There is nothing really to complain about, but just in case you need to know that: • There is no view. • The TV was not working in my room (101). • The access to the rooms is through the stair only. But I was totally fine with all of that :)

Really great stuff. As I had an early flight, they allowed me to check in earlier. Also, gave me their umbrella and let me leave my luggage after check out. For me service is way more important than how the hotel looks itself.

The room was super small and the walls are super thin. I could hear a neighbor throwing up all night. Still, for that price, you cannot find a better place to stay.

Enjoyed the stay very much! The location is just perfect - near Taksim metro and Havabus stop to both airports, few steps from Istiklal. The building is historical, the rooms are small but cozy. The owner Aleksandra is wonderful, very helpful and hospitable. I’ve stayed in several hotels in this area, but this is the first hotel I would stay again! Highly recommended!

The location is absolutely great - a small street just off Istiklal, seconds away from Taskim. The hotel has a true authentic feel, it feels a bit old, but in a charming way. Istanbul is right at your doorstep. At the same time, the street feels nice and residential - the first time I stepped out the door, three house cats curiously approached me to say hi, which felt very welcoming. Friendly staff, too.

There is a valet parking lot next to the hotel, so there's lots of car noises if that kind of thing bothers you. Also, you get the full whammy - both the sound from Taksim's main mosque is very clear in the room, but also from the Christian church next door. That's only at certain times of course, and I believe it greatly adds to the charm, but if you look for something particularly quiet at night, this might not be the best place for you.

The places is near to everything essential. You don't have to worry about taking taxis. You can take bus, metro, or train by walking few meters. You can self check in and no one will bother you. I was mostly out all day so I cannot complain.

The washroom is small, the stairs moves and makes noise. It is near school, carparking, and busy street, so it can get noisy sometimes.

Great apart-hotel. Everything was nice. Me and my friends would surely choose it again next time. Actually this is the fourth time I stay in this beautiful apart. because of its great location, great service, friendly staff and good value for the cost. very clean cozy room, not big in size, yet good a solo traveller. The hospitality was amazing, supportive and friendly staff. Location in the middle of taksim, accessible to everything. It’s not my first trip to Istanbul, and sure not the last, but The house of Tulpan is going to be on my top list and first choice for my next trip. highly recommended!

It was very homey and clean. aside from the very excellent services, the hotel was few blocks away from İstiklal street, TAKSİM square, metro and other important amenities. I could reach the market, restaurants and nightclubs in less than 3 minutes. this is my second time and I felt as if I were at my home relaxed, and safe.
