A city hotel similar to that in any other capital city in the developed world. Well run setup with friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Easy walking distance to historic buildings.

Cleaners missed our room one day, mentioned it at reception, next day a member of the hotel staff came to check every room on our floor to make sure cleaning had been undertaken.

Everything was really great, the value of money, location, staff, they helped us with the luggage, parked our car and brought it whenever I needed and parked it againg. The room was spacy, modern, clean with enough lights. The breakfast very good with a variety of food in offer. I stayd in several hotels during my stay in Turkey and this one rankes up to the top ones. Also very close to historical sights.

The only little problem was WiFi as it sometimes stopped working. But it is probably a problem if all Ankara as the city Is overcrowded. But at the reception, they sorted it out immediatelly after telling them. A bit noisy overnight as for the traffic in the streed, but with closed windows absolutely quiet. But these really are only minor complaints comparing to all the other positives

Very clean hotel. The room had plenty of space, it was bright and the bathroom had everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable and had fresh linen. Towels hairdryer,, soap, shampoo were provided as well as a kettle with tea and coffee. Wifi works well. I also have to say that the staff is excellent, I could check-in after midnight and if you need they will also find a taxi for you. The bus from the airport (Ankara air) stops next to the hotel.

Unfortunately, going to the airport from the hotel is a little more complicated. Do not get fooled by the "airport shuttle service" - there isn't one. They will just recommend the buses or the taxi to you. A little disappointed with the breakfast, once you get the taste of a real Turkish breakfast this feels very bland.

The room was modern and convenient. Clean beds, a very good shower. AC was new and fine, same for the fridge and kettle. Coffee and tea complimentary. Great cityscape view from the higher floor. Private secure parking. Helpful and decent staff. Breakfast was ok

No elevator to the 10th floor (from the 9th on foot) Only one elevator for a pretty big and packed hotel - hence really long time waiting in the morning Very noisy and dirty streets in the surroundings. Not a good neighborhood probably (I didn't fear - the police station was near😊).

Breakfasts were the best part we enjoyed at Asal hotel. We had 2 rooms, they were a bit old especially bathrooms, but everything was clean. Reception team was very helpful. Location was good, just 10 min drive from the city center. Taxi cost was around 40-50 lyra to the biggest Anka Mall and to Kizilay area (Kizilay is a very nice area full of shops, cafes and restaurants). Distance from the hotel to the airport was 30 min drive and taxi cost was around 280-300 lyra. There was a very cheap supermarket "Sok" near the hotel, where we could find basic things.

Everything was closed after 7-8 pm in the area around hotel even though google maps showed different working hours of some restaurants. So it's better to dine in Kizilay location. In small cafes near Asal hotel we found that main visitors were only men. Also outside while walking back to the hotel we saw neither women nor kids in the evening, it looked like the only residents of that location were men.

Spacious room, not very far from the center and very courteus and helpful staff, top of all that, the breakfast had so much variety while not compromising on the quality and taste, also, i shouldn't forget to mention, the reception were nice to offer me valet parking on the basement.

Nothing really to dislike about the hotel, perhaps the locality felt a lil shabby and if you are on the lane on the opposite side of the hotel then crossing the road would require some effort as there is no zebra crossing or pelican signal.

Stayed here for 3 nights in November. Locations is excellent - just in 6-7 minutes walking is a Metro station.A wonderfull big park (Genclik) and museums near that.One of biggest malls in Turkey-ANKAMall (for shoppers) is in 2 stations by Metro.The ancient Roman Bath (Open air museum) is just 100 meters from hotel.Ankara castle is also reachable by walking.Couple of Markets and Restaurants in 50-100 meters far from hotel. Staff is very polite and ready to help and support 24/7, special bunch of thanks to Zaur from reception.Breakfast was quite good and varied.Room was clean, served by TV,minibar and teapot. As far i understood, there was a parking as well,but i was w/o car. Overall experience is Ok.I recommend this hotel during your Ankara visits.

Hotel location in Ulus is good, the airport bus drop 2 mins walk away from the hotel which is convenient, however, a bit far from the city centre if you don't have transportation or a car. its value for money , breakfast is good and the team arrange taxi for us when we needed. its recommended for short stays.

Booked the hotel as transit for morning flight. Didn't expect much but was surprised by this hotel. Room was clean and had triple bed (1 double 1 single) and was quite spacious. We're given top floor thus had quite a view. Breakfast starts early around 7 which were just the right time before we had to take off. Wifi was good. Location was good with quite a number of restaurants nearby and a flea market was within walking distance. There was a university nearby too. Check in check out was smooth and no complain for staffs. Would likely be back of I'm in Ankara again.

Hope there's a luggage rack next time so I don't have to unpack my luggage on the bed and end up dirty the bed sheets.
