The rooms are very nice and freshly decorated with comfortable beds. The location is perfect for first time visitors, just a 3 minute walk from the galata tower and in a quiet street. The service is on overall very good, with friendly and helpful staff. Also great to have access to a pool and saunas after some sightseeing!

Their transport service is overpriced. Airport transfer trough booking.com (big car for 6-8 people) or yellow taxis cost about 25-35 euros while the hotel charges 75. We also asked for a car to take us for a 25 minute drive in the city. They wanted to charge 40 euro, so we took a regular taxi instead which ended up costing 12 euro.

They were many great aspects: - The room and bed especially were good and comfortable. - The Spa was really great, with great personnel. - Everyone is extremely kind at the hotel and ready to help and support you if needed. - The view from the breakfast / restaurant is absolutely stunning.

A few points could be improved as well: - The breakfast was not great I must say with some products (bread) that weren’t that fresh. - Although the spa was really nice, the pool was quite cold - Although the location is quite nice, as you are in the middle of many important points, (Taksim, Galata Tower, Ortakoy, etc. All within 10 mn walk) you still have to walk all of this as there are no food options at your doorstep as the street you are on is full of light stores.

We stayed here briefly the night before leaving, so I can't comment on the pool etc, but the hotel was fantastic, the staf were very helpful, helped with bags, recommendations etc. Room was clean and comfy, strong aircon which was needed. The location was also great, just a short walk up to Galata Tower and all the nearby cafes etc, and short walk down towards the waterfront for getting ferries across to Sultanahmet. Breakfast was also good - we found that across hotels in Istanbul they serve a buffet-style which mixes Turkish breakfast with random western foods (like chocolate cake!) but all-round tasty and the views from the rooftop restaurant are spectacular. I also liked that late at night there's always someone at the front desk, which feels safe if you're coming back late.

Hotel is on a hill which could be an issue if you have lots of bags, we got a taxi so wasn't an issue. One of the lights in our bathroom was broken but it didn't affect anything.

Our stay at *The Hotels Galata* was absolutely perfect! The hotel stands out due to its **central location**, making it the ideal base to explore the most beautiful parts of the city. Everything is easily accessible, yet the hotel offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The **exceptional cleanliness** of the entire property is particularly worth mentioning. The rooms and common areas were always spotless, which made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Another highlight is the **friendly and helpful staff**, who were always smiling and ready to assist with any request or question. We’d especially like to thank **Hotel Manager Emrah Bey** for his warm hospitality. A big thank you also goes to the **head chef on the terrace on the 11th floor**! The breakfast and the view were simply stunning – there’s no better way to start the day. We felt completely at home and are certain about one thing: **We will definitely come back!** Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

We have just returned to Scotland following a six day stay at THE HOTEL Galata. All the staff treated us like family, they were so friendly and anxious to help. The value for money was excellent especially as Turkey has become an extremely expensive place. Both the manager and the guest relations lady offered a service that in our many years of travel, we have never previously experienced. The fact that this hotel also offers included breakfast is a massive bonus and the view over the river from the roof top restaurant is wonderful making an excellent start to the day. The spa and swimming pool are a huge bonus for a hotel at their prices and we both enjoyed massages from the resident masseurs. We thoroughly recommend this Hotel to any traveller

We are struggling to find fault with THE HOTEL Galata but if they were to add kitchen facilities and provide evening meals that would be a further bonus.

I would like to say Big Thanks to the hotel stuff for my stay. Special Thanks is for the gentleman who works in the restaurant on the upper floor in the evening. I came in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine. Unfortunately, there was no wine. However, gentleman opened all windows with the panoramic view to the city, switched on music and prepared beer and offered even nuts and cheese free of charge. A small gesture which makes such a big difference. Huge Thanks for this gentleman. I don’t know his name but he is the best as he is doing it from his heart ♥️And at the end u want to leave tips because he is doing such a great job. I was surprised how welcoming he was. 👍👌🏼Location is good. Please exchange money on Taksim street which is near because rate in the city is crazy. Also restaurants on Taksim street are better quality (Mado) and cheaper than in city center. Location is really good and wifi works perfectly. Hotel is new so if u need smth please inform stuff, they will solve any of your problems. Keep in mind as they are still learning and trying to improve. So be easy on them. Rooms are clean and the cleaner is an amazing guy 👍I really liked sponges 🧽 in hotel. And when I asked to give me one extra, the cleaner gifted me. Which is also a very nice gesture 🫶I suggest to buy breakfasts because the view is so amazing from breakfast area that u will not need to go to Galata Tower. I did not take and regretted. Also ask stuff to arrange for u taxi to a/p. Taxi costs 1100 Turkish lira which is normal for local prices. Go to Basilica cysterns in the evening and to Top Kapy palace in the morning. Prepare headsets. I suggest to buy scarf and abaya. U will need it literally everywhere. The balcony was super clean in the hotel. Which is first time I see clean balconies in hotels. Very lovely stuff ready to solve all your problems.

The breakfast deal wasn’t great experience. We received an WhatsApp message regarding discounted breakfast deal, which is 17€ instead of 25€ on the day of check in. The reception sent a link to pay via message and I felt like a scam. In the end, I asked to send it via booking.com and paid all before check in. And then, the first day, the reception offered us a free breakfast!! All process wasn’t good.. if the hotel wants to get more money out of extra, they should make the system better so the customers don’t feel like a scam after all.

The Hotels Galata is an excellent place to stay, perfect location. It’s a peaceful oasis in the heart of the bustling Galata area. From the moment you step into the hotel, the staff makes you feel warmly welcomed and well cared for. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. The breakfast area offers stunning views of Istanbul. The swimming pool with a jacuzzi was perfect for relaxation, giving the sense of being in a true spa environment. I’d definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Istanbul!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the Galata tower, with loads of nice bars and restaurants. The hotel has been styled very well with comfortable rooms and lovely views - the view from the breakfast/dinner area is stunning. The pool and spa area was lovely and relaxing, an amazing oasis from the city that makes the hotel stand out from others. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and spoke great English. I liked the light system for if you want the room cleaned or do not disturb, I haven’t seen that before. Everything was amazing and I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Istanbul, thanks for a wonderful trip :)

I thought the breakfast was a little expensive compared to restaurants around the hotel. It looked amazing and we really wanted to try it but unfortunately we didn’t have it for this reason.

The hotel is new so everything is still beautiful and working. The fascilities were clean,our room was cleaned every day. The restaurant is on the top floor and the view is absolutely stunning. The breakfast and the service were also superb. We were amazed by the staff,they are hard working,available every second and very friendly,all of them, especially Erham. He also gave a goodbye gift to our daughter. Despite the hotel is new,everything runs smoothly. They booked us an aeroport shuttle for small price,they gave us complimentary drinks all the time,it was one of a kind experience. Also the location is good,it is on the quiet side of Galata hill so it is quiet at night and it is still close to all the important places. Highly recommend the hotel. We liked everything.
