A small cozy hotel is located in a walking distance from main sightseeings in Sultanahmet area. There is no elevator, but staff is always happy to help with your luggage. We had only carry-on luggage so no problems for us with upper floor. More details: 1. Room - Our room was cozy enough for 2 (3rd floor, see view, no balcony). The beds were comfortable enough and at the end of our stay, the hotel management were in the process to change all mattresses. So future guests will have completely new beds; - shower was OK (don't expect really hot water, just warm enough), shower conrner near toilet is leaking but bathroom gets dry in a few hours, so no mess in general. But dear staff, please, replace the waterproofing around the perimeter of the shower; - toilet is walking, toiletries are replenished. If you are out of anything just request; - windows are not soundproofed and remember it's an old building in the old city. If you need 100% silence, this hotel is not for you or take earplugs. The hotel is not far from mosques so you will hear sounds if you sleep not very well. 2. Breakfast Breakfast is good enough. Don't expect luxurious food. Just basic food (hot and cold). It was enough to feel full for a long time (eggs, cheese, sausages, cucumbers, tomatos, fries, etc.) 3. Surroundings We felt safe even during night time. The old black wooden building we considered as a plus, it helps in navigation: when you see this building you know Your hotel is around the corner so you don't even need your google maps. A nice place to eat is just arround the corner as well (with good prices and comfy food) -Özlem Karadeniz Pide Kebap Salonu. In general, for us combination of location/ price/ cleaning worked well, so we would recommend the hotel to our friends.

Starting from the airport transfer, everything was properly taken care of. I was quite anxious as it was my first time in Istanbul and also I landed 2330 with my missus and 3 kids. But, I was put at ease. I met the hotel transfer team outside the arrivals, and he helped me board the 11-seater. The only issue with the driver was that he could not find the hotel at first, and he was going circles for 5 minutes. Eventually, we found the hotel after speaking with the reception staff, Ismail. I liked the location to start off with. It's just a 5-minute walk from Aya Sofia Mosque, Blue Mosque. Suleimaniye Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and Spice Bazaar were also walkable. T1 tram station is just 5 minutes walk to explore Istanbul. The Staffs Jumma, Hafiz, Ismail were superb and very helpful. Special mention to Alim (Hotel Owner) who was a gem and great guy. He was very helpful as well and he took care of airport transfers. Breakfast was very good and had a good variety and we enjoyed our stay at Ersari. The air condition in my room was not upto scratch on my first night stay and I was a bit uncomfortable for few nights and the staff sorted it out quickly. Apart from that, everything was great.

Nice hotel, Turkish-style interior, but at the same time there are light colors of room. The bed linen and towels are white. Slippers for each guest. The rooms have a mini-refrigerator, a kettle (and cups, tea, coffee, sugar), a safe in the closet, night lights on the bedside tables, TV on table desk. In the bathroom there is a hairdryer, liquid soap, toilet paper and shampoo. There are no problems with hot water! :) At the end of October in the room was a great temperature: not cold and nor hot. The balcony is great! The view from the 2nd floor is beautiful, but the sea is poorly visible because of the trees, but from the 4th floor the view is simply amazing!!! We fed the seagulls right on the balcony :) Delicious Breakfast (buffet): omelet with tomatoes and paprika (if it finished, ask, and one more will cook for you), tortilla, sausages, sausage, 4 types of cheese, bread (fresh and soft), olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, boiled eggs, 3 types of muesli, milk, jams, nutella, butter, cake, fruits (apples, pears, grapes, tangerines), tea, coffee, milk, juice. The bed and pillows are comfortable. We slept like babies)) The staff are very friendly and helpful guys, they speak English. They help to navigate the city, order a taxi, pick up baggage. The location is excellent: 5 min walk to the Cistern “Feodosiya”, 5 min walk to Sultanahmet Square, 7 min to the tram (Chamberlitash) and 8 to the Grand Bazar (Grand Market), also 3 min there are shops, cafes and a pharmacy. Most of the attractions are within walking distance.

The room is lovely sitting out on the balcony where the view is divine! Once using the aircon was sorted the room was great! This is a family run business and all the staff were eager to please and very helpful finding places and the best things to see and do. As a family business you only need to ask staff for whatever you need. Be prepared there are three levels of stairs and the surrounding area is steep and our penthouse room was on the top floor with amazing sweeping views. Breakfast is provided and it is downstairs the floor below reception. The only 'downside' were the first and last calls to prayer but if your balcony door is shut it's not loud. Overall I would recommend this beautiful place as somewhere relaxing to base yourself in Istanbul.

Taxis were reluctant to pickup here for shorter distances. But this is not a fault of the Ersari Hotel.

Our stay has been great! The hotel is just ten minutes walk from the famous mosques and grand bazar; the room was comfortable and we could get access to the outside lounge straight from our room where we could smoke. The breakfast is delicious, mostly savoury, and freshly cooked every morning. A special thanks to the main receptionist, he has been really nice and helpful in every possible way, he really made our stay easier!

Unfortunately the wifi signal was poor and it could be an inconvenience if you can't use your own roaming.

Great Breakfast and well located to visit the Hippodrome, blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and great Bazaar.

Ther was quite some Mould in the shower in the corners. The rest was very clean, though.

It is 3 star 🌟 Hotel but facilities, services and breakfast was like 5 star 🌟 I have been France Germany, Holland and many other countries but here staff are very helpful I didn't have any problem they guided me a lot even I never needed to book taxi for all visits and airport as they very kindly did it for me. I have been very comfortable and enjoyed. Very good value very economical. Definitely recommend.

I liked everything. There was nothing to say I didn't like.

We really like the staff at the reception. They are so supportive and friendly. The first day we arrived at the hotel was 2:00 am and they were really patient answering all our questions and give suggestions on our traveling. And the day I left, I lost my airpods in the room but the staff helped me find it and kept for me. We didn't understand the local language so they help us communicate the price with the taxi driver. Overall, they were acting friendly, professional and honestly. I wouldn't hesitate to leave here again if visit Istanbul in the future.

We are talking about an excellent "value for money" hotel with unbelievably kind staff. The room had an every day cleaning policy, so we had no worries about full toilet bags or toilet paper. Breakfast was more than enough to keep you energized, for hours ahead. Staff was great, the reception was at 24/7 duration and the view from our room was also superb. There were also a few parking places nearby - you have to pay for and there is a 24h security staff - for whom Ersari Hotel's personnel informed us. In particular, we - by chance - found a car lot on the street, charge-free and hotel's staff checked whether or not we had to move the car on a safer place, given the fact that we would not move it during our whole stay. They also helped us carry the luggages up to our room and were always eager to offer extra bottles of water, in case we had drunk it.

The only thing we didn't like was the "soundproof-less" of the room, which however didn't bother us that much. Only during the first night, where their priest had us awake some kind violently at 05.30 in the morning, which is a thing you have to respect. Then we got used to it and there was no problem.

Great location, wonderful room, very nice people! The hotel is just few minutes away walking distance from Blue Mosk and Grand Bazaar. 2 min away walking distance from restaurants and shops. You cannot choose a better hotel, as you have everything you need: a good location Close to the main attaractions, not expensive, great people, confortable room with wonderful view, great breakfast - I strongly recommend this hotel!
