The staff is very polite and friendly. Room was big, clean and had a truly beautiful view. Loved the spaceous bathroom and the comfy bed. Food was fine, there are definitely some options for everyone (including vegetarian-friendly options although you have to do some guessing as there are no ingredient markers). Gym was nice, indoor heated pool was well appreciated in November. Overall, I would recommend.

We felt like somebody tried to sell things to us every day. They allow street vendors to come to you when you are resting at the private beach and the hotel staff is also approaching you with some tour/spa sales offers once you come out of the elevator or have a walk, we were even approached with some entertainment sales during eating dinner. A bit annoying. Cold jacuzzi by the heated indoor pool (pool was warm though).

Shout out to Hafedh at reception. Went out of his way to accommodate us. Absolutely fantastic person, always smiling, calls you by name. Will go back just for his service alone. Resort is very good. Overall excellent stay

The hotel compound is directly by the sea, in good (not excellent) shape of maintenance, good (not excellent) level of service, good (not excellent) selection of food at the restaurant. The beach is very well maintained, but lacks a jellyfish net, which is the main downside of the hotel. To sum up, Steigenberger is Steigenberger - it is a very good four star hotel (in Northern European understanding), but I would not call it a five star hotel. At the SPA you need to make a booking and to pay a fee even for using a sauna. As I purchased treatment packages, they offered to use a hammam and a pool for free any time. However, this arrangement apparently means a higher level of privacy. If you want a good strong massage - ask to be massaged by Wualid.

No jellyfish net at the beach - I was bitten by jellyfish for three days. It is less unpleasant than a mosquito bit, but still you cannot have a relaxed swim, if you can be beaten every second. Electricity in my room went off three times during an eight days stay - once I woke up at night as the conditioned switched off and it was too hot. One day the room was not serviced. Two evenings there was an entertainment attempt, but it was boring.

Loved this hotel, we couldn’t choose better! The staff was super helpful and polite. Food and drinks were very tasty and there was a wide choice of pastries, fruit, juices, smoothies etc. Tunisian food was delicious. Nice swimming pool, perfect location, very good wi-fi everywhere, super comfy beds, great SPA (we tried foot massage, full body massage and hammam and can really recommend all!). The whole resort was very clean and you could see the staff and managers were paying attention to offer the best service. We had a great time and can highly recommend this place for everyone!

The bungalow was spacious and the patio provided was great for private lounging and winding down before bed. The mini fridge was really convenient for chilled drinks during the day.

A few more hangers for the wardrobes. The light in the porch never worked so every evening once it got dark, we had to use the torch light on our phones as the entrance to the property was pitch black. I reported it several times, I was told it was a fault with the wiring. The wi-fi wasn’t password protected and was so unreliable. So disappointing, strong and reliable Wi-Fi is a necessity and one of the first things I look for in my selection criteria.

the location is superb and so are most of the hotel facilities. I had an all inclusive stay and the food was far beyond my expectations. Sumptious food with an excellent variety every day. Special thanks to Mr Mohammed, the receptionist, Ms Jamila and Mr Sahbi in the restaurant and Mr Mourad at the coffe bar who were always around and offering their service very warmheartedly and with a big smile, too 😄. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I had a sea view room and my experience with it was really great 👌 The pools are clean and well maintained and the beach is also fine, apart from some camel excrement here and there!

In my opinion, some staff whom I don’t want to mention names or posts treat international clients more warmly than Tunisian locals. You would definitely reply to my feedback claiming that the hotel policy is to treat all guests equally, yet the reality is different. I had read some other people’s reviews even before visiting the hotel and eventually found out it was unfortunately true!! A few staff need to work on improving the quality of their service and on their perception of TOURISM in general as their attitude would affect the reputation of your place. A few staff having fun, smiling and carefully serving international clients while keeping a peevish face and a cold look at Tunisian guests is something that is worth being considered and dealt with in Steingenberger Marhaba Hotel.

That was our second stay. And although it costs more this time, the level of service decreased. The hotel is nice with good location and infrastructure. One can find calm areas and active ones as well.

That was our second stay. And although it cost more this time, the level of service decreased.There weren't many staff. They show themselves as exhausted and often weren't welcoming or helpful. Meals weren't as tasty as during our previous stay. Staff didn't care tables, no offer for drinks. We had to ask multiple times. During breakfast, there was no offer of coffee service to the table as it was in June. In front of our bungalow dirty glasses were left for 2 days. Nobody cleaned them ... generally, we were a bit disappointed with paying more and getting less, and we wouldn't consider getting back. Also, the toilet in the bungalow was out of flash from time to time, and a lot of ants everywhere (958 room/bungalow)

I booked bungalow, but we had a room with no view. in my booking was saying the will be iron, I asked for one in a reception, they brought one and took it back after few ours… staff were nice in a beginning but if you not leaving a tips they started ignoring us🤣 I wanted to pay for late check out because my flight was at 20:00 , but I couldn’t have it because they said it was fully booked. don’t forget hotel it’s outside the hammamet so you need to use taxi. when I asked about prices even receptionist saying bigger prices then it should be. a tips - always ask taxi driver turn on the meter - your welcome

we spent 3 nights in the hotel, and it was an amazing surprise, loved the room (it was exactly just like the photos posted by the hotel); The Staff were well educated, very welcoming and all smiles. Big thanks especially to Mr Hafith (in the front desk), Mme Jamila and Mr Hakim (in the main restaurant); the beach was clean and safe, two swimming pools one with the sea water. I love the fact that I was able to secure place on the beach and swimming pools because it was forbidden to reserve places before 8AM PS: At breakfast time a really tasty Mlaoui, (Tunisian bread)
