I was only supposed to spend one night here as I was booked into the Memory at On On for the following 4 nights, however the night after I arrived in Phuket, there were floods in the old town. Chino Town were very kind as they initially gave me a late check out when the water levels were still rising and then allowed me to stay another night when it became obvious the flood was staying till the evening. In the end, my original hotel was flooded and could not house me so Chino town came to my rescue and I could stay for my entire Phuket trip there. The Staff were lovely, the place clean. daily deliveries of water and room servicing if you need it. The hotel is next door to a cafe and another door away from a burger place (useful when the floods were high) - it’s super quiet with good aircon and decent WiFi.

Not a dislike but something to note: The hotel has no reception - instead the front of the hotel is a Japanese ice cream shop. The information about what to do it not sent to you but the staff in the shop will usually help you get hold of the hotel owner and she will be there in a few minutes to check you in.

The room was in two parts with a queen bed in one part and a single bed in the other to accommodate 3 people in all. It was clean and well maintained. The location was excellent - right across the Sunday night market. Definitely worth experiencing.

There was no place to keep your used clothes as there was no wardrobe. A flexible arrangement to hang your used clothes can be a good option. The aircon also took a longtime to cool the room though once cooled it was able to maintain the low temperature.

A fab little hotel right in the heart of Phuket old town, walking distance of all the nice shops and bars. The room was very clean, 2 comfy beds, 2 sinks, shower room, private toilet, towels, window. This is a perfect main hotel for travellers seeking to island hop, to use as a base, to explore Phuket old town and surrounds. Great communication by WhatsApp. Fantastic price. Nothing negative to say about this property at all. Recommend (nice bar next door too for cocktails and food).

Great location on the strip, it was quiet when we went due to the local holiday

The beds were pretty uncomfortable, and there was only one mirror which was in the bathroom - making it slightly harder for 3 girls to get ready

The location is great. Wifi works perfectly. The fact that the reception is not there all the time didn’t affect us because you get a direct contact with them through WhatsApp and they answer immediately.

Nothing. Just to others guests should they be more respectful while listening laud music late in the night or 6 am in the morning or chatting in front of others room doors.

This place was perfect for exploring the old town. We stayed for one night on the night of the Sunday walking market and it was the perfect spot. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Internal rooms meant we didn’t get any noise from the road which was great.

The location is perfect. It’s only steps away from the old town buildings, night market, and tons of unique bars and restaurants. The air conditioning worked well and the reception staff was very nice.

There was an odd smell in the room, but it was bearable.

Our airport pick up arranged by the hotel kept sending or waiting us at hotel's other branch. We had to pull luggages and walked a block instead of being dropped off/picked up right infront of the hotel

The hotel is located very close to the night market and old town. There were many restaurants and Cafes nearby the hotel.

There was some noise from outside coming into my room because my room was the first room on the first floor, and the hotel was on the main road.

My time at Chino Town has been an amazing experience; the best I've had so far in Thailand. The quality of the facilities and service went above and beyond what I expected and I consider the staff to be friends. [FACILITY] Absolutely cool! The hotel can be described as boutique with a classy, artsy theme. The rooms were beautiful (*especially the balcony room I occupied), clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The dedicated wifi is strong and the housekeeper, Sa, was one of the most warm-hearted people I've met. You can be assured that you will be comfortable and feel as if you're living in a home, not a hotel. [LOCATION] Chino Town is located in the heart of Old Phuket Town. You are close to EVERYTHING! You are near all restaurants and bars. Patong is a 7-8 minute drive away. Central Mall is only a 3-minute drive away. [HIGH STANDARDS & SERVICE] To provide a bit more detail, I was in the midst of trying to enter Thailand through the Phuket Sandbox program. The required process to obtain a Certificate of Entry (CEO) was a bit convoluted (NOT FAULT OF HOTEL). It was at the point where I was stuck in JFK airport for three days due to the many evolving requirements of the Phuket Sandbox COE process...three plane ticket purchases (*two of which I had to accept the loss of money) and failed hotel bookings later, I tried to make a last-ditch effort to obtain the CEO by visiting my local Thai Consulate and purchasing all reservations on the spot. The staff at Chino Town actually answered my phone call at 03:30 AM (Thai local time) and processed my booking and provided me with the required SHABA certificate (*apart of the SHA+ program)...ON THE SPOT! Not only that, but they also upgraded my room for free since I was among one of their first guests to enter Thailand via the Phuket Sandbox program. If it were not for Pooh and Fai, I would have been stuck in the United States and absolutely broke with nothing to show for it.

NONE. Absolutely no negatives! This was by far one of the best experiences I've had as a hotel guest anywhere. I assure you, I'm not overembellishing.
