The property is absolutely stunning. The buildings and furniture are beautiful. The pool is incredible. The hotel was very peaceful and quiet

They have a problem with the water heater in some of the rooms - and the water has a bad metallic (rusty) smell. We had to change rooms. It happened in more than one room, but they're working on it. They tried to accommodate, and the third room was better. The breakfast is okay for food quality. It was not as nice as in similar properties in Thailand. The service at breakfast and the setup were fantastic. The food itself was just so-so - both in quality and quantity.

Breakfast was exceptional. Top in the restaurant was really a top guy. All the staff at the reception, restaurant, cleaners & every member of the whole hotel were really friendly, courteous & helpful. Full marks to all of them! Saw, the manager was very professional & informative too. Thank you to all the great staff!

Wish there was a sofa or easy comfy chairs with a foot rest in the room, which otherwise was excellent. Oh! we could not open the window either. Sorry, just a minor thing. Secondly after check out, the sofas in the lobby were occupied so a bit uncomfortable to spend time from 12 to 3 pm on the chairs. Perhaps, there should be more sitting area to wait for taxi in the lobby.

The hotel has a great location - central but quiet w/o busy roads directly nearby. Many tempels (wats) are located within walking distance, and it is easy to dine and shop in the surroundings of the hotel. The hotel has a spectacular architecture. Library, pool and restaurant (where also breakfast is served) are great, too. Breakfast has a buffet and items from a menu can be ordered in addition to the buffet (two items per guest - which is more than enough!!). Good coffee, tea and juice selection. The library has extensive literature offerings. All very neat and clean. Staff super friendly and helpful. Only a few minutes of taxi time to the airport, but no disturbance by noise from arriving or departing airplanes.

staff were excellent. good amount of space on site. luxury was more thru the staff than anything else. location was good without being great within old city. restaurant was better than anticipated in the evening.

while our room was nice unfortunately we had a room up steep flight of stairs and I had an injured leg. seemed odd to have us up so many stairs for the price paid. Glad we only had luggage for a few days from Bangkok as the stairs would have been impossible with more. we travel a lot to hotels in Asia and we found this very strange for $ paid and reputation alignment. if I’m up stairs I would anticipate a view or less $.

The hotel was a haven of peace and tranquility. The decor was indescribably beautiful and tasteful, so much so that it was difficult to leave it to go out to visit the town and surrounding areas. The location couldn't be any more central, and it was QUIET.

The air conditionner made so much noise that it made it difficult to sleep. I also found the pillows to be uncomfortable and seemed to battle with them all night.

The room was lovely, the hotel grounds were peaceful and calming you would not think you were in the heart of Chiang Mai old town. the pool was excellent and a good size for swimming. Breakfasts were great, good choice.

Only thing that needed to be improved was wifi access in the rooms walls were quite thick and the signal dropped frequently.

Wonderful included breakfast (made to order!). The property was like staying in a Lanna manor, and felt very luxurious. The service was as good as we’ve come to expect in Thailand, and we were also provided a welcome drink at the bar! The complementary bug spray was also appreciated.

The bathrooms were a bit tricky with the door, and the bed was firm for my taste. The AC was also quite loud. It could be a difficult property if you have accessibility concerns, as the stairs into the room and the small door may be difficult to manage.

Absolutely everything. The hotel is beautiful and the design is really inspiring creating a sense of peace and tranquillity within its city centre location. Within walking distance of the temples and night market. The staff were superb and could not be more polite and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. The room was comfortable, well appointed and quiet and room service unobtrusive. This hotels offers much more than your usual 5 star establishment you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely nothing it really was perfect.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Chiang Mai. Service was exceptional, location central, facilities awesome. We eat in the restaurant - very fine dining and reasonable prices. I particularly liked the open fire during breakfast and the breakfast itself which was made to order. Pool is really relaxing and the communal areas very zen and chill. For the price the best top end hotel I stayed in during my Thai holiday.

I have no negative comments - as close to perfect stay as you could come.

Gorgeous designer hotel, both inside and out. Tasteful, serene and soothing, comfortable, stylish, spacious, beautiful pieces of art throughout the property with classical music piped gently in the background (outside spaces). Restaurant is lovely and our dinner was delicious. We absolutely loved this hotel and will stay there again.

If I have to nit-pick, then I would say the internet was a bit volatile, it would spontaneously disconnect us from time to time. Note that we were always able to re-connect right away.
