The best hotel we’ve stayed during our 5week travel with 9 locations. incredible atmosphere, the staff is heart warming kind and caring. it’s like a little haven, rooms so spacious, very clean and well maintained. nice pool, bit cold but refreshing. great breakfast, so peaceful with its soft music and kind staff, which remembered each morning how we had our eggs, teas and coffee, restaurant is open for guests for lunch and dinner too. poolbar with wooden games and books. We really felt so welcome and taken care of, from the receptionist to waiter, from cleaners to security doorman. this place is in our hearts.

it’s on a busy road, which you don’t notice at all in the resort (super silent) however we took a tuk tuk or red taxi to go somewhere with our small kids rather than walking

We stayed in that wonderful and peaceful place for 5 nights and had a wonderful time here. The location is very good, the rooms are clean, good equipped and our bed was suuuper good. I feel we could sleep there forever. :-) The service quality of the team was also very friendly, super helpful and just very much focused on the well-being of their hotel guests. The breakfast was good, with fresh fruits, several cereal’s, bred, hot offerings and a wide selection of juices, teas, coffee variations. The price was also reasonable and the receptionists were very helpful to organise tours for us. The internet speed was also very good, we had 40 Mbps download and 80 Mbps upload as I used a speedtesting app on my wirelessly connected mobile phone close to the access point.

Neat old building. Very comfortable beds. Pool wasn’t huge but it was a nice setting, and the water temp was perfect. Good coffee and cooked eggs made to order at breakfast. Great location, easy to walk into the center or around the city walls, long walk or short cab ride into Nimman for great food and night life. Check out 7ar-Rak bar across the alley, cool place for late bite and cold beer.

Breakfast was limited, and the Thai food was just okay. Fruit selection was limited but changed daily. Only two small bottles of water provided, but you could ask for more. Restaurant hours very limited.

gorgeous property. very friendly and welcoming staff. they let me check in a bit early as the room was ready. they serve tea as you’re waiting. this is 100 percent a five star experience at a very good price. on the outer edge of the central district of chiang mai. the staff spoke very good English.

I didn’t see that much of Chiang Mai as I didn’t want to leave the room!

Great Staff...attentive, positive, respectful and warm. Food at the restaurant we thought was very good. My Thai wife thought the Thai food was excellent. Comfortable bed and wonderful view of the pool from our balcony.

We never could get the shower to work properly. They tried to adjust the sensors for the hot water multiple times. Our final morning, no hot water at all. For a hotel of this quality....that is pretty unacceptable. Being told the entire building is "this way" is not an acceptable answer.

Room was large with a balcony to sit on. The view over the pool was peaceful. The staff were always friendly, cheerful and very helpful, both tours recommended by the staff were exceptional. The food in The Canal restaurant for breakfast and other meals was great.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Hot water was a bit inconsistent.

The staff at The Rim are fabulous - so warm and helpful. Whenever there was a small issue, they were really quick to correct it. I also appreciated all the help they gave us in ordering Grab taxis. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed the fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order at breakfast.

Only minor issues - which were quickly sorted out.

The hotel pool is too cold, freezing. If the pool was heated I would have stayed and extra week, but in 9 days, I simply could not get in the frozen water.

First and foremost. ALL the staff are absolutely amazing, they make you feel like part of the family. The only reason that I've marked the facility down slightly is due to over running maintenance work on the pool but the hotel management went out of their way to provide us with an alternative pool option

It's an amazing hotel, the bed was one of the best we have slept in Thailand 🇹🇭 nice swimming pool breakfast superb nothing was to much trouble 👌 good size room with balcony by the pool.and nice Thai food restaurants close by and the red taxi is always outside to take you any where. Cannot fort the hotel 5 mins from airport 😒
