First I would like to thanks the staff for helping and supporting during my stay and for upgrading my room. The location was perfect, it’s near to Taksim square and there are a lot of facilities near by such as money exchange, cold store , restaurants and shisha cafes … etc.

I didn’t like the elevator it is for two persons use only, I was not able to enter it with my wife and doughtier trolley. The room was noisy from the outdoor cars we were uncomfortable because of the sound.

The Miyako suite 203 is on the 2nd floor overlooking a quiet street. the area has changed extensively for the better since I was here in 2011. The staff reception and cleaning are great. The suite was clean when I arrived, and the crockery and bed were clean when I returned at night. I could make tea and reheat a meal in the microwave if I wished. The mattress is clean and just as firm as I like. I was impressed with the experience and I think it excellent value for the area. I recommend this hotel for easy access to the hava bus to both airports. you can see the buses lined up just past the Point Hotel. istiklal street is iconic of course, and Geza Park has a nice cafe to enjoy a quiet spot in the shade. The buses take you to Besiktas for great food, or the funicular to get to Kabatas for the islands or the tram system. you can get the Istanbul kart in the Metro- one of the yellow machines will provide a new card, though most only top up.

There are maintenance issues which didn’t affect my stay and were not repaired by the end of my 3 night stay. Only 2 of the sockets in the suite worked. The stair rail fell off when I went to the basement to use the bathroom.

Traffic noise takes getting uses to but that is Istanbul.

Central location, steps from Havaist & Havabus stops to both airports. Very near Taxsim Square and all the restaurants, cafes & shops.

Smells of cigarette smoke in corridor. Perhaps have a non smoking floor for those allergic to smoke smells.

the location for turists is amazing but its so crowded and noisy even with the amazing windows the istanbul traffic was noisy I couldn’t have a good night sleep at all

The location of the hotel near the Taksim square and metro station is great. The airport shuttle bus stop is just in front of the hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. I especially wish to Thank Mr Burak, who is so nice and assisted me during check in and check out. I requested to leave my languages 2 days before check in during my short trip to Cappadocia which was kindly accepted. Free coffee, lemonade and fruits in reception area was nice

The lift is very small and a bit scaring. Very bad smell of sewage pipe in entire room which was really disturbing. I found hair in shower cabin and bathroom. No iron or iron table in room.

Location Hard mattress and very fresh pure cotton linen, many fresh towels, olive shampoo. All You need is there apart from the bathroom, the blight is white, very hospital like. Is so hard to judge. You look close all Is good but the feel Was so wrong. Dangerous thresholds. It is a very strange hotel. I must admit. The staff is really lovely and I they do all they can to help and be there for you. But they deal With day to day job plus constantly broken basic things. You ring reception ask For water - 2 min it’s there/

Laminate flooring through out. Anyone walking - you wake up. The lift is scary and it stuck once Bathroom even though all was three apart from air conditioning it had a hospital feeling and no shaving mirror when the Main one is too far

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location and affordable price. Burak and his team are excellent. We really enjoyed staying at taxim suites. We looking forward to make arrangement for our next visit .
