The property is very nice, and centrally located in downtown within walking distance to pretty much everything. The room we stayed in was very clean and we had a great westerly view of the city and enjoyed watching the sunset from our room. The bed was comfortable. The 65 inch TV was awesome. I went with my wife. I had jury duty the next day. The staff was really good about her hanging out in the lobby even after she checked out and they allowed my truck to stay parked in their parking garage until I was done. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Salt Lake City.

My only dislike, was with the price I paid for the room, it should include some type of free breakfast. They do have a nice breakfast buffet for $29, which was a bit too spendy for me. I opted out and ordered two sides, bacon and two eggs which still cost me $12.

Beautiful hotel, very convenient as it is right next to the convention center which was our primary destination. Lots of great dining inside and around the hotel. Very clean, new, comfortable rooms. The staff were very accommodating and helpful.

When other people are leaving their rooms, the door slams behind them and rattles, what feels like, the entire floor. The bedsheets were pretty loud when moving around at night and the pillows were not comfortable at all. I also wish the rooms were a little bigger, especially with a king size and pull out bed.

The location was perfect. The city is very walkable and the hotel’s location made it easy to get around. Also, our room at the corner king was amazing. The view was perfect. The cleaning crew did a great job with the room and the smell of the cleaning was good and not overwhelming. Will definitely return.

The breakfasts were nice, but would have been nice to have a little more variety each day, but I understand that could be difficult to manage inventory that way. I did really like the Turkish dish, shakshuka. That was really good. Not at all really a negative overall.

Incredible stay at a truly outstanding hotel. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. I travel frequently, and it’s easy for hotel experiences to blur together—but this one stood out as one of the best. The rooms were beautiful, super clean, and fully equipped with everything I needed. Every detail was taken care of, and the amenities were absolutely first-class. The entire experience, from check-in to check-out, was seamless and flawless. Highly recommend staying here!

Very formulaic rooms, but not in a bad way. I felt Deja vu as I entered my room, having stayed in a Hyatt Regency recently where the room was close to the exact same, but in a way it made it feel more familiar and cozy. Very clean, friendly staff, there's really not much more you could possibly want from a business hotel.

The parking situation was a bit uncomfortable, unless you were using valet parking you have to walk a solid bit in a large underground parking lot. Also, I am not a fan of having water bottles cost money (though they're free for loyalty program members) in an upscale/luxury hotel.

Very impressed with this place. Everything was extremely clean, amenities in the room were as expected with some shower items provided, pool was very clean and enjoyable with towels provided. Our room was very very quiet, which was nice after a long couple of days. Staff was very very helpful, patient, and kind. Checkout process is super convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

AC was a little wonky and confusing to work. Seemed like it would blow hot air once it reached the set temperature, then cold again to cool down. We were comfortable, but it was odd.

I was offered an upgrade to include access to the club room for breakfast and snacks during the day. It was absolutely what I needed on a daily basis. All of the staff was incredibly helpful. The restaurants on site were great as well with a decent selection and ease of ordering. The food quality was great too. I was attending a conference at the Salt Palace and it was nice being able to walk directly inside to the conference center without having to go outside. Also, the quick lunch options offered by the Market at the Hyatt were much better than the food that was offered at the conference.

My room sounded like it was in a wind tunnel. It was near the end of the hallway and it was just a constant sound of wind in the room. It may be fixed with just some tweaks, but it was a little annoying every now and then.

The decor, cleanliness, and location were all winners. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower excellent. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good; but very pricey, so we only ate their once during our four day stay.

The lobby needs more seating and more wastebaskets in obvious traffic areas (near the tables, en route to the Convention Center). We missed having an option for room service. Very unhappy that the Market couldn't take cash transactions. Even though I know it is not the responsibility of the Hyatt, we also didn't expect the vendors in the Convention Center didn't take cash either. Cash is legal tender for all U.S. debts so not only is this inconvenient, it just plain bothered me and my travel companion.

Very popular and busy hotel, and for good reason! I wanted a quick weekend getaway for President's Day, and the Hyatt Regency caught my eye. It's a big and bustling hotel with great amenities. I didn't eat at any of the restaurants inside of the hotel, so I can't speak to those. But the corner king room was wonderful, I liked the cafe in the lobby for my morning coffee, and my views were gorgeous.

I was hoping that there would have been laundry facilities on site, but there weren't. The front desk let me know about a service they use to send out laundry, but it takes a full day to complete. As it was my last night, I wasn't able to use this. But even so, I think it would have been helpful to have laundry facilities readily available so I could wash a few items.

The staff was so helpful and really “gets it”— what it is like to be travelling and need a few things and not be sure how/where/what to get it. We got stuck in a random elevator for just a couple of minutes, and my grandson was very afraid and shaken up. Valerie, the concierge was amazing and gave him a lovely little pencil-case that was full of candy! Such an unexpected personal touch. He felt so special. Truly. She was also great at getting us a cab and making sure we got to it. I had issues logging on to the internet and the front desk was also 100% helpful with making sure I could get on line so my grandson could video call his mama.

The weather turned stormy and my grandson couldn’t swim because the pool (on the roof of the 6th floor) was closed. But we enjoyed looking at the pool. Maybe next time! The only thing I can think to say that is maybe something to improve on is that I got a little chilly in the room when the weather turned, and how to turn the heat up was not obvious. But maybe that is just me.
