My mom and I stayed for three nights and we loved every minute of it! So cosy and comfortable. The staff, Adem and Firuzen, were so kind and lovely, we felt really welcomed. :) Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Always freshly made, with so many sweet and sour options. 12/10 in general. Perfect location: just five minutes from Aya Sofiya and Blue Mosque. Many little restaurants nearby with local food - we had dinner at one just acros the konak, excelent taste!

It is a small family run hotel. Don't expect more than this. The room has always been cleaned properly. Breakfast is good but with predominance of Turkish foods. The staf is very friendly and helpful. Near the hotel, a few steps, you will find the Little Hagia Sophia in whose courtyard you can drink thanks to the management of a small bar and some small shops, by a cultural club. The overall rating is good. From the small balcony of the room on the fourth floor a beautiful view as in the photos. Advised

Are to improve the internet connection, not always stable and mattresses now too soft.In the morning, the room smelled like the kitchen

I liked the hotels and the room of the hotel, it is so clean fresh and big room than other hotels around there where I stayed before. I would like to say something about the owner of the hotel. Mr. İsrafil always cared about us and gave us more intention. This is family managment hotel but really you feel yourself there so safe and like feeling your own house. This location is very near all beuty place where you want to go. Thank you again all of them.See you soon

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was incredible for the price, felt like a apartment in a palace with the chandeliers. Huge, clean and inviting bathroom. The windows could be opened wide for fresh air,, which is not the case in many hotels. Very tidy and clean hotel, both room breakfast area were kept very clean, unlike many other hotels. Breakfast was really nice. My girlfriend and me overslept and were still served even though the official breakfast time was over. If we go to Istanbul again, we'll definitely book their place again! The location is also great, as it's close to a lot of sightseeing attractions. 10/10 recommendation!!!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, daily room cleaning, the breakfast is traditional turkish spread (some might not like it but its perfect for me) with few variants daily, the staff were very nice and were helpful to our small requests, highly recommend it for singles and couples since it is in the heart of the historical city

room maintenance could be a little better, shower cold/hot water is not balanced

Lovely, old-fashioned hotel with nice décor. The room is comfy, tidy, and roomy. They serve a large breakfast. It's in a great spot, quiet and near the center, just a quick walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Lots of shops, cafes, baths, and restaurants are very close by, just a short walk away.

We stayed at Mataraci Konak for 23 nights and loved every second of it! The staff were extremely welcoming and always willing to help with any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, filled with local fresh ingredients and a great variety of options. The location of the hotel was perfect! Literally walking distance to all major landmarks (Hagia Sophia Mosque, SultanAhmet Mosque, Grand Bazaar etc) and had a variety of close public transport options for days we wanted to venture a little further out. We can't wait to stay at Mataraci Konak next time we ate in Istanbul! A special thanks again to all staff who made our lengthy stay extremely comfortable, they definitely feel like family after our holiday!

Location is very good close to tourists attraction's . public transport. Break fast was good.

Property it's self is old but good maintenance. Only downside for us is that we got the room in the basement which was too noisy when people were walking on the upper floor.We kept waking up in the middle of the night

The location was great, very near the Center.The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The place was tidy and they cleaned the rooms every day. Big and spacious bathroom.The breakfast was relatively good. There is a parking next to it if you travel by car(15 euros per night at the time of our stay).

The room was quite small and so were the beds. I am not a tall guy(180cm) but my feet very hanging off the side of the bed. I wish they’d let me know that this small room would be the one for me since I travel with two kids. I was surprised how they fit these beds in the room😀😀. Also the building is made of wood floors and anyone that walks anywhere or climbing stairs is heard always.

The staff was really nice and helpful and they gave us gifts while we were there and when we left which was a nice gesture on their part. Also, the hotel is really close to everything about 5-10 minutes to the city center. It was clean and confortable and the breakfast was good.

The noise can be a little loud as you can hear the people on the streets sometimes, but it is not disturbing.
