beautiful location felt like 5 stars

everyday had an issue with the cleaners in the room not doing job properly noticed around the pool areas could be kept a better standard and the food was not amazing for a 5 star hotel

It is a beautiful hotel with great facilities. Perfectly located on the Kotor Bay, it is a 10-12 minute drive to Kotor Old Town, so it is away from the crowd and yet accessible. There is a City market right outside the hotel, should you need to pick up any necessities. We stayed at the room with a hot tub in the balcony and the view from the room was stunning. The hotel was a very good spa and wellness centre with professional staff and an indoor pool with stunning views of the sea. They also have a semi-private beach, outsiders could enter but we only encountered hotel guests during our stay. There are sun beds laid out and the water is perfect and calm for a swim. Everything within the hotel is impeccably done up and given they are in the process of being integrated with the Hyatt group there is a lot of renovation work underway, which I am sure will only make the property more magnificent. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast spread was amazing. They have free valet parking for guests. We would come back here in a heartbeat.

We did not enjoy the food at the Light House restaurant, where you can order ala carte. The food at this restaurant is pricey, which is expected for a property like this but it is definitely not value for money for the taste; appetisers especially could be improved significantly.

Everything was perfect in this hotel. I booked room with jacuzzi, but when I arrived with my wife, at reception we were told that we got upgrade to the big villa apartment with jacuzzi 😍. It was the best vacation and experience.

The location is simply stunning. The views are amazing, and the water is crystal clean. The rooms are very nice, and the hotel facilities and the pools are just renovated, very stylish and pretty. The beach is wonderful. Most of the hotel staff was also very nice and helpful.

I would expect some things to be done better from a five star hotel. Like - the staff at the beach was very unhelpful, during breakfast coffee is only available from the machine, the kitchen mixed what we ordered in terms of eggs, service was often slow. Room delivery charges you 20 euro even if you want to order a bottle of water… Prosecco at check in was old and warm. A very nice hotel, but needs some tuning in terms of service for the money it charges.

Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort is a great place. It offers unrivaled views on the Kotor Bay and premium facilities - private beach is a highlight. Staff is extra friendly and helpful. We bring only good memories from our stay in Kotor Bay and can fully recommend the place.

We had an amazing time and there is nothing to complain about. Perhaps only a small remark that the breakfast selection is ‘only’ very good but not ‘extraordinary’… It included show cooking, fresh fruit and vegetables, pastries etc. and it will not leave anyone hungry. However, compared to other 5* hotels or Hyatt Regency properties which I visited recently, appears to be missing the ‘wow’ factor.

Great breakfast - lots of variety and nice, fresh food. Beach area had beautiful views. Staff were helpful and charming. Great daily maid service and everywhere was v clean. Perfect location for exploring the area - Lovely walks along the bay and lots of great little restaurants along the way. Mademoiselle was particularly delicious and right over the water. Loved the swallows flying around the hotel exterior and hope that the management won’t de them a nuisance/destroy nests!

Hotel design is a bit bland and the pool area isn’t very appealing. Right next to a car park and Too many sunbeds crowded together in very hard landscaping . Needs more greenery/softening. There’s a (very useful, well stocked) shop on site but no bins and an awful lot of litter and cardboard packing around it makes it v unappealing

The breakfast was excellent. We loved it.

The qualityof food is good. Location is good too but it needs to be a larger place for more people to attend outside .

There should be changing cabins for the beach . And the toilets are too far to go , inside the building after the tunnel . If you need to visit the rest rooms you go far away. The personnel should be around the beach beds to help more for umbrellas and tıwels and for snacks . They are there but when you need you don’t see anybody around. And also , the taxi needs to be more easy to reach …

Both the establishment and the setting are wonderful, that's undeniable. Fluffy pillows and extremely confortable beds, quality furniture, big windows, impecable cleanliness, generous terraces and a fabulous view of the bay (even when it rains it's extremely beautiful), just to name a few. What I would really like to point out here is the team's professionalism. Unfortunately we didn't start our stay off on the right foot; our journey would have been heavily impacted if it weren't for the concerned members of the staff (receptionists, manager, etc.) to handle the situation the best they could - which makes me think of something someone once said: "People are an organization's most valuable asset and the key to its success". Can’t wait to return to Blue Kotor on our next visit.

Lack of transparency in email communication regarding the nature & scale of the building works which occured during our stay (March 2023). - Unclear if true Adults Only or not.

Firstly let me mention the amazing staff, so warm and friendly and so welcoming. It was mine and my sisters birthday and they surprised us with a lovely cake. The hotel is going under construction right now. However, please do not let that stop you from staying here. The part of the hotel that they have open is still so beautiful. They emailed us to say that the room we wanted was unavailable and they gave us a better room than what we booked and due to the room change and our birthday they offered us a complimentary dinner which was AMAZINGGGGGG! The breakfast is wonderful you have an A la carte menu to pick how you would like your eggs and also a small buffet set up so there is plenty of options. Our room had a jacuzzi and a wonderful view and a huge balcony. The room is massive that we stayed in.

You are a little bit secluded, so if you want it to just be pure relaxation then that's fine but there's no shops or anything around you. There was a piece of the headboard that was ripped and the marble flooring makes the room have that cold feel. This DOES NOT take away from how amazing everything was it's just a note for the hotel. .
