Perfect location, room with a balcony, nice service; Lady who serves breakfast is completly exceptional and nice, the kindest person we met in Thailand; I wish her sll the best and hope to see again;) she served my partner extra portions, and showed us few tricks with Thai fruits;) she is really warm, adorable and lovable person, and if I would come back to this hotel, she would be a main reason of that!;)

No lift, poor breakfast choice, room was not clean enought (we found some personal things under our bed, which did not below to us), high level of humidity; if you want to pay by credit card you will be charged extra +3%

The staff was super nice and gave lots of good advices, we could even leave our luggage in the lobby on the last day for a couple of hours. The location of the hotel was very central. The rooms were very clean and you can always take water from a dispenser. Many spots too hang out in the hotel, very comfy

You can hear the noises from all the rooms around plus the streets even though they are a bit further away. But this is not just on the hotel: if the other guests would care more for each other (close the door silently) , it would probably be okay...

This is a beautiful property on a lovely site! It is more traditional than a lot of other hotels in the area which was greatly appreciated. It still had all the usual facilities of one (ac, ensuite, balcony e.t.c) The location is absolutely fantastic, with restaurants, bars and night markets only minutes away, while still being a wonderfully peaceful spot to sleep. The staff were incredibly helpful and even hand wrote us a recommendation of local restaurants based on our tastes. We will definitely stay there again in the future!

There are no elevators, so we had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs. This might be an accessibility issue for some people but it was mostly fine for us. Definitely still worth the stay!

Room serviced every day, very clean, great facilities including filtered chilled water machine. Staff super friendly.

Great location in the old walled part of the city. resort was like an oasis after the dust and bustle of the streets. Great friendly staff, who spoke English and always were available. Pool was clean and lovely to cool down in. Filtered water in foyer is fabulous to reduce the plastic waste. Breakfast were great - good for all of the family (5 of us) and very filling. wifi was excellent. Staff were amazing… we arrived at 9am tired from the train journey and they let us into our rooms immediately so we could relax and use the pool. Sunday was a perfect day to be in Changi Mai as night markets were the best we have been to and only 5 min walk from resort. highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was a good variety. I don't eat meat so mostly ate some fruit and toast, and some pad thai. The staff was very helpful when I had an issue with my phone not making outgoing calls as the airlines changed my flight plan. One of the front desk people used her phone to help me call and take her phone to my room to try to work things out. They were all very concerned and helpful until my issue was resolved.

The swimming pool was much smaller than I anticipated and it's close to the road with traffic noise so I wasn't very inspired to swim.

It was a great little hotel right in the heart of the old town with a great pool. Room was big and clean and fresh with a bit of attention paid to the decor. Nice touch. Everything was a very short walking distance for the basics; booze, restaurants, markets, etc. The rest of the city is very accessible by tuk tuk.

Staff were nice, but largely passive. More interaction and friendliness would have made this an exceptional place to stay. Hard to make happen I know, but worth mentioning as constructive criticism. They weren't unfriendly but just... you know.

From start to finish my visit was exceptional. I arrived before the room was ready due to the overnight train and was allowed to leave my luggage whilst I went for breakfast. I then, by chance, asked to enter my room early, which they kindly allowed me to do. The room, even though located opposite the main stairs, was perfect. Clean, cool and did not echo any noise that I was concerned about. The breakfast was from an option of three which allowed for any taste and the coffee was gorgeous. The staff were wonderful, very helpful when arranging trips, even last minute, and booked me a taxi for departure. They were also very friendly with every encounter. There was also a push for refillable water bottles which I loved. Each room is issued a plastic bottle which you fill from the water dispenser downstairs. Also there is refillable soap and shampoo. I really liked this idea and thought it was great. The location of the hotel is perfect also. As a solo, female traveller, I felt safe, I found it easy to locate and was not hidden away. It is a beautiful hotel too. There was some building work happening, however, I barely noticed this whilst I was staying and there was clear signs saying when this would take place, which I thought was a very good idea. On departure, I was once again allowed to store my luggage following a late departure, and was able to use the pool before leaving. Thank you for a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

There was a bugs nest in one of the lights above the dinning room. It was easy to avoid, but something to look out for if you are not a bug fan. I am not sure if they are allowed or safe to remove, so did not complain.

We really liked the location with shops and market access within easy walking distance. Plenty of temples to explore on foot as well. Looked forward to our breakfasts each day with a decent selection on offer. The staff were friendly and accommodating, particularly the respectful and thoughtful son of the owner who spent some quality time with us. (Apologies for forgetting his name!) The room was nice and quiet and spacious and the resort a leafy peaceful oasis to return to each day. Loved the swimming pool! Highly recommended.

Perhaps if I have any criticism, our room was quite dark being in the old part of the complex. Had to have all the lights on to brighten things up sufficiently.

Really well placed and stunning property with green patios that breathes all the beauty of Chiang Mai. They offer reusable water bottles and a water fountain to save on plastic bottles. Next to a night market and they offer a good selection of breakfast in the morning. The staff really stood out, from the owner to the receptionists, room service and wait staff. they were always smiling and helpful and could advise on a wide variety of discounted tours. The owner is fluent in French which can be extremely useful for people who feel a bit lost with English.

I loved my first stay, but my second stay was in a cheaper, more “tired” double room that mosquitoes and fruit flies kept getting into.
