Staff were very helpful, and had even reached out in advance via Whatsapp to offer assistance in booking a taxi from the airport if required. They showed me how to use the safe in the room to secure my passport during my stay. Also they were very willing to offer advice on the local area and recommendations on where to go and things to see. The breakfast buffet was tasty and had a good selection of cooked and uncooked options. Rooms were kept very clean by the cleaning staff. The location of the hotel is really convenient for Taksim and the main shopping boulevard. I felt very safe walking around the area even at night.

On one night I was woken up at 3am by very noisy people in the adjacent room who had come back to their room very late and played music at full volume in their room for about 10 minutes, totally disturbing my sleep. This isn't the fault of the hotel per se, though be aware that the sound proofing between the rooms is limited so if you have noisy neighbours you may hear them.

Very helpful and nice personnel. Everyone speaks English (an achievement at Istanbul!) Nice breakfast, good internet, big towels, strong shower. Safe lock box in the room is spacious and easy to use.

Price list on service is inaccurate. Laundry costs 50tl PER ITEM thus I've paid 225 per kilo although a manager made a discount and took 200tl. Window view is pretty much covered with the next building, but it's hard to find better in this area. Room seems smaller than on photo although I didn't measure it with the meter of course.

Great location, nice room and comfortable beds, and very helpful staff! During the check-in they offered us a bigger room which was more spacious and comfortable for 3 people. Some people in the reviews complained that it is noisy in the morning because of the mosque, but our windows were overlooking the mosque and it didn't bother us in the mornings, so it's probably an issue only if you are a light sleeper. Breakfast was also nice and tasty, decent selection. The best thing during our stay was the staff - they helped us to organise the transfer from and to the airport, carried our luggage, offered a bigger room, gave an overview of the city and tips for a stay in Istanbul and even one Istanbulkart! And also helped to solve small issues which we had during the stay. Thank you very much!

There were small issues during our stay like not enough towels being given after the cleaning day or the shower stopped working once, but members of the staff were very good to resolve everything quickly.

Breakfast was delicious and the location could not have been better. Staff were very hospitable and courteous. The charter to the airport was very well priced. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean.

There was a gap between the photo on Booking.com and what we saw when we arrived. The rooms were old and could use a renovation.

I cannot express enough about how friendly, helpful and amazing the staff are especially sahin and nazli at the reception they made our stay amazing. in addition the location of the hotel is perfect, in the middle of istiklal strt, 1 min walk to reach the main strt of istiklal.

only 2 things that were bothering, 1 the breakfast was not rich, not much options available its the same everyday. and at the corner of the street before you reach the hotel there was a huge pile of trash not from the hotel but from other restaurants around it , they drop their trash at one corner which was annoying to see every day.

A nice small hotel just 3-4 minutes walk from Taksim square. Just next to the main street (Istiklal) where all the bar cafes and restaurants are. Location was excellent. Room was nice we had also a balcony (small). Room was ok if you don't plan to spend time in the room (not very big). Breakfast was nice- do not expect European breakfast, it had a loot of local delicacies. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a value for money hotel especially due to location.

Everything was good at Tango Hotel. Best part was the host Shaheen, who made us feel like home from the first day. He was very helpful and guided us throughout. Breakfast at the Hotel was excellent lots of varieties, Just a minute walk to Istaklal street and 5 mins to Taksim Square. Highly recommend the property.

The staff were incredibly helpful, going out of their way for me...room & breakfast was great..they even carried my luggage to taxi station....bathrooms recently renovated , great mural on room wall + a balcony...location is fantastic ! The staff are lovely here. During our stay, they were so helpful by giving us travel advice and even sent us to the airport shuttle bus themselves on our last day. We are so grateful for the amazing service we received, and it is clear that the hospitality here is unmatched. You won't have to worry about anything during your stay here. The rooms are clean and we had very comfortable sleep on the beds. It was quite cold in Istanbul during our stay but the rooms were nice and warm. There's an enough space for your luggage and a safe to hold your valuable belongings. Furthermore, breakfast included a variety of very tasty foods. Location is best too, just close to walking street and short distances to Taxim metro.

Firstly, the location is absolutely perfect. Not even a minute walk from restaurants, shops and the main street. I felt extremely safe staying at this hotel as I was always greeted by the wonderful staff when entering and leaving the hotel. The breakfast is more than good, plenty of variation and enough to satisfy you with a lovely seating area. I was fortunate to stay on the top floor and had a lovely balcony where the sun would be during the afternoon, it was a great place to sit (and sunbathe) in between walks/shopping. Levent Tatar took extremely good care of myself and my friend. My friend sadly caught a nasty cold and when Levent found out, he would bring myself and her lemon & honey tea, as well as Turkish tea. Levent did go above and beyond to help us and truly made our stay extra special. I'm planning on returning to Istanbul soon and will be booking this hotel again!
