Great staff who are all helpful even though from what I understand only the owner speaks English. Do not be shy to use your perhaps limited or non existent turkish with the staff, they are very patient and easygoing. In fact I have stayed in Ankara several times and I would say that overall this is the best hotel staff in Ulus (downtown Ankara). The location is good for convenience. You have a busstop very close to the hotel which has a bus going to Kızılay. A little bit further from the hotel but still in walking distance you will find the Ulus metro station. There are all kinds of shops and cafés around the hotel and a grocery store (bim) right outside. If you are worried about safety or what kind of people and streets are in the area I would say it's really not that bad. Ulus and the downtown area in general can have some suspicous people and places that you might want to avoid so it's not unique to this specific location. If you are in Ankara for sightseeing or exploration I would definitely recommend this hotel. Price wise I would say that it's good but I would also like to say that it depends on which room you get. The room I ended up staying in was perfect for the price but the first room I got was really underwhelming. Honestly the reason I rate this hotel so highly is the staff who helped me the entire time and were willing to change the room for me and adjust my reservation. Some interesting things: 1.If you want cleaning you have to request it at the reception and give them the key to your room. 2. I got free turkish tea anytime I was sitting in the lobby (very nice). Overall I am satisfied with my stay, if you want friendly staff, central location in the capital of Turkey, and a good price, this is probably what you are looking for.

Breakfast is kind of underwhelming but it's not bad. It is definitely a turkish Breakfast no doubt but not much to choose from. If you think it's boring that it's the same thing every morning then I would just want to say that it is normal for hotels here. I am fine with the same Breakfast buffet every morning but I do wish they had fried potatoes (French fries). You might think that's a weird Breakfast food but in Turkey it's one of the most common breakfast items.

The staff were helpful and attended to my every need no matter how big or small. The location is perfect, walking distance to just about all the most important attractions.

The WIFI, I’ve limited roaming service and needed to video call quite often during my stay, which ended up being almost impossible.

Great location in Ankara's Old City. Easy walk to many interesting places such as the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, Ankara Castle (actually an old fort on a rocky outcrop with an outstanding view), and several Roman ruins. Staff was very friendly. Free Turkish breakfasts.

It was a little noisy because of room renovations, but only during the day.

Worth for the price. Room was clean. Breakfast included basics as tomatoes, cucumbers, boiled eggs, tea, etc. The receptionists are super helpful and nice.

Located in a crowded and noisy neighborhood. The walls in the rooms are super thin that you could hear how the neighbors from other rooms snored or unpacked the snacks. The wifi connection is weak

If search for a hotel with money value this the best. Free parking too, the staff very very nice , even they not speaking too much but they try , old hotel they start renovation , but they have the best terrace in all ankara
