no doubt, i like everything about this place. the room is very very clean and well arranged. you will also find many amenities in the bathroom. this place is just so warm and comfy. moreover, i really like the hospitality here. i can say, this is really one of a kind. i travelled solo and i didnt feel like I was alone. in the afternoon or night, I had chit chat with Alper and he thought me the Turkish culture which I liked to learn. my special thanks to Alper for your kindness and everything. you really help me in so many ways. to whoever read my review, this place is gonna be your best decision to make. and for sure, i would love to be back and stay again in this place 🤍

nothing. everything was soooo perfect!

It is small private hotel. OUr room was on the top floor so we had to climb steep stairs. But I enjoyed it because the view from the room was very good - you could see Blue Mosque right out of the window. Also good restaurants were walking distance from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helped us with Taxi back to the airport. This hotel felt like home for our 4 days in Istanbul. Thank you!

Old city Istanbul has essentially no pedestrian walkways so you need to be on alert about cars constantly. It is obviously not a complaint about property, but something to be aware for new visitors.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at White Palace Old City Boutique Hotel! The charm of this beautiful boutique hotel is truly unmatched. The splendid location added an extra layer of magic to our experience, allowing us to explore the old city with ease. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional hospitality provided by the staff, particularly Alper. His attention to detail and warm demeanor made our stay truly memorable. A heartfelt thank you to Alper and the entire team for creating a wonderful atmosphere that made us feel right at home. I highly recommend White Palace to anyone seeking a perfect blend of luxury, charm, and impeccable service.

The room was beautiful and tidy, with a very nice decoration and an ultra comfortable bed. The location is amazing as it is located very close to Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque among other important landmarks, but even if located in such a central area, the hotel is super quiet and safe. Breakfast was very good and abundant! Even if a could continue listing good things about the hotel services and infrastructure, what really stands out and the reason why I would recommend this hotel to everybody is the service from Alper and the girls working in the kitchen and cleaning. They go above and beyond to help, make sure you have everything you need and make the most of the time you spend in Istanbul. Alper will make sure you feel welcomed and will help way above what is standard in the hotel industry. That is something very special that you won't find everywhere, but here you certainly will!

Nothing to say, everything was wonderful!

Our stay was really nice! Cosy, clean, big room with all necessary facilities, well equipped bathroom, excellent big breakfast. Соmplimentary bottles of water every day. The hairdryer was blowing well. Accurate transfer from and to airport, very reliable, highly recommended. The place is very convenient: 4 min from the Sea of Marmara, 7 min from Blue Mosque, a few really good restaurants nearby, very quiet. There was a fantastic smell of history in the room, not musty, but nobility! And the building itself is not a modern impersonal building but a mansion with history and character. Alper, our sincerest gratitude for your hospitality and feeling that we were at home !

- it would be better to have a blanket instead of thick sheet - the bathroom in our room was very small, not a problem for us, but for a large size person could be.

Alper was a fantastic host. Away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was amazing. Rooms spacious and very comfortable. This was a little find on booking.com. Nothing first class boutique hotel.

We used the hotel’s airport transfer which was very smooth and easy to get. A warm welcome from Alper demonstrated great Turkish hospitality that continued throughout our stay (6 nights). Close to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and lovely neighbourhood to stay in. Felt completely safe at all times when on my own. The building is beautiful and kept spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

This is a unique property. It’s an old house that has been fully fitted to be comfortably used as a hotel. It the perfect mix of character and comfort, and the staff is courteous and helpful.

Alper was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel at home in Istanbul. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful and the room was very comfortable, with all the facilities we needed. The location was perfect for getting to the main sites of Sultanahmet and there were plenty of decent restaurants nearby.

The hotel, and our room in particular, backed straight on to a train line so the trains disturbed us a little bit. However, they were not as loud as the call to prayer!

Alper was the supreme host - nothing was too much trouble. From arranging boat tours, hamman visit, recommending nearby restaurants, airport taxi’s etc. to suggestions of unusual places to visit, he was superb. The ladies who served a wonderfully varied and hearty breakfast were also amazing. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, heated or air-conditioned, with comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel is within the old town and a 10 minute walk from shops, restaurants, and all the major tourist spots - uphill but we are in our 60’s and had no problems. A close downhill 5 minute walk brings you to the shore of the sea of Marmara and some very nice up-market fish restaurants.

Nothing could’ve been better, but it is worth remembering you are in the old city, so the call to prayer, traffic, and people mean it is bustling 24 hours. There are stairs to most rooms in the hotel, and it is uphill on cobbled streets so not really suitable for less-abled travellers.
