I love breakfast,location,staff of front desk specially Ibrahim they were good staff

I didn’t like the staff for hamam and sauna,Except I mean the first women she was good she gave us all information about hamam and sauna ,hamam was hot and clean ,sauna was hot too ,but the second (girl) she didn’t do her job,plus that she shocked me ,when she told me you have to pay hamam and sauna,I told her that hamam and sauna is include in my hotel ,she was kind of rude and also the hamam door was open sauna was cold ,you have to training her how to deal with the costumers ,

location is not the easiest to find down this tiny street so be aware taxi drivers have a difficult time getting there and May drop you off close and tell you to walk with your luggage which I did not do so the taxi driver ended up parking and walking me to the hotel with my luggage. also while the hotel May call a taxi for you and they use their meter they do take you for a long ride. In general I found the taxis in Istanbul to be horrible especially those that you pick up within the city. From the airport they were much better, I guess from the airport they know they are getting a bigger fare.

Fantastic location. Whilst a bit dated, the hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff should be very proud of this. The staff were always smiling and very attentive to our needs - super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. Didn’t eat at the hotel for lunch or dinner so cannot comment on this. Bed was comfortable, shower speed was ok but not brilliant, bathroom generally was great and the air con in the room was excellent

Nothing specifically. I would say it is a touch dated but we wanted a more local feel rather than being in a hotel, where you could be anywhere in the world.

The location was incredible. Just 5-10 minutes walking distance from Aghia Sophia and the Blue Mosque in one direction and the Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar and Bosphorus in the other direction, and the tram stop was a few steps away. The hotel was lovely - reception, the breakfast room and the roof terrace. Beautiful ceilings. Plus like so many other reviewers, I was very impressed by the staff, in particular Okay Alkan who was not only helpful but led an amazing culinary tour round Sirkeci district to introduce us to the different sort of Turkish cuisine. We sampled various dishes in a number of restaurants and also visited the original Turkish delight shop. Okay was very informative, both about the food and also many other interesting matters and I would highly recommend this tour. The hotel offers a few other tours as well but unfortunately we were not in Istanbul for those days. I would also like to give a shout out to the barman in the bar on the roof terrace. I didn't get his name but he had a beard and beautiful hazel eye, and was lovely and he made a mean gin & tonic. Turkish gin by the way is delicious.

In our room the shower was over the bath which I'm not very keen on. I don't know if there are rooms that had a walk in shower. Plus I would have liked to have some USB port in the bedroom.

Perfectly situated with a view of the peaceful public gardens and easy access to restaurants, shops and the trams. Short walk to Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Lots of choice for breakfast, hot options changed daily. Staff were lovely: our room was decorated with swan sculptures on our anniversary as a surprise, and everyone went out of their way to help us have a wonderful time

Unfortunately the pool was not available during our stay, yet the cost of the spa package was not reduced to reflect this

Proximity to the major attractions. They were all within walking distance. Staff were very welcoming, responsive and thoughtful. They also provided us with the details of a private guide who was extremely knowledgeable, professional and made our trip memorable and enjoyable. Through her we gained a much greater appreciation for Türkiye and the Ottomans and we thank the hotel for recommending her.

Normally hotel rooms have a brochure and information about local attractions. Not sure if the lack of this is due to Covid, but they did give us brochures when we checked in.

The location of the hotel was perfect , situated on a traffic free street , walking distance to all the main sights in the Old Town and over looking a park . The staff were all so friendly and helpful , nothing was ever too much trouble . We had a room with a balcony which was a perfect retreat after a busy day sight seeing . The buffet breakfast which was included, gave many different options and varied everyday .

The staff was exceptionally helpful. At breakfast, Fatime taught us all Turkish as she took care of the dining room; at the front desk, there were many helpful staff who advised us on restaurants, called taxis, arranged visits. One particular employee, Mr. Okay, must be singled out for his incredible thoughtfulness, knowledge, attentiveness, helpfulness. Also, the hamam was a wonderful treat! As was the daily treat of late-afternoon çai and simit. Last, the free walking tours are a MUST. Get off the beaten path, see local people living their lives, enjoy the stupendous riches of Istanbul.

Our first room was not right: something caused allergies. We were moved to a perfect room and never looked back. Balcony on Gulhane park, spotlessly clean, quiet, and lovely.

This boutique hotel is a gem in Istanbul. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like family. Warm, attentive and friendly staff. Especially Okay, Fatima, Yigit and Sercan. Such incredible people who made our stay so special. The hotel itself is in the perfect location. Within walking distance to all of the sites and Bosphorus. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Facilities were nice...delicious breakfast and afternoon tea/snacks. Pool and sauna were a very nice retreat as well. We loved Istanbul and when we return we will definitely stay at Sirkeci Mansion!

Everything was wonderful!

+ Great hospitality : we arrived very late almost midnight, very hungry and the receptionist find us an opened restaurant which service was great ! + room upgrade : got a better room when I told them it was my birthday.<<<3 + birthday present : nice lovely detail when we check out. I got a present for my birthday. + very nice location and connected with public transport + very clean and friendly
