The breakfast was great! Amazing selection of food and eggs are freshly made in front of you. The staff were really polite and accommodating - both breakfast and reception!! It's tricky to find english speakers, so it was helpful that the receptionists were able to speak English with us. They gave us tips on where to visit and also helped us with the small things like ordering a cab or ordering food. A special thank you to the amazing reception crew RASUL, TARIK, CAN & METEHAN. These men will be the reason that we return at Almina hotel. We highly recommend this hotel!

Sultanahmet area is overwhelming in terms of how many hotels there are, but Almina Guest House really had very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. excellent location, great facilities and easy access the iconic old city attractions like The Blue Mosque and Hayasofia. Delicious breakfast buffet on the rooftop terrace. My 6 night stay was really comfortable. Almina really cares about their guests and their reputation.

It was super cozy. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Perfect location. Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, Blue Mosque, etc all tourist spots are just around the corner. Restaurants are literally everywhere!

It is situated beside roads, sometimes you woke up from the sound of the cars. Advise to travellers - better to have a backpack instead of roller luggage when you are travelling using public transportation. the roads in Istanbul are not even and hilly.

Very good location. Rooftop breakfast area. Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Mahmut and Laila who work in the breakfast area. Everyone was eager to please. Nazli, daytime receptionist, was very helpful and always greeted with a friendly smile.

The cleaning could be a little more thorough. The bath products could be better quality. They could offer free water daily instead of trying to make money by overcharging for little bottles of water that cost nothing. The same goes for charging an extra 5 Euros for a scrambled egg. This doesn’t make business sense and just irritates guests. The tattooed evening reception guy could be friendlier.

The location is good, it is quiet there, but at the same time you can find restaurants near the hotel, markets and Hagia Sophia and Basillica Cistern). We lived in the room of the main building on the 2nd floor. The room is cozy, it was cleaned every day. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and various. The restaurant of the hotel is located on the last floor and during breakfasts we had a very beautiful view of Bosfor. We paid by cash in USD, as they told they accept USD, EUR, TRY.

The hotel is located near railway, you can hear the sound of the trains, but it didn’t disturb me and my husband.

Very accommodating and extremely helpful especially since it’s my first time traveling with my wife for our honeymoon. Breakfast available for free and great recommendations for activities to do around istanbul/turkey. Rooms is comfortable and beautiful. Russlle is the best most helpful and kindest staff of them all. Every staff was great but Russlle was most indeed helpful for me.

The room was nice and clean and not noisy at night. Unlike most hotels in the area, this hotel is located in a quiet part of the neighborhood. Above all, the staff was awesome and the excursions (boat + bus) they proposed to us were definitely worth it, it’s not a scam at all! The staff was also always available though we did not have much to ask from them.

i booked the hotel for my Mum and her friend. they said it was great stay. property was clean and location was perfect. but the best thing was staff. excellent service. never seen service like that. they have done million things during our stay with a big smile on face. thank you very much. 10 star service.

The staff is super friendly. They are very gracious and helpful. Five stars for the staff. They will do what they can to take care of you! It’s in a perfect location, you can walk to everything, and it’s was a very comfortable stay.

Our first room had some issues which they tried to correct with a new room but no rooms met with our satisfaction. The rooms are nice, but no room is perfect. Every room we were shown seems to have one little thing that’s inconvenient here or there. For a month long stay, I would say our biggest problem was places to store things. Otherwise, the rooms are nice and comfortable. The only other concern, we wish they would have varied their breakfast menu more often. After one month, eating the same food over and over again got boring. We started going out for breakfast.

Nice hotel with an amazing view from the Brekfast terrace, brekfast was varied and fresh, beds were comfortable and the front desk officer Nazleh was so kind to upgrade our rooms to a spacious one

Location was close to sightseeing but a bit far from shopping areas and Taksim, we spent long hours in traffic as we were there during the Bayram holidays, there were nice photos of a roof top terrace where you can relax in the afternoon or have a drink in the evening but it was not open which was disappointing, as i usually book hotels with terraces only to enjoy nice views
