Hotel is amaizing! Pool is clean and you always find a place for yourself. Beach is only a few steps away. Garden is nice with a lot of green and palms. Staff was very kind. We will recomend this hotel but you must be aware of the rooms with NO view. There is no loud music at the pool and during the evenings and we could relax.

View from the side of the building means view on the wall which is in front of the window! This was really not cool and we couldn’t change the room after check in. We also asked for the garden view via booking chat in big advance but hotel was not able to consider our request.

Room wasn’t the biggest but it had everything we needed, clean and the amenities were definitely a plus. The pool side service was everything, the beach and the complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas 💯

The unexpected nightly deposit of 150$ per night. Not sure who to blame, the third party booking company or the hotel, stayed 3 nights and had to swipe my card for an extra 450$ when I arrived. It made me have to rearrange my spending for my trip. On a positive note everything I charged to my room or poolside food and beverages, deducted out of the 450. It wasn’t a big deal but I would’ve liked to be made aware before I arrived.

The staff was phenomenal and extremely helpful. The pool and surround are fabulous with great access to the the beach. The hotel is in a nice location on the edge of the art deco district, there are bikes you can borrow so you can cycle around. Excellent.

As of August 2023 there is a very noisy building site next to the hotel next door (North side). The workers start at about 7:00-7:30am and as a result we heard a fair amount of noise especially in our room. This is the only negative point, not down to the hotel really.

Loved the art deco aesthetics, the proximity to the beach and the location! Some of the staff were really friendly and approachable. The beach area was a great place to switch off and read my book.

I wish the facilities were explained to me better when I checked in late at night - it was a tad bit awkward as an introverted solo traveller. There's a separate key card for the back entrance. Also, the pool is very noisy, which is understandable as there's a DJ and the fact that South Beach is a party area.

We loved being near the beach and we loved hanging out at the pool.

My original assigned room the lock was broken and the second assigned room we had issues with that lock as well.

The location and amenities. The restaurants located inside the hotel made things very convenient. They're somewhat expensive but good!

No warning of a $450 security deposit. No mini frig or microwave

Pool waitstaff did not circulate very often - had to keep getting up to find them. Was great to have poolside service though. You have to pay extra ($25 for beach umbrella).

they did not use fitted bottom sheets so the bed got very wrinkled and was somewhat uncomfortable. the mattress and sheets were good but they need fitted sheets. Also on top of the resort fee , they charged for chairs and umbrellas on the beach so that could add up to $50 a day.
