it was clean & new hotel with good facilities

location, I like a hotel to stay that when I will come out of hotel there will be some shopping or good cafes around but with this hotel we had to get a taxi to go around … base as one of the reviews it was mentioned only 5 minutes to civaher mall & 10 minutesto nisantasi but it was not like this at all … minimum 12 minutes walking to civaher mall minimum 25 minutes walking to besiktas & 20 minutes taxi ride to nisantasi … the only i didn’t like is the location

Rooms were nice and big and clean

I left €180 on my locker and the cleaner just left and there was only €160 so I got the manager and it was 'under the sofa' where tye cleaner was looking when I called her back in 🤔🤔

The property was amazing and very clean. All the staff were very professional, kind, helpful and extremely polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and I am planning to come back very soon. It was so good that I extended my stay with my family for an extra 4 nights. The breakfast buffet was lovely, wide variety of food and the staff were always on hand to serve you.

Where do I start! Melas hotel is a gem of a hotel. It’s clean and has all the amenities of a 5* hotel. But it’s people that make places! My stay was wonderful from the time I arrived till the time of departure. The location of the hotel is fairly central to get to most places in Istanbul. However, if you are a first time visitor in Istanbul and you are looking to occupy in the main tourist attractions, then you may wish to consider a hotel in the Sultanahmet or Taksim square area. But having said that, you can still commute from here within half an hour by taxi (depending on traffic which can be heavy at the most of times). But if a peaceful night sleep is necessary, then this is the place to be. Breakfast was very tasty and there was a good variety of food. If there is anything in particular you would like then that can be arranged. Once again, nothing is too much trouble. I used to have the best Turkish tea here which I’ll miss. A big thanks to Emre Zeytun and his team for their hospitality and bending over backwards. Emre, you have promised to show me the Asian side of Istanbul next time I am there so I will look forward to that. Also, a big thanks to Leyla at the reception for all her efforts. Leyla is a gem at this beautiful hotel and she will go to all lengths to help her guests with the information required. She is very friendly, helpful and a lovely person. Thank you Leyla. Everyone at the hotel makes so much effort (with a smile) that is so effortless that you don’t mind asking. There are so many people I would like to thank for contributing to the comfort of my stay but I apologise as I was unable to take the names of them all. I wish all the team here a continued success and I look forward to coming back here soon.

staff are friendly and the hotel is clean and secure soeacily the staff overthrere when my mother forget her bag in the lobby the staff didnot gave us the bag unless he did verification . staff over they are helpful speacilly in middle of night when asked for our access card the brought it faster .

we booked 3 rooms and double bed room the space of the room is too small nor fit to us and there was no coubred to put the clothes only hungers so we could not put all our clithes bcz there is no space. another thing is the iron same like last year the hotel doesnt have enough iron and for the first 5 days we could not get the iron morning or even night , such big hotel should have enough iron and this point was mentioned in my comments last year and was promissed by the staff over there when we booked that we will have our own iron but not done even this year.

All the facilities and the location as well is very good. The breakfast is great and don't event mención the Spa which I used every single day but the most important thing was the hospitality from all the people who works there which definitely makes a difference. I really enjoyed my 6 days there. It is probably one of the best hotel in Istanbul. I will definitely book there again.

You may need to call to Reception to let them know to clean your room and put new water bottles if you already avoided the cleaning services due to you slept until late hours. Not a big issue.

in the room i could here all the sounds from the neighbors room and also from the corridor. and they make noise in the night as well…

Not my first visit . I have consistently found the staff to be pleasant and professional providing exceptional service in ensuring guests' comfort. They’ll graciously offer late checkout if you ask, assist with arranging taxis, and always ask if you need any assistance. Additionally, they are fluent in English, making communication effortless for our international guests. The ambience is welcoming and creates a positive environment. room service is available 24/7, providing convenience, I found the food tasty. They also have a well-equipped gym on site, which allows for a healthy work-life balance available 24/7. central located which is perfect. There is a fantastic Turkish restaurant across the street, as well as a nearby supermarket, providing easy access to amenities.

A few times, i noticed that the bedding, which had obvious stains from makeup, was remade instead of being changed completely. Although when I complained, it was done each time to a high standard, which i greatly appreciated. The pillows, “I” found the pillows in the standard room, In comparison to the deluxe room, somewhat firm and uncomfortable . some of the towels are showing signs of wear and are in need of replacement. Room service, portions could be improved.

The hotel staff were very accomodating, One of the best hotels in Istanbul, I highly recommended the 5 star service from everyone . If you reach there ask for ms ASU and Ms Asiya as they provided everything at all times. Ms ASU would bring me specialty coffee everyday as good gesture. Ms Asiya always made everything was ready aswell. Both ladies have good energy. I highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel , the head chef would make me a special dish for me everyday, the buffet had everything for everyone. Mr Yusuf would make sure everything was ready. The hotel should work on there instagram because everyone should see how good of a hotel this is . Last but not least , I have to say it’s worth every penny and I will be coming back for sure! Thankyou very much.

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service. Also, they are one of few hotels that allow people free smoking room. The reception was so kind to upgrade our room due to wanting a room that would allow to smoke. The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Please give your staff HEKIM ABI awards he was wonderful and very helpful and made sure we were comfortable and the “MUDUR” he was very polite and helpful he was kind enough to allow us to check out a bit later than our normal time with no fee which we really appreciated. I cannot recommend this hotel enough with its service from beauty to everything.

the only issue was trying to get a taxi to go so we’re as at the end of the hotel there’s a bridge that’s connects to the mother way which around 5-7 that’s traffic so it’s hard to find a taxi that would accept.
