This hotel is clean, had great hot water, a very comfortable bed, nice comforter, nice air conditioning, and extremely friendly and helpful staff. It was a great location, quiet, but very close to great restaurants, and right in the old city.

If you like very modern, white walls, black window trim, no decorations, that sort of thing, the room I had will work well for you, but, if you like something more stylish, warm, more Thai-looking, with a different sense of decor that involved things like color, this wouldn't be the best choice.

We felt like we were treated as if we were royalty. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. The kind staff members made sure we were happy at all times and even requested we book activities through sathu hotel which meant we would get free transportation to the event. Our room was made up every day - beds made, bathroom cleaned, fresh free waters and bins cleared. Our laundry was able to be washed, dryed, and ironed (most times handed to us the same day) - smelling so clean and fragrant!! The location was perfectly situated in the old town. There are bikes for hire at sathu hotel this was probably one of our best choices as it makes sight seeing a lot more fun - we felt safe at all times on the road. Having a pool at our accommodation really helped a lot as it was super hot especially after the temple visits.

The only thing - if you have blonde hair be careful of the pool! The pool water turned both of our hair green after the first swim.

Very calm and zen, the place is very relaxing you can feel the zen aura upon entering. There is a nice patio around the pool and balcony to chillax. There is coffee and snacks possible to buy cheap onsite and free tea and cookies. The staff is very kind and helpful they helped us to arrange some trips and avoid overpayments. We have also given clothes for washing and colors where not nixed together as we asked, laundry arrived smelling good and most importantly delicate fabrics were not damaged. Even panties were folded into small cubes which I find quite and grandmother viby.

The walls separating rooms are a bit thin. We had no problems with it as other visitors were calm and respectful but if you're unlucky and find yourself surounded with noisy people might be a problem.

We enjoyed our stay in Sathu hotel and thought the location of the hotel was great. The bed was really comfortable and having a pool was awesome given how hot it was during our stay. The hotel staff were helpful and we appreciated that they organised activities for us like watching a Muay Thai fight!

The walls between the rooms were quite thin, so we were woken up before 7am on multiple mornings because the people in the room next to us were talking loudly.

Super happy to have stayed here. The location is perfect, it's close to most places in Chiang Mai but at the same time, it has no noise because it's in a small street. Very relaxing atmosphere, the recepcionist was nice and they have a useful laundry service. The room is good, not huge but cozy and clean. And the best thing about the hotel for us was the swimming pool, being able to swim in such a relaxing atmosphere was marvelous. 10/10 would recommend, especially for couples.

The owner reception staff were excellent. They were exceptionally helpful when I had a personal problem. Breakfast was simple but made to order. It was perfect to have the option of Thai food for breakfast. The location of the hotel is also ideal. In a very quiet alley but within easy walking distance of Thapae Gate and streets with friendly bars and restaurants. The small swimming pool was a bonus and visually pleasing.

The room is comfortable but really small so I would recommend to choose a bigger option. The hotel is pretty recent and well kept, with a great location to walk everywhere. The staff is really helpful with bookings and everything you may need on the city. It was also possible to eat there some leftovers we had from cooking class for dinner.

A clothes bag was lost on the laundry and was impossible to found. There was noise from neighborhood bars at night. The pool area looks better on this pictures since there is no sun reaching the area and this is a slightly dark/cold area

A peaceful boutique hotel with a really comfortable bed. Good advice given for finding a cooking class at which I had a great time. The hotel is well located near Chiang Mai gate with the night bazaar only a 20 minute walk away. A good laundry service is provided too at affordable rates with same day return for laundry deposited in the morning. The staff provided a faultless service and I will definitely return.

The owner went out of their way to make us feel warm and welcoming. The pool was just the right size and it was lovely to relax and listen to some quiet and peaceful music whilst drinking a very reasonably priced beer. Meeting some lovely guests also. Laundry service was same day and also very reasonably priced. Thank you for making our stay feel great.

My only confusion was locating the hotel due to Google maps not pinpointing the exact location.

Everything about this stay was amazing!! The owner (who was the receptionist) and the staff were very welcoming. No request was too big or small - they were all incredibly friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The room, although on the smaller side, was spotless and comfortable. The pool offered a great place to relax and escape the heat. Lastly, it is perfectly located. It's close to the outer-ring road of old-town and its within walking distance to great restaurants, massage parlors, night markets, and pubs and bars within it. If we are ever back, we will definitely stay there again.
