The Sofia is in a great location for both the nightlife and the beach. The room was kept clean and tidy and the aircon worked well. I only had one breakfast at the hotel as there is so much choice around, but it was tasty and good value. Pool tables are there if you fancy a game and it's nice to sometimes sit in the little garden area.

Carrying a heavy suitcase up four flights of stairs isn't fun. The hotel assistant offered, bless her, and I jokingly got her to try and just lift it! Perhaps make sure you have a male member of staff on hand for check-ins to the higher rooms?

Hotel's territory is genuinely beautiful. The location is great, close to pretty much anything. The staff was welcoming and we had no problems with checking in or checking out. They have a lot of animals there, two kittens, a dog, a snake, a hedgehog, a rabbit, and fish! Everyone was adorable:) The inner yard was stunning, especially in the evening. The rooms were comfortable, there were towels, water bottles(they were also refilled), and a bar of soap provided.

It was said that there is going to be A/C in the room which wasn't exactly true(at least for our room). We only had a fan, which was pretty much the only downside of that place. The nights were extremely hot and the fan was quite loud, so might not be suitable for you who have trouble falling asleep.

Friendly & helpful staff.put fresh water outside room as didn't want room cleaned every day. Welcoming & approachable, a very good stay.

Pigeons nesting / noisy early morning. ( lots of them) cooing loudly.

Rooms were spartan, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared. Would be nice if it could start before 8.30. Good location, central but quiet. Walking distance to Hua Hin old town and night market. Laundry nearby. Staff is great! They arranged a full day tour of the area and a taxi ride back to BKK for cheaper than you get on the street.

No elevator and quite steep stairs. Stairs are outdoors so when it rains it becomes very slippery. Toilet paper available upon request. There are quite a few animals in inadequate enclosures (an albino snake, bunnies, guinea pigs, a hedgehog), kind of hard to watch for sensitive people.

Location was great. Staff always available. And in many hotels the showers and toilet are close to each other. If you are going to complain about water on the bathroom floor find someplace more expensive and shut up about it. Breakfast was what you wanted. A lovely lady made it to order every morning. It was a pleasant stay there for 5 nights. Beach is close but careful about the sun. and nice to have the option of A/C or electric fan in room.

Bed was a little too firm. Other than that no complaints.

This is the fourth or fifth time I've stayed here over the last few years, the first time since C-19, always made to feel welcome. Room Service every day, 2 bottles of water each day. 10-minute walk to the night market, bars and restaurants, about a 20-minute walk to the beach. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hua Hin

For the price it was a perfect room.

We liked that there were many animals, but especially the box for the snake looked very small for a snake this size. It was a sad to see that she has to live in this little box. Hopefully this is something to consider.

Good location, friendly staff, 2 pool tables. Overall good value. Comfortable firm bed for someone with a bad back like me.

As many reviewers mentioned, the stairs are narrow. I was fine with it, but they could be challenging for elderly or handicap. Shower head was broken, but the staff replaced it when asked. Towel bar missing, but I used the chairs to dry my towels.

The hotel is very close to the place where the minivan from Bangkok leaves you, so you can reach it on foot. To go back to Bangkok, the bus leaves from a stop which is like a 2-minute-walk from the hotel. The hotel is nice, in the center and very close to the beach. The rate was pretty low as well (350 baht per day). 2 half-liter-bottles of water are included per day. Internet speed was excellent

Unfortunately with no tourism in Hua Hin, the town is a bit too quiet and desert. But of course that does not depend on the hotel, which, as I said, was quite good
