The room is well equipt, clean, and divided in such a way that you feel it is larger than it really is. The shower is big, and the in-room desk is suitable for work. all in all great value. I will definitely come back.

I like it all, but if something is to be disliked, it might be that the elevator from the rooms to the lobby is different from the elevators from the lobby to the ground floor (exit level). Hence, you must switch every time you go from the room to the street and vice versa.

We got to stay in an earth themed room (blue room). The beds were super compfy, the room was spotless and the breakfast absolutely fanatstic - pancakes, smoothies, croissants, sushi... whatever your heart desired! Amazing rooftop bar with a view better than the one at lebua!

Exceptional room, which was big and really comfy. Staff helped to organise the bday surprise for my gf which worked out perfectly. Breakfast was outstanding and has a huge variety of food options. Swimming pool with a View over the Lumpini park. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Housekeeping was not up its game this time. After spending nearly the whole day outside and returning at 4;30pm the room was still not made. Had to call to get it done. They combined the cleaning with turn down service, but then actually did not turn down correctly. Apart from this incident it was a fantastic stay and will definitely come back

Pros: Lovely, large rooms - tastefully decorated, attention to details and comfortable beds. Cons: mini bar was a little dirty and not stocked - we arrived later in the day and a drink in the room would’ve been nice.

Hotel took a deposit on check out and promised it would be returned immediately on check out - this was not honoured - 9 days later, deposit still not returned. I paid my bill in full on checkout so no reason for them to hold on to. I’m incurring interest on my credit card which is annoying.

Amazing experience at SO Bangkok! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by staff who directed us to where we needed to go. At check in, we saw that drinks were sometimes offered (we checked in during an event so the bar was busy with the customers). Each of the upper level floors were themed to an element (Metal, Wood, Earth, Water). Maybe the rooms followed a theme. We stayed on the 28th floor city facing side, which was within the Water Element. Not sure how the decor was water-related other than a little painting, but the extremely high ceiling room did have a massive bathroom with tub overlooking the city. The city-facing side of the room was entirely windows from floor to ceiling (probably 20 ft tall). Amenities were great with an infinity pool on the 10th floor and a rooftop bar on the 29th. There's also a monthly pool party on the last Saturday which we had complementary tickets to. Good music and ambience on the tanning deck on the backside of the pool. The hotel also had on-site dining in the form of a buffet, but we did not partake. We did however, enjoy a spa session at SO spa and some afternoon tea (Fashion HI-TEA). Overall, SO Bangkok has everything a luxury vacationer would want at a relatively affordable price. You will feel like royalty when you stay here.

Location is a bit far from other attractions in Bangkok. The nearest station is a good 3-5 minute walk and across a major road. It might be expected of the travelers here to hail taxis or private cars for their day-to-day. Not much around the hotel, nearest food area 10 minute walk away. Bit of a strange arrangement, possibly to protect their guests, but there are two sets of elevators separating the street level from the rooms. You must take both elevators each time to exit and to return to your room. Just a short walk between the elevators.

Wonderful location with views to the park. Great option to book on the signature club with extra benefits we weren’t aware of: unlimited afternoon tea, then unlimited food and beverages, plus two pieces per laundry per day.

Being part of the signature club should disclose some other benefits in the other areas of the hotel, for example on the bar on the 9th floor or any other special deals. Our closet door didn’t close and the air-con was difficult to regulate, getting the air directly on the face while sleeping:

We loved the pool and fitness centre which was very well equipped for a hotel. The views from the pool were great and our son loved it. We were only there for one night so we didn't explore locally but access to the downtown was easy with metro and sky train. Access to the airport(BKK) was also easy by taxi/grab with a motorway nearby. The rooms were designed in a unique way (elements - we had wood) which was also cool. It's an original experience and one everyone should definitely try once. Recommend.

Expensive. Access from the other airport (DMK) was busy and slow in traffic.

We stayed at Water Element room for 2 nights. I got exact room that I requested 2 months earlier. The view is amazing facing the Lumphini Park and overlooking the skylines of Bangkok. I love the circle big bathtub next to glass window. Really enjoy the view while relaxing in bathtub. The staffs was amazing and friendly. Breakfast buffet was average, not bad but not great.

Our room was at 28th floor right below the rooftop bar. We were informed that the bar close at 12am but loud music was over the time. Then when I called the reception, apparently there were 2 bars which is 1 close at 12am and another at 2am. Loud music was little bit disturbing. However we can tolerate with that because the staff already informed us regarding this as I asked them for this specific room. Its okay for the view, but those can not tolerate, not advisable to stay at this room. Swimming pool is nice but glass mirror by the pool is cloudy obstructing the beautiful view. Water was abit cold to swim.

What an unexpected little gem. loved this hotel, stunning views, super friendly staff, big rooms and the bed and pillows were amazing! lovely pool area. stand out was the breakfast which we had included. what amazing value for money, proper fresh coffees, fresh juices, anything you could want really! we stayed here our last night of 3 weeks away and it was such a nice way to end the trip before flying home. We normally stay at the W, but will definitely be staying here next time.

we liked everything. only thing which could be improved….the music around the pool on 10th floor was so good, beach club house music vibes, but the music up in the roof bar was awful…you’d create so much more atmosphere of the music on the roof was modern sunset/house music. I would have definitely stayed up there longer if it had been better.

Magnificent view on Lumphini Park, delicious and varied breakfast, extraordinary concept of four elements rooms design. We loved everything, especially the details, e.g. beautiful scent of lemongrass in corridors and the lobby. Highly recommend, the hotel is one of the best. Magical view from HI-SO rooftop bar, interesting cocktails designed from zodiac signs. P.S. If you want to attend some event or visit a bar at the hotel, please pay some more attention to this: ask the staff several times and clarify all the details - and you'll definitely get the best experience. Just be watchful.

There were some troubles with early booking of a table at HI-SO bar on the rooftop. I tried to do this by email, but they seemed to pass the request from one to another and hadn't clearly confirmed the booking. On our arrival to the hotel they said our booking is confirmed, but in 15 minutes we saw the announcement in our room saying that some private event was going to take place at the bar that evening and that's why it's closed. So I had to go to the reception again and book a table for the other day.
