Cupboard space was very small and only 2 small drawers -only 1 hook in the bathroom -would be an easy fix to add more to be able to hang gowns and towels -we stayed five nights probably fine for a single business traveler

Breakfast was excellent and of good quality. The location was ideal for the Historical peninsula and Istiklal Street. One of the rooms was perfect as per the description given by booking.com

We had booked 2 rooms of the same quality & price. Subsequently, it was found that the reception had actually given a room ( 255 ) which was in another wing and the size being that of a lower level, about 24m2. The other room 141 was nearly 30M2 as per the booking and in the main wing. I spoke to the reception about this and was given various excuses. I had to remind them that the booking was made several weeks before arrival for the same quality of rooms and being full was not an excuse either. I also advised the reception that this matter should be escalated to the manager for a proper resolution. It was not !!

The hotel is in a nice old building and felt very private. The room was comfortable and the layout was well thought out. Bed was extremely comfortable!! Location is also very good with it being a stone's throw away from the Karakoy tunel as well as the tram! More than all that, the staff and the service they provided was excellent. They were all very friendly and attentive, making the stay all the more comfortable!

Beautiful hotel. The design was impeccable. So much attention to details, and everything was well thought after. High ceiling and spacious room was a bonus too.

Soundproofing needed. We could hear every footsteps from the room upstairs. Any sound from the hallway outside also can be heard, way past midnight. Breakfast choices could be improved. For a 5 stars hotel which charges quite a bit for breakfast, it’s a bit much to charge any coffee order (cappuccino, etc) during breakfast (outside the standard black coffee).

The hotel is modern, the room comfy and big enough! The breakfast offers a good variety (Fresh orange juice, watermelon, different bread, turkish breakfast, eggs benedigt, scrambled, etc. as well as waffles and pancakes). The location is good and very close to the Galata-Tower and Bosporus. Every evening you will get a delicious chocolate in your room! Thank you :-)

I don't understand why the cappuccino in the morning has to be charged on top. In a 4-Star Hotel i expect this to be included in the price... I was also disappointed that the staff is not really speaking fluent english (but we had this all over Turkey...). It made our stay a little bit more complicated, anyhow the staff is super friendly and tries it best!!!

The building and its impeccable adaptation for hotel use. The tasteful decoration. The reception staff, very efficient friendly and helpful. Outstanding! The attention to details, which is a must in the hospitality business.

The only improvable service is the breakfast. It is good, but not up to the outstanding level of the rest of the hotel features and services.

Staying at The Bank hotel was a truly unforgettable experience. 1. Location - The location was great. It is close to Istiklal street which is great for shopping. It is very close to Galata tower which had some great bars around. We could catch a cab right down the street and it was walking distance from the Tram station. The vibe of the hotel was fantastic. 2. Room - The tiny bank-themed details around the hotel and in the room were lovely. The room was good-sized and had a super comfortable bed. 3. Hospitality - But what made our experience even better was - the staff, the service & hospitality. A special shout out to the hotel bartender - Fatih - for some great drinks and conversations.

such amazing service really pretty clean rooms lovely bar downstairs. shame the rooftop was closed. we had an awful experience with a taxi driver and the manager and hotel staff were so kind to us and oversaw our return to the airport themselves. above and beyond in terms of service. also the chocolates they give for free in the rooms are AMAZING!

From the moment I arrived at this hotel, I knew my stay was going to be more than special. From the friendly and most helpful staff to the exquisite decor with a lot of personal and attentive details thrown in - this hotel was by far the highlight of my trip. The welcome gifts of; chocolates, post-cards and key-rings were an absolutely thoughtful surprise, in addition to all those nice treats, the toiletries added that extra-level of luxury - the choice of L'Occitane products complimented by an larger than life shower and comfortable bed made for an out of this world experience. My only regret was that I didn't stay longer. If you appreciate coming back to an extremely comfortable and magnificently designed room after a long day of shopping and walking around the city than this is the place for you. In addition to all the nice personal touches that come with the whole experience of staying here, the staff are real gems that ensure you are well taken care of. I will without a doubt be returning to this hotel on my next trip to Istanbul.

Absolutely nothing - I've hopped around multiple hotels over the course of my trip and this one by far was the best in every category. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates the finer things in life.
