and the hotel replied us on email that it's okay and no charges for it.

Our cellphone wife were working perfectly but I don't know what happened because my laptop wifi was not working. The reception give me another password but still not working.

The service, breakfast, location, and noise level were excellent. The staff are very friendly and polite. The breakfast caters for nutrition and taste. Great range of buffet options. Close to Khaosan Road, but not too close. No doof-doof music! Great!! Really good value for money.

There are occasional guests who smoke near the pool. They are clearly brain-dead and very selfish. I wish the staff would tell them to leave and stay with the doof-doof music morons in Khaosan Road. However, I don't blame the staff.

Location is good, near Khao San and other streets where you can find cheap street food, shopping, massage places and so on. Pool is nice and breakfast was good. The hotel looks nice and for example reception area is really clean and in a good condition.

I stayed at basic room and it was okey but nothing special. Price was cheap of course so nothing to complain. If you want to have cleaning, you need to ask it separately from reception.
