big room, balcony, free water and tea/coffee. very big pool. good selection at breakfast. very friendly and helpful staff.

we didn’t know before our stay that the pool was going to be shut 10-4pm for almost all of our stay which was disappointing

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5 Stars) I recently had the pleasure of staying at Royal Princess during our 8 days trip, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel's service truly exceeded all my expectations, and I can confidently say that it is one of the best stays I've had. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by friendly and professional staff members who made us feel welcomed and valued as a guest. They were attentive to every detail and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable stay. The check-in process was smooth, efficient, and personalized. The receptionist took the time to understand my preferences and offered recommendations for local attractions and dining options. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently displayed a high level of warmth and genuine concern for my comfort. One aspect that truly stood out during our stay was the exceptional service provided by the housekeeping staff. They were prompt, thorough, and maintained the room's cleanliness to perfection. It was evident that they took great pride in their work, and their attention to detail was commendable.

The standing is high, the staff are polite and helpful when they can. The breakfast is great and diverse (open from 6 which is very nice when you have to go early). You can get a thai massage with a very kind staff The dishes are tastful too. The cleaning service is perfect They are open about the check-in and check-out hours

The swimming pool requires a swimmingsuit which I looked for in malls all day, and did not find, therefore I had no access to the pool (the reception said they cannot sell any), with the temperature I wanted to relax in the pool in the evening but I brought the wrong swimmingsuit :( Also, one of the ceiling lamp next to the bed stayed lighted on even with everything switched off. I had to sleep without electricity for 2 nights (which means I was not able to charge my phone). I did know how to ask the reception so I let it like this

Upon arrival to the hotel, we were greeted by a grand entrance and very modern foyer with a lovely looking restaurant and bar. The staff were so lovely and very helpful. My room was very spacious, mostly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Nice balcony overlooking the pool too. Pool area was nice and well maintained. My daughter needed a cot as she is only four months old and the staff were beyond accommodating in coming and setting it up and making the cot for bed for her. Nothing was too much trouble.

The halls and rooms are slightly outdated but no big deal really. The toilet was also a little grubby. There is not much within walking distance. Most temples, street markets, night markets and bars are about a ten minute tuk tuk ride away but there are always plenty waiting outside the hotel at the bottom of the road.

Staff are very accommodating. The property is also peaceful. The location is also very great. Outside of the hotel, there is Mr.Khan, a tuktuk rider who is very polite. Ofcourse he will really ask for a big amount if you ask him to take you somewhere, but you can really bargain. Please travelers, also download grab app coz tuktuk and taxis are charging 4x of what grab is asking

The buffet is good but food is nothing interesting

The staff was extremely kind and they upgraded my room from a family room to a suite. They have been very quick with any requests I may have. The room was cleaned every day, fresh bottled water provided daily free of charge. Lovely pool outside (just beware if you have bleached hair!!).

the chemicals used to keep the pool clean have reacted with my bleached hair turning them green (probably these are different than what is used in the EU).

Parking is good, always available. Staff is very helpful especially bell boy. They help for direction and on the way back. Comfort smell with aroma and arrival hall is clear and nice, i understand they do renovation during the time, Bathroom also renovate and room interior. IAQ is good as 400 ppm /1000ppm and ventilation keep well design to remain always. It is not far from China Town approx 15 min with Tuk Tuk ride in about 2-3 USD to China Town for night street food trial and morning walk in the old city.

They might miss to check the thermostat on the room which could not be adjusted, Too hot too cold is always problem. We stay in connect room, aside come with couple so night sound come across. City view is fine for short stay. We request the receipt to save time when leave but they are too busy to detail, and we have to return and get it.

Good experience overall. Very kind staff working there. Large, spacious and comfortable room, with a balcony that opens to pool views. Breakfast was a large and varied buffet with vegetarian options. I stayed here for easy walking access to the UN ESCAP office. It takes about 15 minutes on foot.

The bathroom was looking a little dated, could use a refresh at some point. The neighborhood itself is not very touristy-friendly compared to other neighborhoods in Bangkok. I went out one night to try to find dinner and could not find a restaurant or cafe nearby except for a few small hawker carts.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was large and the internet was okay.

Everything seems a bit run down. The worst part was the gym, it was tiny had a moldy carpet and the AC barely worked. Most of the things in the gym did not work so even though there was some equipment you could not use it. It looked more like a storage room. Also the breakfast was outrageously expensive.

We had a very nice stay at Royal Princess Hotel. The rooms were super clean and spacious. We couldn't believe we got 2 big beds with that price. My grandma, my mom and I stayed very comfortably in our family type room. The staff were quite helpful and accomodating. There is a really nice taxi driver who is always standing in front of the hotel. He will take you to the airport with his pink taxi for only 500 Thai Baht. The hotel is within walking distance from a 7-eleven, some local markets (which I only went to on my last day there and regretted it so much). The local Thai markets are so much better and cheaper than those touristy ones that they recommend you on tourist websites. Anyway, my overall expectations with Royal Princess Hotel was far beyond my expectations. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Bangkok.
