-The location, this hotel is really well situated. Easy access to the restaurants’ area and the night markets. - Access to free water bottles all day long, which is really useful in Thailand. - The staff of the hotel was great. - The access 24h/24h to free water bottle especially when you are traveling with babies.

-The swimming pool wasn’t that clean. At some corners of the pool there was green mold. - The baby cot was an old one and the blankets weren’t washed properly. Finally we had the baby sleeping with us in the king size bed.

The breakfast had a lot of variety. Very satisfying! The location was central and easy to explore on foot. Close to the Chiang Mai Gate and the old city. Only a short 12 minute taxi ride to the airport. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Really liked the warm, helpful and friendly receptionist! She made us feel very welcome!

Unfortunately we arrived in the afternoon with construction workers busy below making a lot of noise. Of course this was completely out of the hotel's control. There was nothing we were unhappy with in relation to the staff and facilities.

Breakfast was good and staff was extremely accommodating. We arrived early from the airport and even though it was late, staff provided us with good vegetarian breakfast. Location: It is centrally located and closed to South Gate. Night street food facility is just 100 meters from the hotel. Big market is just across the street. Room: was alright. Bed was comfy.

There was a small window that we could not open. It faced building behind the hotel. Hotel is converted from old home and rooms are on the smaller side.

Location is very good, nearby the night market and Sunday night market, coffee shops and 7 11 are nearby also. The staff are friendly, easy and quick check in and check out. Breakfast buffet is small but they can provide omelet especially for Muslims visitors who will not find much to eat.

Beds make noise at any move, but it wasn't a big issue for me. No iron in the room

Everything you read from the reviews about its amazing location is real! It’s 1 min walk from the South Gate of the inner city and the whole strip of street eats that is there every day. You’ll also find 7-11 and Lotus (convenience store) near the South Gate to buy snacks, supplies and drinking water! The hotel is on a quiet street so it’s perfect for sleep at night. We also want to thank the night-shift staff (a young man) who helped us check in at 6am cos we arrived super early from Bangkok. He was above and beyond helpful, welcoming and kind so that we could rest our heads once we arrived the property. 🙏😊

For the price it’s really near perfect! The only thing is perhaps the bathroom sink it was slightly clogged.

This is a gem of a hotel. I love the staff. They're the sweetest in the world. The room was super clean, nicely appointed and very comfortable. I was there for 3 weeks and it couldn't have been better.

Golden Bell Hotel is a perfect joice to stay. The room was big enough. It was quiet, because no through road. The location is directly at the old town entrance. They even have a small, clean pool for refreshing and the staff was extreemly friendly.

The breakfast should be more westernized, because there are also western people.

Staff were incredible, very helpful and friendly. The customer service was fantastic! They were so friendly and let me push my check out time a little bit later 10/10! Unfortunately the power went out multiple times when I was staying there but that was not the hotels fault.

I really did not enjoy the breakfast unfortunately. The power tripping was unfortunate, but like I said that was not the fault of the hotel.

Big, clean room and very helpful and professional staff. Great location. Nin at the reception was great!

I used Golden Bell for my day 5 test&go. The hotel staff and testing staff were so helpful and our Covid test results came back super fast. The testing team were waiting for us in a special truck outside the hotel door so we didn't have to try to find the hospital. Aside from helping with the logistics of Covid, the hotel was really great. The room was huge and very clean, the pool was lovely, and we could easily walk to the Saturday Walking Market and Chiang Mai Gate.

Beds were a little firm for me, but that's standard in Thailand
