I was given a free room upgrade so I had a very big room all to myself. The location is favorable because it is close to Galata Tower area and also has several bus stops and a subway station nearby. The rooms are mostly quiet with all necessary interior. I also liked the air con as it was super cold during the week I was in Istanbul but I could always heat up the room. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to their guests. Great value for a smaller budget!

Cleaning / room service could have been a bit more thorough (hairs on the floor, wax spot on bedsheets) but all in all, it was completely ok for the price.

Nice, staff, nice locations

A little bit outdated

The stay was just great. The room turned out to be really awesome: super clean, cozy and comfortable. The staff was helping and caring. Everything was really clean, convenient and well organized. The location is basically just in one of the main historical and touristic centers of the city, the famous Galata Tower is like in 5 mins walking, one of the most touristic streets İstiklal Avenue — in 15, the Taksim square in 25. I'm really willing to go back and stay there next time.

The room was big and comfortable. The securiry is great, there is always someone checking the cameras. The guys at the reception are very helpful and always want to help, they were the best! You should be aware of the stairs, they are challenging but the rest compensates them!

There should be water in the room.

The staff was amazing, there are 3 guys working there and all of them are super friendly, professional and very helpful. They even helped us with our lugagges to walk to the metro and whenever we had questions they helped, they provided us useful info how to move around, recommended us places to go and tours to take. Really the staff made our stay outstanding and the best experience!! Muchas gracias from Mexico !

Amazing heated/ cooled room in winters/summers. Economical best price hotel with a great view and 2 minutes walk to galata if you don’t have a baby cart otherwise it’s 4 mins. Helpful staff; highly appreciated. Best hotel if you just want to go through night and travel in the morning or the day.

Only the stairs part; there is no Elevator. Everything else is amazing to be honest

Hotel was lovely, room was huge with excellent air conditioning. main downside was the Wi-fi was pants, thankfully I had taken out a roaming package for my mobile. There isn't any lift in the building so I was kept fit getting up and down the 73 steps unto and down from my room. Staff were super helpful and friendly and gave you as much free bottled water as you wanted. The room had a kettle and fridge but would have been helpful if they supplied mugs and teaspoons. I would recommend this hotel to anyone considering it

The room is just what I needed. Comfy bed, spacious, has a fridge, and clean bathroom. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel doesn't have a lift but the staff helped with my luggage so not a problem. It's also in a very good location, 5 minute walk to Galata tower. It's also near the Shishane metro so it's a good place to stay if you want to explore Taksim and Galata area.

The bathroom should have something to hold the soap. I remember the soap kept falling off as the container has huge gaps.

Stuff, the guys made everything for our stay to be as comfortable as possible. Cleanliness was great as well. Location is not bad - the hotel is close to the main road yet in the quiet place. It made moving by taxi easier, also it was not scary to get back to the hotel late at night. And thanks to quietness sleeping there was nice.

Location is not bad, though it was a bit tricky moving up and down the hills with the stroller and the kid when going to transportation stops (for metro you need to go up, it takes like 5 mins, and for tram stop - down, it takes like 10-15 minutes). But the main pain was stairs and no elevator - we stayed on the last floor and it took us not less than 5-7 minutes to climb up or get down. Stairs are extremely narrow and swirled, real Galata tower in miniature :D With a 3yo kid it was a pure torture, also it was pretty dangerous. So I do recommend booking only lower floors if you are traveling with kids.

Amazing location, friendly stuff, breakfast

There isn’t any view, just wall-to-wall, breakfast is served in another hotel, there isn’t an elevator so it’s not easy to carry your bags on the 5th floor
