We've been stayed BB mantra several times, the hotel staff are always friendly and offer useful helps when needed. The lovely Lanna style room (tidy) and comfortable balcony with green trees + swimming pool view make a good relaxing. This is the best choice hotel while our holiday staying in Chiangmai.

we found breakfast had changed from a hearty typical thaifood to an easy western food (toast + juice or milk... , however, it's free of charge, and convenient^^) Maybe covid and PM2.5 air pollution impacted, somethings changed not only hotel facilities but some nice restaurants and shops of Chiangmai old town are also closed! One good thing has never change is Chiangmai people always warm and friendly!

On our week-long trip, the BB Mantra was the coziest so far. The location is absolutely central in the old town, but still very quiet. Our room facing the pool was spacious, clean (daily cleaning and towel change), with good working AC and hot water all day with good pressure. It also had a fridge with a mini- bar. The pool is clean and there are loungers and fresh pool towels. In the morning they provide a small breakfast (toast, croissants, coffee, tea, juice, cereal) which was a positive surprise. The staff was very friendly and helped us with all our questions. Thank you very much for a nice stay :) We definitely recommend the BB Mantra!

For the elderly or people with limited mobility, access to the pool is certainly difficult, as there are no stairs. On our terrace facing the pool were the outdoor units of all the ACs. Their fans were quite loud when sitting outside.

This is my second time staying at BB Mantra. I cannot fault it! The rooms are spacious, with everything you need- including a mini bar with soft drinks/beers and snacks for a small fee each. You’ll find vanity kits, shower gel and hair products, mosquito lotions, a hair dryer and tea/coffee station in the room. Very attentive! You can book buses to Pai and the staff are very helpful. A short walk from 7/11, restaurants (49 baht Pad Thai!), pharmacy, laundrette across the road, local indie cafes and more in such a small area!

It became our favourite place! We booked extra days, but also going back now after we did some other things in the North. The people are so friendly and are speaking very good English!. We where there with new year and after we asked she right away helped us out with finding some lanterns. It's in the best corner of the old town, a very quiet street but so many things around, many resteaurants, market around the corner. Swimming pool is nice and with all the plants all looks as an oase in the old town. I am sure within this price league it's by far out the best place in the old town. 👌 It's also a lot of time fully booked we realise.

I loved this property and found it as equally enjoyable as their sister hotel Vieng Mantra. Both are excellent choices in the Old city. I had a pool access room which was lovely. My room was spacious, bed comfy, shower hot with excellent pressure. This is in such a central location with so many sights nearby, everything is walkable. The staff are super friendly, all of them. I loved that they offer free tea/coffee, juice, croissants, toast, jam & fruit for you to eat at your leisure in the morning. Very casual but suited the setting. Highly recommend.

that I couldn’t swim because it was too cold!

Friendly staff, good clean AC room with daily cleaning, free drinking water every day, nice swimming pool. Perfect location in the old town, close to local restaurants, 7/11, Tha phae gate and the surrounding markets are walking distance. There is no breakfast as part of the booking but the hotel had tea/coffee, cereals, croissant, toast, fruits complimentary everyday in the morning to help yourself - that was a nice touch.

Not a major point but compared to the room facilities, the bathroom is a bit dated but everything well functioning.

Lovely room, comfortable with all amenities, small mini bar is a lovely touch. Shower fab, air con good, balcony beautiful. They don't offer a breakfast option but there is a small complementarity selection of breads, jams coffee etc to make sure you don't go hungry in the morning and complimentary coffee , tea all day. Small selection of drinks and snacks to purchase at reasonable prices Staff are wonderful,  we arrived early and they sorted check in after a small wait with a coffee provided Good size swimming pool and outside area is a bonus. Lovely location, easy walk to night markets, lovely eating places within 5 minutes. My new  favourite in Chiang Mai will definitely stay on our next visit

Nothing to dislike

I absolutely love this hotel.. the rooms are spacious, equipped and lovely balconies. Cleaned every day. Really nice relaxed vibe to the place. Great little breakfast in the morning. The staff are so helpful, booked multiple things/taxis for us when asked. The location is brilliant, on one of the most beautiful streets in Chiang Mai (in my opinion) and great all round location for visiting Chiang Mai for the first time. Short walks to the night markets, bars, walking streets and restaurants. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

The pool was a little cold but still very clean and great to dip your legs in in the heat!

the property located very well, walking distance to most of the attractions. the pool was a nice bonus. The hotel has 4-5 his parking lots, but they can’t reserve them (we’ve stayed 3 nights and have had available space all the time). the room are nice, with a tiny balcony, we got a room with bathtub which was very convenient since we came with our baby. the hotel offers a tiny breakfast for free, some coffee, toasts and fruits. the room was the staff was amazing! very attentive and helpful!!!

the towels were with some stains, I understand that they was clean and washed, but yet it feels weird.

The hotel was in a good location in the old city of Chiang Mai. Very friendly staff at the reception, especially the night lady which gave us recommendations about where to go. We enjoyed the complimentary light breakfast and the provided bottled water. The kids enjoyed the pool after a day of walking around in the heat. Daily room service was great.

WiFi didn't work properly and was constantly disconnecting
