Breakfast was average. Same plate layout each day. Then option to add boiled egg or chips.

Staff were very excellent. 5 star to them. Rooms very comfortable, only problem was even though marked direction of prayer (for Muslim), when in room there were paintings with images hanging on wall and difficult to cover. So perhaps have alternatives hanging on wall - for that I say 4 star. I was also mislead on description as it said for an extra £6 per person, dinner and lunch available. No such service was available, only breakfast - 2 star on that as at times when very tired had to venture out evenings get food. Neither did we have rooms with city view as described, we faced concrete blocks opposite. So 2 star for false description. Ease of public transport and food places where within few minutes walking distance-so that helped. A

The hotel had lots of character & the situation was excellent. The rooms were basic, but clean & comfortable. The staff were very nice & helpful.

The breakfast is a bit limited, but that's the way it works in Istanbul. The important thing is it was tasty! Hotel is close to some restaurants and a big outlet also with food options. Close to public transfer. Nice and spacious lobby and convenience spaces.

The room was really small, and no sound proof at all (I could hear my neighbor snoring hahaha). If you don't have noisy neighbors, it's not a real issue, otherwise you'll hear everything they do, including using the toilet.

Everything went well. Staff were friendly, hotel is clean and I didn't feel unsafe there as a female solo traveler. Breakfast was good too! The hotel is a bit far from the city center and all the attractions, but that's not an issue if you don't mind using public transportation (efficient and cheap). Also, if you walk around the neighborhood, you will find nice cafes, hotels and restaurants just accross the street (bridge) from Starcity.. Overall very good value for the money

The hotel is really nice for a 2 star hotel. Breakfast was really nice and set us up for the day. Restaurant staff were really friendly. Walking distance to the shopping centre and coffee shops. We really enjoyed the hotel. A 45-minute drive to the city during traffic. An excellent choice for the price. The room was cleaned daily. And water bottles were left in the room daily. Having a laundry in the hotel was handy. And the game room was fun.

I didn't like that there was no mini fridge in the room. Luckily, I was there in winter. And everything that needed a fridge was left on the veranda.

The view from the balcony was nice, the place was very beautiful and the air-conditioning in the room was awesome aswell. Room service cleaned my room nicely and you get some water bottle in the room daily.

Be aware that istanbul is huuuge. I didn't realize that and thought I was in the middle of the city with this hotel, but it's far away from metro stops and you'll lose some time transferring to the city centrum if you want to see the sights.

Clean. Everyday room was being cleaned, and things changed. Kind staff. Cool location, there are plenty restaurants and cafe nearby and the huge mall as well. Cozy room, everything worked.

The big problem is the stairs. There is no easy way to get to the elevator with luggage. You have to lift it through the stairs

The laundry was super cheap. The hotel was clean and comfy. There's a parking space! There were nearby shops, restaurants, and a mall, where you can buy everything you need.

During the 1st night, we came late, and received rooms with no toilet trees and towels, thus we needed to request, and was given the next day. Location was not near to tourist center such as Blue Mosque. It was difficult for the luggage as you have to come through stairs before reaching the elevator. Breakfast was ok, not really great.
