It was totally refurbished, the room was very clean and they were cleaning it every day. The staff barely speaks English, but they were very nice, the location is in the middle of the historic center which has advantages and disadvantages, but overall everything was in eaking distance so it was nice.

I have two comments. The hotel is right next to a mosque, so we have woken up around 4.30 AM every day to the first prayer, I think this could be a problem with every hotel in the historic center but consider this before booking if you are not coming from an islamic country. The second thing that the hotel recomended us an airport transfer from Istanbul (IST) airport for 40€ and even though I have reserved it in advance the company of the taxi service was in massive caos at the airport and we have waited 1 hour (!!!) to the taxi, it was very disappointing as we could easily find a taxi at the airport for 15€, I dont recommend to choose their airport tranfer

I travelled between alot of countries around the world and this hotel is the best stay for me between all the hotels which I reserved before. The staff is more than kind and cooperative, the place is very safe and nice and you will feel that when you stay there. I will back again for sure.

Location was just amazing, especially if you're there to visit the Tourist Attractions. Little Hagia Sophia just next door! 5 minutes walk to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Place was furbished nicely, and the rooftop balcony made a nice addition if you want to capture sunrise and sunset photos. Friendly and helpful owner, who allowed us to store our luggage after we checked out.

Room was small. AC was not effective at warming the room on a few rainy days (So room was continously cold). Bathroom looked better on photos than in reality and was poorly ventilated. Shower took some time to warm up. Although location is great, its difficult to get public transport to the Airport unless you are using a Taxi.

The hotel is very-well located, you can get to a lot of places on foot (which is great because Istambul public transport is not so good). The room is big and very clean, with a big comfortable bed, and a clean and well-equipped bathroom, and it also has a nice preserved architecture.

That was no option to avoid room cleaners, which takes away some privacy. The communication with the staff also could improve a bit, when we asked about some services that were described in the booking advertisement the answers were a bit vague without specific information of the duration, and despite not being their obligation, would be nice if they would give some warnings about the city like being careful with taxis overprice and the major preference for paper currency.

rooms look much bigger on pictures, when you get there it’s a super tiny place with very little room to get around.

Location just by the Little Aya Sofia Mosque. Quiet as off the main road. Nice reception staff. Got upgraded to family room no extra cost and brilliant value for money. Very clean. They do a private taxi service to and from the airports, which I recommend as its the same price the airport taxis charge. Just opposite the main entrance is a bar restaurant that sells Anatolian cuisine and the two lads that run it were really nice, they sell beer and good food. The hotel WiFi works in there too.

Only issue is if you can't walk far or you find walking up hill tricky it's not the best location as nearest public transport and the cultural sites are up hill. No problem for me though good exercise.

The Han Suite Hotel was in a great location. It wasn't in the main touristy area, so nice and more quiet yet close to everything. It is situated next to the Little Hagia Sofia, which is wonderful and one of the most important historical sites in Istanbul (google it!). You can hear the call to prayer, which is magical. The room was well-appointed and had a kettle and little fridge which was all I needed. The wifi was excellent. The staff, Orhan, was very helpful and accomodating and made the experience that much better. Thanks, Orhan!

The hotel rooms could use a thorough cleaning as some things getting a bit grungy. I had booked a room and requested a nice view, but be warned that some rooms don't even have a window and the upgraded room I had looks out onto the back courtyard which isn't that aesthetic (I didn't mind it, as it was interesting, but would have preferred a room with a view of the mosque next door and would have paid a bit more for it had I known.) Next time I know to book the suite, which has a balcony and mosque view.

Great location: next to little Hagia Sophia, near to sea side, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia - everywhere easy to walk. Nice cafes, restaurants and local shops around. Very nice room with balcony but due to weather condition during our stay couldn’t use really. From windows view for little Hagia Sophia and sea side. Bed comfy. Easy check in and check out, staff very helpful and friendly. It was our second time in this hotel- even room and hope not last one.

Nothing really major: if you want take quick shower better be patient as take while to get hot water - but that wasn’t big problem for us

Very friendly staff 24/7. The location is in a quiet street next to little Aya Sophia and a 8 minute (slightly uphill) walk from The Blue Mosque, 10 minutes to big Aya Sophia and Topkapi palace. Wifi worked great.

There's no breakfast served at the place, but that's no problem as you can find plenty of options nearby. The rooms are very small, only 2 English TV stations. There's only small signs outside, both me and my driver had to look a long time for the building. Reception is next door, again without a good sign.
