The staff is amazing, very nice and attentive guys. The breakfast is just amazing, all Turkish traditional food and there was even a chocolate Fontaine! A part of it the staff offered us a fresh omelette and Turkish coffee. Good location, close to the center.

Feels that hotels facilities are already old. The shower, bathroom seemed old, the hair dryer didn’t work. But everything was clean. In spite of the fact that the street is closed to the blue mosque, it is pretty quiet and dark, so I wouldn’t walk there alone in the late evening.

The hotel is in a good place. There are a lot of areas to stroll across near the hotel. Be alert of a pitfall I was not aware of - the restaurants near the hotel are way too expensive! It is a good idea to take a tram ride to İstiklal Avenue and eat there - it will be tastier and less expensive. The hotel provides a good breakfast, the room is well decorated, and the beds are soft and large, I also liked the shower because of its great rainfall shower head. The staff is very nice and smiley. The room lacks free space, but judging by the architecture of the city I think that other hotels in this area have the same disadvantage. Anyway, there is enough space for two people.

The bad thing was that the room service was not good enough. They didn't vacuum clean the floor.

Very convenient location. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. They helped with all arrangements, any last minute questions as well.

The only thing is that I wish the bathrooms were bigger. But I think all hotels in the area are similar as they are in the older part of the city

The hotel is located very close to the Sultanahmet area (aprox. 10 min walk) where you have some touristic attractions, lot s of restaurants to choose from as well as many shops. The area is very quiet and safe. There are some hilly streets in order to get to the hotel, this was not a problem for us, but just for people to know. The room was very clean and modern, the bed very comfortable, as well as the bathroom (a little to small I would say but it has everything you need and very hot shower). The personnel is very friendly and helpful at any time (I've asked for an iron and they provided it immediately as well as a scale for the luggage when we left). They have also breakfast with a large variety to choose from and it's very delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and definitely recommend it.

There was a venting outside the balcony in the room we stayed and in the night it was kind of noisy. I used earplugs and I slept very well, but this might not apply to everyone.

The staff at reception were great. Accommodated our special requests and helped us out with an international power adapter for us to be able to charge our phones and laptop.

While located close to the water, it is a bit of a hike uphill to get to the tram and the main attractions. Due to the road in front of the hotel being so narrow, taxis do not frequent the road. Group tours booked required us to walk up the road to be picked up as the road was too narrow for the tour bus to pick us from the hotel.

Very nice stay - a few minutes walk to the Blue Mosque. Very tasty breakfast with a big variety (: Bed was suuuuper comfortable! 24 hour reception worked perfectly!

Could be cleaned a little better & the room we had had a balcony to a construction site. There also has been construction noises.

No place to hang thick heavy winter coats/jackets/scarves. The wardrobe is not suitable/enough for 3 people's.

Great location near top attractions, yet the street was tranquil. Everyone on the staff was friendly, knowledgable and very welcoming. Our room was very comfortable with great light, modern bathroom and very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was delicious and abundant--it had something for everyone. The internet worked perfectly. The room and the entire property were very clean and well-maintained. Excellent value. I highly recommend the Obahan!

The hotel is in a very good location, a quiet street about 5 minutes walk from the main tourist attractions such as Modra Mosque, Topkapi Palace etc. The room is reasonably spacious, well equipped and clean. There are also smaller shops within easy reach of the hotel where you can shop until late at night. Restaurants are literally around the corner. If you want to spend most of your time outdoors, this is a great choice. The staff is very persistent, I recommend to consult with them about planned trips, they always gave me good advice and arranged for example a SIM card of a local operator or a ticket for local public transport.

The sound insulation between the entrance door to the room and the corridor could be better. Overall hoetl offers very good value for money.

Mohammad (on reception) has excellent English & was extremely helpful & pleasant to deal with Other staff also very pleasant, but not all were as fluent with English, but all tried hard to please. The breakfast was amazing..huge selections of fresh fruit, hot & cold savoury dishes, cakes, breads & pastries....even a chocolate fountain for pancakes!! Our room was a great size, WiFi worked v well, & it was usually quiet Location was great for getting to all the 'must sees' in Istanbul...whether just on foot or using public transport as well

Some guests were noisy on stairs at late hours, but not too bad Not the fault of hotel, but there are a lot of 'hawkers' en route to some of the must sees...no matter how many times in a day you go past, you still get hassled
