Location, location, location. This hotel is in the heart of everything...bus stop, tram station and great restaurants. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Being a female solo traveler Mertcan and Erkin helped me build my itinerary for all of my days in Istanbul so I didn't miss anything. From restaurants to shopping, they helped me plan it all. Love those guys. I'm definitely going back and I will stay here again.

I just wish it had a restaurant and bar. They serve breakfast but not dinner.

This is my second stay at Manesol Boutique Galata and it was better than the first time. The room is good for a couple on a budget or a solo traveler. The toilets are always clean. The breakfast looked good but I didn't have breakfast at the hotel as I had different arrangements at the time. The location of the hotel is very convenient as you can go out in all directions to visit different areas. The tramvay station is 4 minutes away from the hotel and it can take you to various areas.

The rooms are not 100% soundproof. You can easily hear what's going on in the corridors. Some minor stuff needs maintenance, but they don't affect the stay at the hotel.

it was well located, close to the attractions you will want to see. room was clean and not tired in decor. Hot showers available which I found a problem at other hotels throughout Turkey. staff are very approachable and friendly. room was always cleaned throughout our stay.

our room didn’t have a window but this meant our room was dark and quiet compared to rooms facing out to the street

The hotel’s location is fantastic! Set close to the Metro and the Galata Bridge, it’s very close to the Galata Tower in one direction and so easy to walk across the bridge to the old part of town, the spice market and the Grand Bizarre in the other. The waterfront is just a few blocks walk down the hill. There are multiple places to eat within easy walking distance in three different districts, so the choices are endless. Breakfast at the hotel was outstanding! So much variety and very fresh food served up on the terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful! AC worked great, temperature control in the room was easy to manage. The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly!

Our room was just a little cramped for my sister and I traveling together. It was difficult to lay out both our suitcases and move about the room.

Excellent location. 5 Minutes walk to Galata tower and similar time to Tram station. Staff is friendly and always have a smile.

Limited breakfast option. Did not like the really high pillows.

Location was good for looking round the old town. It was on a mostly quiet street. The night staff, who I had regular contact with, were excellent. Erwin was organised, polite and obliging…he happily adjusted some arrangements for me. Achmed is a lovely young man - polite and helpful. Breakfast offered a good variety of foods so I was easily able to leave feeling well fed.

The only daytime staff member I interacted with, did do what was requested and did help, but was rather abrupt and never let go of his cellphone!

I ended up with Covid while staying at the hotel and had to quarantine for an extra 6 days. The hotel staff was amazing. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Location is perfect and probably the best I ever had in past 10 years of going to Istanbul. Right next to the hotel is small funicular that will take you to beginning of Istiklal street. Breakfast was great and staff was very nice and tried their best to accommodate our needs. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay at the hotel again.

Room has unnecessary furniture and due to room size it is very overcrowded. You literally do not have space to put your suitcase anywhere.

The only challenge I have faced is with the water! The hot water wasn't available all the time, and one of the days it wasn't available for a couple of hours! And there is a bad smell that sometimes comes from the bathroom I don't know what's the problem.

This is not my first tome staying at this hotel. The location is perfectly convenient as it is close to Karaköy pier and Tramvay station where you have many transportation options. Also there are many city attractions that are walking distance from the hotel. The value for money is very good as well. The room I got for the price I pay is considered very good.
