Location is amazing! Very central and convenient for a public transport. We had room with jacuzzi, it was very nice! Room was big, clean and cosy. Nice SPA centre! Would love to stay here again ❤️

Breakfast should be better for a hotel of this class. SPA centre are nice, but massage “specialists” were so unprofessional 🥹 It was not a massage, but an oil rub for a 60€. Don’t waste your money.

It was pretty amazing. The staff downstairs are amazing. One of them has helped us find a great restaurant nearby -- and we've been to that place 4 times in 2 days and one evening!

Hotel is a small boutique hotel finished with Turkish furnishings and artwork. Our room - a city room - was quite small but perfectly adequate for our stay. Location is fantastic. Easy walking distance to all the sights in Sultanahmet and huge choice of restaurants within couple of minutes walk. Hotel staff went above and beyond to cater for my gluten free diet, so much so that at breakfast I was also presented with brownies and cheesecake😀.

I stayed in the Romance in February, travelling from England with my family. I had done plenty of research and the name kept popping up, so eventually I decided to book. It was exactly everything that I hoped it would be ❤️ The property was beautiful, clean, central, stylish and comfortable. The staff were so helpful at all the times. The rooms were spacious, stylish and modern. Everything was cleaned daily and kept immaculate. And the beds!!!!!!! They were SO comfortable. I need to know which mattress topper they used because we are dying to use a similar one at home. Even the fragrance in the hotel was stunning. All in all, please book if you’d like an affordable but beautiful and comfortable stay in a central location. We even able to walk 10 mins every morning to pray fajr at the Hagia Sofia. Just stunning. Even their room service felt special, the food is cooked at their partner restaurant, it was so fresh and tasty. Thank you so much for the experience. ❤️

Perfect location, friendly staff, spacious good equipped and clean room. Although we did non spent a lot of time in the hotel and had no chance to explore facilities of the hotel, general impression is good. Ideal place for short stays in Istanbul. Tram stop is behind the corner, main sights are accessible by feet.

Bath items and bathrobes are subject to special request. In our room the door of the shower cabin was constructed so inconveniently that you need to be amazingly slim creature to close it when you are inside the cabin to take a shower. It definitely requires a reconstruction.

This is a fabulous hotel with the tram right on the door step to explore Istanbul. Also a few minutes wal from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, etc. As soon as you step into the hotel, you are greeted with a warm welcome by very nice and professional staff. The breakfast is plentiful, there is free afternoon tea and cakes in the afternoon which is nice after a whole day walking around Istanbul. The rooms are very comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants around and the hotel staff will give you recommendations of excellent restaurants around. Thank you to everyone at Romance Istanbul, especially Shirin, for making our stay so wonderful.

We stayed at Romance Istanbul hotel for 3 nights in Dec 2023 and had an amazing time. The location of the hotel is perfect, a couple minutes from the tram station and 7-8 mins walking from major Sultanahmet attractions like the Aya Sofya mosque and so on. The rooms are cozy and beautifully decorated, it has a charming, antique vibe to it. Everything was exceptionally clean and housekeeping did a great job every day even when we left a mess. We also tried room service which I usually don't do but did as we were super tired and their food was truly amazing. Especially the manti (turkish ravioli)! They also provided great service, with recommendations, airport transfers and even helping us with translations for communicating with our hotel in pammukale. We would absolutely stay there again and recommend to our friends and family!

We stayed in the presidential suite, which was decorated beautifully with authentic touches. The bed and pillows were unbelievably comfy, and the breakfast catered to all tastes. The staff are so friendly and helpful, especially Shiriw, who l dealt with before and after our check-in, she gave us all the advice we could need. Our thanks also to Senol, Onder, and the very handsome Nikoli (who should definitely be in the movies) for looking after us so well. The hotel is in a perfect location close to all major attractions. I can't recommend the Romance Hotel highly enough😍

We arrived from the airport at 8am. We message the hotel Prior to arrival asking for an early check in. We were told that if a room was available They would accommodate. Upon arrival, we waited approximately fifteen minutes for our room to get ready. They made us cappuccino's while waiting which were delicious periodThey made us cappuccino's while waiting, which were delicious. The staff spoke good english, and taught us of Turkish as well.. The room was clean and comfortable.. Mini-bar in room, however, we did not partake.. The spa was wonderful, make a splurge and do the Turkish bath. Hotel is in center of all of the tourist attractions. We use the Tram in front of the hotel to cross over to the Asian side and to go to Galata tower period. Everything else is walkable. .Would definitely stay again if traveling to Istanbul.

The property is in an absolutely perfect location in the heart of the old city and in easy walking distance of the major tourist attractions. It’s a small boutique hotel with only 40 beds which gave it a more intimate feel and even though its location is central it is still very quiet and peaceful. Staff at the hotel are exceptionally nice- nothing was too much trouble for them. We had just sat down to breakfast on our last day when our airport taxi arrived earlier than expected- the staff very kindly didn’t charge us for breakfast as we only really had time to drink a coffee - we were very grateful and considered that to be a very nice gesture. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was enormous and super comfortable. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve ever slept in. Would highly recommend this lovely hotel and if we return to Istanbul we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
