Moonlight Bed & Brunch - SHA Extra Plus

The room with a pool access is amazing. You get a lovely view on the river and can jump in the pool first thing in the morning. We really loved the location as it was quiet and peaceful but had plenty to do nearby (including a lovely cafe for breakfast, a great cocktail bar where you can watch sunset and an amazing seafood restaurant). This is all to the left when you exit the hotel. if you want to go any further on the island (and you should) you can rent a scooter directly through the hotel which makes it much easier as well. Overall we really loved our stay there!

The open part of the hotel needs some small renovations. We hope that the remaining part can one day be restored as well!

Very nice hotel but like a lot of people said: it really needs some work. This place could be a true jewel on Koh Lanta if they renovate the entire resort. The rooms are nice and spacious, beds comfortable and the pool is quite nice as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Be aware the staff here doesn't speak any English. You will need Google translate. There's also no one at the hotel at night, which can feel a bit weird especially given the location of the hotel, which is a bit remote.

Great Staff and clean and modern hotel. The staff even helped us in finding great medical care for an emergency. Thanks a lot! So overall great experience and we can really recommend a great breakfast place (auntie Mae) 10 minutes into the city and a great restaurant 3 minutes in the other direction (coconut). overall we think It was also from the location great as a starting point on the island if you are comfortable with taking a bike or taxis.

It seems after Covid a lot of shops are more far away. Still, it is under construction and probably will get much better in the next season! :)

Beautiful, peaceful location, away from the busy noise but easily accessible. Nice pool to relax at. Comfortable, big rooms with good facilities. Lovely lady on reception who was very helpful and arranged taxis, scooters, etc for us.

No breakfast/food facility on site but a linked cafe next door, 1 minute walk away. Short staffed, means the poor lady at reception has a million jobs to do. You probably need to hire a scooter whilst here.

Everything ! The hotel and the rooms are very clean and quiet, the beds are very confortable. All the staff is great, and Pen at the reception is really nice and helpful for all the excursions, boat trips or any other advice on the island ! I'd 100% recommend this hotel. It used to be a bigger hotel before covid but they still take care of the part they are not using, and hopefully it will reopen soon. Also the private beach is nice and quiet. Thank you for everything !

it was very modern and updated, the staff were very welcoming and kept our room and surrounding areas very clean and comfortable to stay in, the reception were always very helpful with every request and sorted scooters out for us, there are some facilities which are closed due to only just reopening, but this didn’t impact our stay at all. infact it was quite nice having the private beach all to ourselves especially for sunset, there are plenty of bars within walking distance anyway.

The hotel is quite nice and the receptionist is amazing. We got a big room with a pool view. Part of the hotel is closed: gym, library, restaurant, etc. Altough, you can pass by them to reach the private beach. They provided a motorbike (300B) and helped us to book the 4 Islands Tour (1000B.) We really enjoyed our stay (6 days). There is a good restaurant nearby (Shanti Shanti) - it's more expensive but the food is great! Thank you Pen/Pan :)

It doesn't mean that I didn't like but the breakfast could be improved. They have 6 different options but the portions are small.

I liked this hotel the most during our stay in Thailand. Our room was exceptionally spacious and clean and every detail was considered: light concept, big bed, comfortable balcony, clean and quite big pool, good shower, and stable wifi. A special shout-out to the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again!

There's no breakfast at the hotel and the café next to it offers mainly Western food and snacks. But you can rent a scooter at a reasonable price through the receptionist and enjoy all the good restaurants within a small radius.

We liked this place really much! Actually it exceeded our expectations. We liked the little remote location. The room size was awesome! It was absolutely clean. The pool was nice. Can't say anything about food though, we didn't order anything. Staff was friendly. you can find nearest "Seven-eleven" 2min driving with a scooter, which btw you can rent at the place for a fair price. Im not sure what price is normal for this place, but having in mind the amount, that we've paid, it was absolutely worth it.

Only minor thing, that comes to my mind is that the AC in the room was a little noisy.

The location is lovely. When we visited the beach area was under repair but we liked the pool on the canal a lot, the green, animals,quiet atmosphere and pool access right from our room. Wonderful!
