The hotel exceeded my expectations. It is well located if you are coming from the airport as the Ulus Bus stop it is just one block away, plus is not far from the train station, the castle and the nightlife area of the city. Yes, the blocks near the hotel maybe look a bit shady but I never felt any danger and didn't see anything wrong there. The restaurant next to the hotel is very good too. The staff was very cordial. The room was good, with a very good bed and a good bathroom. I felt comfortable there.

As it seems it is a problem in many Turkish hotels, the internet connection was slow and unstable sometimes. I had to rely on my mobile data connection many times. The breakfast can be better but not a big complain about it. For the price it was Ok at the end.

It was good value for money. The breakfast was fair, but it was really good value for money.

On the fifth floor we constantly struggled with wifi, which was frustrating. They did help everytime, but I needed it for important meetings. At went better at the end, but still stopped working once. I how they fix that soon. The toilet in the bathroom was also loose, but that is not too serious. Just use good contact adhesive, it really works well.

I found the employees of the hotel very helpful and kind. Although I arrived very late in the night, due to a delay with the flight, they let me check-in and helped me out with food and drinks even at that time in the night. And they were also very friendly to foreigns, which has not always been the case for me in other hotels in the neighbourhood. So I definitely recommend Tac Otel as place to stay for your staying in Ankara in the center of the city.

Hotel manager could speak English. I ate breakfast without reservation, it costs 15 Lira without reservation but not so bad, there are a lot of preparations. Staff asked me to give higher rate to this hotel, very friendly and very easy to ask whatever you want (for example: information about how to watch TV or request for washed towels etc.) by fixed phone from room. But I recommend you to prepare Google translate on your mobile phone with voice translation. You can find internet cafe in front of this hotel, supermarket is also very near.

Maybe it's a common problem in Turkey but I recommend you to put scotch tapes on all windows and doors during your sleeping, because I found my tapes came instack from a window and my money had reduced about 200 Lira from my wallet during my sleeping. With scotch tapes, you can find the exact door or window thief slips in during your sleeping.

Staff helpful and pleasant in the hotel (same doesn’t apply to the associated restaurant opposite). Clean room. Quiet when window to main street closed. Comfortable bed. Some interesting old items displayed around the hotel.

The WiFi is abysmal. Both routers seem to bounce up and down and the signal strength from both (tac5 and tac6) is weak. Some travellers don’t have mobile data available, so rely on reasonably decent WiFi when it’s advertised as being available.

Staff were very friendly despite our language differences. Also a light Turkish breakfast was provided daily along with tea and coffee. In walking distance of the metro.

Minor thing but they would not let my family member visit me up in the room.

I like the view from my room , can see walking people and moving cars, also the resturant view remmber me the same view in my Berlin travel with rain ning times ,the staff lovely with kind smile and helpfull, clean room all time, and near the market, taxi station and all you need in almost travels.

Unfortunately only a receptionist (a woman one, I forgot her name) could speak in English - so the communication was a bit disrupted even though eventually they did the best they could to understand and have them understood

Very cozy and quiet hotel in the middle of noisy area, everything nearby , variety of shops , supermarkets, cafes, pharmacies, bus stops, very reasonable price, comfortable bed, big spacious balcony (upper floor) good Wi-Fi signal , thanks for very nice stuff, welcoming and assistance were really so nice🤗🤗. All my request were immediately done. Thanks for such hospitality and nice service 🙌.

Tac hotel is located in Ulus neighborhood, very vibrant area and can be reach easily by bus on the way from airport. I got a good and spacious room. Staff were super polite, considerate and caring. Breakfast was fair but delicious tee was always available. All in all great value for the money.
