The hotel varities of pools compensates the low beach quality of pattaya . the Room facilties will fullfill all your needs even the tiny details like the electrical sockets type .

Even with relative proximity of the walking street. You feel yourself a little detached from the heart of city . The hotel will not permit the cheap transportaion from waiting you at the hotel gate (which is understood) but the hotel has an overprised taxi fees and leave you without any other choises . Also there is no nearby markets to buy the essential needs for you . Also the hotel reception lack the typical tourist programs options for attractions in pattaya (the one catalouge that you could find at any other hotel in pattaya) . Finally the hotel could do a lot of enhancment to the private beach like importing white sand and clean it . The beach was frankly disgusting

Really liked the bed, super soft and comfy. The swimming pools are amazing, and so the beach bar restaurant Breezio.

The breakfast is not good value for money at 700baht, and it caters more for the Asian market of customers. The property is dated and needs a fresh look.

All the Staff, including cleaners, greeted us warmly, cheerfully and politely each time we walked past. We dined in the excellent Panorama restaurant and the food was delicious. The two infinity swimming pools are beautiful and shallow enough (1.2m) for swimmers and non-swimmers alike to enjoy. The changing sea and sky kept the pools in an ever-changing light. Hotel taxis were easy to access and inexpensive. The hotel is kept beautifully clean and privacy is respected. Room service was speedy and friendly.

My wife was able to figure out the unlabelled room light switches, which puzzled me.

I liked that the property has a private beach which is very convenient for us to access anytime of the day. I also liked that the property has several beautiful swimming pools - good depth for all ages.

1. I didn’t like that our room constantly has a sound, similar to the sound of a buzzing flute. I initially thought the sound was from the speed boats - we were staying next to the beach (beach view), but when i slide open the door to the balcony, the sound was gone. I then figure that it was the sound of the sound of the wind blowing through the gaps of the balcony door. Sadly, that sound kept me up most of the nights :( I felt that it was a small matter which is why I didn’t bring it up for a room change of an immediate fix. 2. The room floor is constantly moist.

Excellent facilities, service and food. It felt exuberant and is maintained like a completely 7* luxurious place. Lot of restaurants to choose from and excellent sunset views from pool and balcony. Entire staff is extremely customer friendly and utmost responsive. Special kudos for staff at Kids club who catered to nose bleed of my younger one, also to the reception staff helping us with late night checkin and hotel room upgrade.

Few things which can make Royal cliff a notch above. Plumbing/water pressure in suite bathroom and Jacuzzi was underwhelming, didn't feel worth 25,000 thb a night room. Needs more kids activities and extended beyond 5PM. In winters sunsets around 5.30PM, pool gets cold and there's nothing else to do for kids. You could add a rock climbing wall, Mini golf, Arcade games, Table tennis, Board games, go kart. The existing pool area for kids is showing signs of wear/rust. Needs more slides and fun activities at the pool. There needs to be shuttle service to the city so that we can enjoy the area better. Similar needs more signs for beach access from the beach hotel. It's a bit of a labyrinth.

Terrific size rooms with beautiful sea views. The buffet breakfast had such an amazing choice of food. There were three pools to choose from and plenty of places to relax by the pool. Happy hours at various bars. The staff could not do enough for us. They were so kind, friendly and accommodating. Thank you to all the staff at Royal Cliff Beach Hotel Pattaya for making our stay such a memorable one.

Unfortunately, while we were there, the glass bottom pool was closed for renovation. We were located a fair distance from the main town where we had no alternative but to take transport into town as it was not within walking distance.

I did buy an upgrade to the Wing Suite and Spa as the main building was very busy with Chinese and Russian families who did occupy the pool all the time . The Wing Suite was very nice and relaxing with a beautiful room and good service.

The Pool water was quite cold. In General Restaurant and Bar a bit overpriced for what the offer. Other places in Thailand have better value but this might also be due to the Christmas season.

The hotel is beautifully maintained and has a lovely beach and plenty of restaurants and a few pools with superb views. We had a mini suite and it was very spacious and decorated tastefully. There was plenty of room for clothes, suitcases etc. There is a small step in the mini suite from the bedroom to the living area and you need to be careful as if you don't see the step its very easy to trip over it and fall because its all white marble and its concealed. A small visible strip or smoothing to indicate the step would be good The corridors could do with some updating but in general all the facilities and views were great and its a really lovely hotel for those who want a resort style getaway.

The location is great if you just want to stay in the hotel and use the pool and beach. However if you want to explore you always need to get a cab due to its busy intersection location. The hotel shuttle service should offer to take you to more local places rather than just up the hill. The staff could not handle the amount of guests that came in over the new year so everything took so long to ask for or sort out.

The hotel room was spacious and decorated with roses, as was asked for. The facilities we only used the pool a few times as was only there 2 night's and the beach was quiet and beautiful to watch the sunset. It was a good central location to what we needed. We did the sanctuary of truth, island hoping with Monkey Island and pattaya strip, Pattaya floating market

The hotel could do with an update in the rooms. But overall, it was a lovely hotel and would recommend

This is a large hotel, with 4 hotels and a convention center on the property. Rooms are old but spacious. They still use shower curtains so it tells you how old it is. This is a great family hotel with lots of things to do and roam around. If you have kids, perfect for a family. But spacious and staff are very nice and well trained. I am a FB Mgr in a hotel in Bangkok so very impressed with the staff. Gentleman at front desk offer me and our family a free bed for 2 days. I came down to ask for an additional bed and he was very kind and gave it to me for 2 days. Thank you. Great staff. From front desk to pool staff. All working very hard. They get 5 stars. Check in was easy and checking out was easy. Pool looks much, much bigger in the pictures. It was nice but too many people at times. The infinity pool was very nice on the higher level. Breakfast could be much better. Give better and more options and this hotel is a gem.

Breakfast was not that great. Coffee tasted horrible. Only 2 egg choices. Scramble eggs and fried eggs. No omlette station. Qualitiy of the food could be better. Have more breakfast options, some more juices, and more coffee choices ( all I saw was black coffee ) Choices of Breads were so so.
