Everything is perfect. First of all, the hotel is very beautiful, authentic, cozy, and comfortable. Everything is exceptionally clean, peaceful, well-organized, and attention is paid to every detail. The host is wonderful—a kind and honest man to whom we owe immense gratitude for everything. He thought of every detail and is always at our service. He is exceptionally polite and pleasant. The hotel is located in a perfect spot, very close to all major attractions, yet in a quiet part of the Old Town. Nearby, there are markets, spa centers, restaurants, boutiques, and everything one might need. The room was spacious and had everything necessary. We especially loved that the bathroom was fully equipped with everything one might need: shaving kits, toothbrushes and toothpaste, sewing kits, shampoos, conditioners, soaps, cotton swabs, nail files, shower caps, shoe cleaning kits, and even exfoliating gloves. Truly impressive—it’s clear that the service is at the highest level. We were welcomed with tea, coffee, and water, and the host was always there to answer any question and make us feel at home. The bed and pillows are comfortable, there is plenty of storage space, and the bathroom is large and spacious. Absolutely nothing was missing. We loved everything and will definitely return. Once again, thank you for everything—we can say that the accommodation and the host left us with the best impression of our entire visit to Istanbul.

Fantastic little hotel just 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and with great restaurants just round the corner. Our room was huge - quite different from reviews of other hotels in old Istanbul and our host Alper was amazingly friendly. Breakfast was a large pre-prepated platter - see picture - but we were also offered omelettes. Overall we fealt the hotel was amazing and set us up for a fantastic stay in Istanbul.

Not really a negative for us but worth mentioning that the hotel was right next to the railway line and although trains could be heard passing, they were quite infrequent and didn't affect our sleep.

We had a wonderful couple of days here at the end of December. I would like to highlight a few things about the accommodation: First of all, I would like to mention the location of the hotel: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque about 10 minutes walk. Grand Bazaar maximum 20-25 minutes walk. There are many restaurants nearby, our favourite, less popular restaurant was also a 10 min walk. Supermarkets, shops are also a few minutes walk away. The second point is the cleanliness of the room. Perfect cleanliness, attention to every little detail, high five to the staff. The third and most important point is Alper, who works tirelessly day and night to keep his guests happy. Thank you for your work and help, the White palace Hotel would not be the same without you.

Besides the excellent breakfast, the manager, Alper, went far beyond the call of duty to meet my needs. He even was up for my departure from the hotel at 3 a.m., just to make sure my ride showed up and I managed to get away. Truly exceptional service for which I was most grateful. The room was large, clean with lots of hot water and a huge bed that was very comfortable. A pleasure to stay there!

This has nothing to do with the hotel but after walking to a downtown part of Istanbul, I got confused when walking back, having to inquire at a number of other hotels to set me off in the right direction. The second time I did the walk I was much more observant and all was well!

no doubt, i like everything about this place. the room is very very clean and well arranged. you will also find many amenities in the bathroom. this place is just so warm and comfy. moreover, i really like the hospitality here. i can say, this is really one of a kind. i travelled solo and i didnt feel like I was alone. in the afternoon or night, I had chit chat with Alper and he thought me the Turkish culture which I liked to learn. my special thanks to Alper for your kindness and everything. you really help me in so many ways. to whoever read my review, this place is gonna be your best decision to make. and for sure, i would love to be back and stay again in this place 🤍

It is small private hotel. OUr room was on the top floor so we had to climb steep stairs. But I enjoyed it because the view from the room was very good - you could see Blue Mosque right out of the window. Also good restaurants were walking distance from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helped us with Taxi back to the airport. This hotel felt like home for our 4 days in Istanbul. Thank you!

Old city Istanbul has essentially no pedestrian walkways so you need to be on alert about cars constantly. It is obviously not a complaint about property, but something to be aware for new visitors.

Many details are considered. You can find anything that you may need in the room. I liked it very much. Our stay did not include breakfast, hence my grading doesn't include it. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is comfy and is bigger than many others in the district. The hotel serves beyond its price. Cleaning is perfect too. Location is pretty good, close to the Sultanahmet Mosque. We stayed in the winter time. The room is warm even without running the heater.

The room was beautiful and tidy, with a very nice decoration and an ultra comfortable bed. The location is amazing as it is located very close to Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque among other important landmarks, but even if located in such a central area, the hotel is super quiet and safe. Breakfast was very good and abundant! Even if a could continue listing good things about the hotel services and infrastructure, what really stands out and the reason why I would recommend this hotel to everybody is the service from Alper and the girls working in the kitchen and cleaning. They go above and beyond to help, make sure you have everything you need and make the most of the time you spend in Istanbul. Alper will make sure you feel welcomed and will help way above what is standard in the hotel industry. That is something very special that you won't find everywhere, but here you certainly will!

I had an absolutely delightful stay at White Palace Old City Boutique Hotel! The charm of this beautiful boutique hotel is truly unmatched. The splendid location added an extra layer of magic to our experience, allowing us to explore the old city with ease. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional hospitality provided by the staff, particularly Alper. His attention to detail and warm demeanor made our stay truly memorable. A heartfelt thank you to Alper and the entire team for creating a wonderful atmosphere that made us feel right at home. I highly recommend White Palace to anyone seeking a perfect blend of luxury, charm, and impeccable service.

It was a short walk (uphill) to many of the main sites. It was also an easy walk along a bike path to the train station leading to Sirkeci station ( 1 stop). Alpes, the owner, was very helpful. We checked in early and he made special arrangements to allow us to keep our luggage there until our late night departure. He welcomed us with tea and a smile. We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and large. We loved the sitting area.
