we needed uk staying here twice- before and after we visited Pai. we found it really relaxing and comfortable. it’s so close to the old city and other areas of Chiang Mai. It’s nice and peaceful. it was lovely to have a pool to cool down in during the day. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

the rooms were a little dirty- markings on the walls and some dirt in the floor- but it really wasn’t a big deal to us at all

Chedi Home was a perfect place to stay when visiting CM. Quiet at night, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water when showering. Small pool but large enough to cool off. All the staff spoke enough English and were always respectful and helpful. They will book all the tours at a good price.. Breakfast was great. I had the fruit plate with musli, French Toast with fruit, pancake. All were excellent. Good location, just outside Old Town. Easy 10 minute walk to Thai Pay Gate and Sunday Night Market.I highly recommend staying at Chedi Home when you visit CM.

The only thing not up to par is the Fitness Room. Too small and not enough equipment.

We arrived at 6am from an overnight bus from Kanchanaburi and the staff were really accommodating. They allowed us to store our bags and use the facilities such as the pool, shower etc until our room was ready- which was the same for check out too as our train wasn't until 3pm. The breakfast was amazing and if you going on an early morning trip then they would make you breakfast extra early before kitchen was open. Beds were super big and comfy! Even let us use the the printer to print our cambodian visas and train tickets.

We booked a tour to Chiang Rai with the hotel, which was OK and they got us a very good priced/had a promo on. They did try push us some of the elephant tours that still let people ride/bathe, but we were very specific about not wanting that- so bare that in mind if you book that through them.

very spacious and clean within walking distance to temples and basically everything. very good air conditioning and very relaxed surroundings. Being beside an authentic old Chedi right outside our window added to the Thai experience. Very well kept property going through some updates (additional glass doors) in the reception area during our stay to improve air conditioning confort since breakfast is served in same lobby. The place is like a mini oasis in a busy city. Loved staying there.

Nothing. There are no elevators ( not a problem for us at all) so elder people will need to consider this, but stairway is not that high.

Hotel is situated within walking distance of Chiang Mai center, including the various night markets. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was delicious and included lots of local fruits. Room was on the small side, but clean and tidy. Bathroom had a separate shower area. Room was cleaned on a daily basis.

The pool was very small, so there's not much to swim. The first two nights we slept next to some very noisy guys, for whom my boyfriend had to alert the staff. Mattress was pretty hard.

Location, cleanliness, staff are the best i've met in all my travels, knowledge of events excursions and a discount on so many trips. Food 1st class, even complementory fresh fruit for ones health. Going back asap. Loved everyone and everything at C.H.

There was nothing i did'nt like. Well maybe the western tourists, who walk around C.M and don't have any desire to engage with the local beautifull thai people who have so much to teach us about life.

Perfect location! Very big room with comfortable bed. Tea kettle with free coffee/tea included along with a free water bottle daily. WiFi worked well. Pool was great for taking a dip! They even had pool towels next to the pool for use. Had a work out room (I didn’t actually use it though but saw others using it.) Free breakfast was included in our stay. We were able to pick from lots of options and they also brought out a fruit plate with every breakfast. Staff was so friendly and helpful! They helped us to print out our visas for our next location free of charge! The hotel also has tours you can book with a discounted price!

We loved this hotel. It has character and charm. The breakfasts were excellent and the poolside area, whilst small, was generally quiet and a quiet oasis in a hidden corner of downtown Chiang Mai. Very good size room. Staff were friendly and personable at all times.

There were one or two very minor rough-around-the-edges aspects e.g. no bedside table/lamp on one side of bed, and slightly shabby balcony, but the good bits far and away made up for this.

Lovely little hotel/guest house. 5 mins walk from Tae Pae Gate and a few bars just along the road which were all friendly. We were in the ground floor and it was lovely and quiet and no stairs with luggage! super comfortable bed, nice breakfast and very friendly staff. one of the kind men at reception organised for the return of my purse after I left it in the taxi from the airport - a huge relief! Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again when we return to Chiang Mai. Excellent value for money. 20 mins walk to the other side of the river for riverside restaurants and live music bars. 15 min walk to the night bazaar, 5 mins to the old city. Excellent place to stay!

The staff at the property could not be any more helpful if they tried. We were checking out early as we had to leave for the airport and left at the same time as breakfast starting. Staff assured us we had enough time to eat breakfast before we left, due to the flight only being domestic, so we did and it worked out perfectl. The variety for breakfast was brilliant and failing us staying they were going to make a pack up for us to leave with. £25 a night including breakfast, you truly cannot go wrong! The room was clean. Good location, 5 minute walk to markets, 10 minute walk to the main square.

The rooms weren’t as modern as others we have stayed in but it wasn’t really an issue. Let’s just say, the room had that Chiang Mai character, not to my taste but cosy.
