Had an amazing stay at the Spor hotel, the staffs were just amazing. Special mention to the Manager who always checked how we were doing and if we needed anything to make it a better experience. The cleaning staffs were great, always around to check if we needed anything changed or cleaned. The breakfast was good, and the staffs at the restaurant were great. Special mention to the Manager, as he facilitated us to stay late in the waiting lounge after the checkout for several hours as our flight was very late at night.

All amazing with the hotel but heard from others that the location was not the safest to stay. We were on our toes as we did experience a couple of scary incidents while out in the town but nothing to do with the hotel.

Location: You can reach the public transits (bus, subway, taxi) with 5 minutes walk. There were multiple markets and restaurants around hotel. Cleanliness: All thing was pretty great. Staff: Almost all very friendly, specially Emrullah who speaks English well and was very helpful. Breakfast: It was consisted of eggs, vegetables, cheeses, salami and..., I liked it. Value: Highly Recommended!

Internet Wi-Fi speed remind me the "Dial-up Internet" era (if you know what I'm talking about) that you couldn't do anything in most of the times.

Cleaning is spotless. Staff is excellent.My taxi driver couldn’t understand location though it’s main and easy so I connected him to hotel manager and he guided. Reception lady and hotel manager came out to greet me and also bid me goodbye when I was leaving on checkout day. Very cooperative with late check out and luggage storage. Breakfast was okay. Location is excellent and convenient for public transport and metro and sightseeing.

In the night you might see some shady drunk people in the area but it’s safe overall. Bathing area in washroom was too small.

Spor Otel offers a place where you can experience Turkish hospitality. This is an older hotel without fuzz, but what it offers is attentive staff that is ready to help you in any way they can, a proper Turkish breakfast, and rooms with a comfortable bed. All this at walking distance from supermarkets, local eateries, and Ulus metro station. Excellent value for money.

The bathrooms could use an upgrade with new shower curtains and toilet lids. WiFi isn't always stable.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Lication is also very good. Very good breakfast with changes everyday! Specially, the reception staff was excellent everytime smile on their face. Rooms were super clean, everday housekeeping cleaning it again and again. They were eager to help in anyway possible! Even outbof thie business. 10/10 from my side... I will definitely stay again here...

There is nothing that I didn't like only the Wifi had some small issues, hope they can improve, as I am a Telekom Engineer and saw their wifi routers and access points, so I suggest them changing it, they are very small and covers less range of distance and it can't push the signal through out the walls....

The hotel felt more like a home to me. The staff working over there were very kind and hospitable people. All my requests and demands were kept in check. The hotel room was nice and clean. The bathroom had 24 hour 7 hot water. Also, the breakfast served in the morning is good, healthy and nutritious. It has both vegetarian and non- vegetarian options. And, the location is also amazing. It's in the main city area.

WiFi not so good

The hotel is located in the best possible place. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. The best you can get for this price.

The place is build to be luxury hotel. It gives you that luxury vibe but they didn't renovated anything since 1960. All the furniture everything is luxury but it's all from 1960's. It seems like a renovation is needed. But if you want to feel like you time traveled that might not be a minus.

The room is comfortable, the staff is really friendly and helpful. The location is great and has easy access anywhere. If you need to go to a restaurant or minimarket you just need to go downstairs. Very convenient.

The only thing they can improve is the cleanliness, the room was a little bit dusty. It was a little bit noisy from outside.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service.
