The staff at the hotel and restaurant are so very friendly that we were really pleased. All compliments! The hotel is nice, the rooms are quite clean, the wifi in the room is a bit poor at times, but they have their own wifi upstairs in the restaurant which works great. Our room didn't have a good view so we spent the evenings on the terrace, which has a beautiful view. Breakfast was solid, variety of food available, food in the restaurant not bad either. The restaurant manager is very friendly, greetings from Ljubljana to all the staff!

Location was excellent, some really good shops and food places really close by.The staff were all very helpful and helped straight away with anything that needed doing.Breakfast had a nice variety of food that we enjoyed alot.The hotel was always neat and clean.Me and my family were very happy with the hotel overall,thankyou Darkhill you really made our holiday in Istanbul enjoyable.

the employees were very friendly, the hotel was less than one minute from a tram station that took you to Sulthanamat, and a 5 min walk from bigger metro stations that brought you everywhere! overall I really enjoyed my stay and would possibly come back hete next time I visit!

although the breakfast was great, I would have liked a little better coffee in the morning ;)! luckily the breakfast was nice, and you could get good coffee close-by.

It was nice and clean. The tram is right outside the hotel so this was really good as we could around the city without having to pay for mini cabs.

We had a short 2 day trip so we were out and didn’t really use the hotel that much facilities. The swimming pool is not Muslim friendly meaning there is no modest dressing.

Great location, helpful if disinterested staff. Exceeded expectations, although pool was closed for 3 out of 4 days, it was cold and you had to buy a US$2 bathing cap. And the Turkish bath, while splendid, was rather dirty. Steam Room wasn't working the entire 4 day stay. Great breakfast despite other reviews: excellent coffee, variety of foods, constantly replenished and cleaned, outstanding sea views.

Room ensuite bathroom looked great but was quite dirty, especially the shower.

I had low expectations of this hotel after reading reviews But our stay was pleasant (please update website with recent photos so people can see when booking) Good breakfast Indoor pool (water cold though) Spa and massage facilities available (bit expensive though) It’s in a very good location. Tram on the door step so it doesn’t take very long to get to attractions/bazaar/mosques

was hard to communicate with hotel staff as most did not speak English so requesting things like extra pillows or a duvet was difficult.. we got pillows after a few days but the extra duvet for the third bed in room never came. breakfast wasn’t great.. we tried once but not a lot on offer so decided to eat out.. lucky for us that Istanbul is massive on food

I really like the breakfast. Everything was fresh and good.

The pool. On my eyes and my friends the pool was dirt. They said we could only use the pool with a cap. So we all had to buy it. And the hat was rubbish, it was made of cloth and was small. Conclusion they will only eat our money.

everything is amazing good from family (kids), everyone is friendly and welcoming.

The location was excellent. it’s very close to the tram station and is within easy walking distance of all the tourist attractions.

limited breakfast facility. having the pool next to the massage facility was not ideal as spa staff were constantly telling the children to be quiet.
