Staff were fantastic, food was good, room cleaned daily. Lots of steps and uphill walking to rooms, however vehicles on offer if you requested.

Extwrnal Infrastructure could use some maintenance. Internals were good.

We booked the deluxe room, which was just fine for the price: beautiful view, enough space for 2 adults and a child. The staff is super-friendly, the service excellent. For example, we came back from the beach and I left my sandals outside the door to avoid tracking sand into our room. Took a very quick shower, and went to retrieve my sandals, and housekeeping had cleaned them off (totally unexpected, incredibly quick).

The location is a bit outside of town, but there is a shuttle which makes it easy to get into town and back. The hotel needs some maintenance, it is showing it's age. However, all the amenities of a 5 star hotel, for a much lower price than other places. The 'beach' in front of this hotel is not for swimming; kamala is a 5 minute drive.

Amazing view, spacious room and comfy environment. Best place to relax. Helpful staff. The staff helped to send the food from the lobby to our room when we ordered from grab food delivery

The location is not of walking distance to rhe beach. Very limited free shuttle van timing. Need to pay if want take the shuttle to the beach at other timing. The spa, massage and food are quite expensive in this resort. However, we managed to ordered from grab for food delivery.

Nicely decorated rooms, good bed and shower, beautiful views, quiet location. Sweet welcome gifts were great! A la carte breakfast is nice too. Roomservice was fast.

Staff seemed unexperienced. I received confirmation upfront that I was able to do late check out, but at the counter they said it was not possible because of check in of other guests. After complaining and showing the upfront confirmation it was arranged without any further discussion. The receptionists initially just didn't want to cooperate. For a 5 star hotel at this price you may expect more/better service. It's slightly overpriced. The location might be too far for some from Kamala restaurants and shops. You can't walk.

Location, view and the private pool. Also very nice breakfast including view, food and especially the staff. All other staff also extremely friendly.

Tried the in-house restaurant for dinner one night and it was a complete disaster. Maybe a one time thing since they didn’t argue at all when I said I wouldn’t pay for it. Never tried again after that.

The breakfast was very good and there was even champagne. The hotel is not the newest, but very well maintained. If something doesn't work, the service staff will be there immediately. In our room everything from the minibar was free. Was replenished every day. The room was even made available to us as an upgrade. Staff very friendly. The pool is big enough and looks well maintained. It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was worth 5 stars.

Actually there is nothing to complain about. As already mentioned, the hotel is a bit older and therefore does not have the latest soundproofing. I mean, if you have an inconsiderate neighbor, you will hear about it. But I have to say, I didn't see any backpackers in this price range.

The locations and views were beautiful.

The pool area and beach could be so much better. The pool loungers were very uncomfortable. The. each could be a real asset if they fixed the lift, provided good access to the sea and provided kayaks or water sports. it would be a fantastic attraction.

Ayara was beyond my expectations, everything from the room to the views to the staff was exceptional. It was one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at, the staff was so attentive to what we needed, the resort was so beautiful and the rooms were kept clean at all times. The breakfast spot was beautiful just walking around the resort was so fun. It was also comforting that all the food was halal, thank you Ayara!

I think the food quality could be improved. Also consider getting a room on ground level if you are with elderly or have join problem, going up the villa is tiring. I think having golf carts would be better.

First day, our minivan was late to pick us up, but the hotel made it up to us at the end!
