The amazing staff! This was my 2nd visit to Golden Sands and I can’t wait to return. As soon as you arrive you are greeted by their enthusiastic and friendly team like Amit and Azeem who cannot do enough for you. Amit is amazing and helped my wife get her dressed pressed. We had the pleasure of being welcomed by Moureen, with her bubbly and caring nature. We upgraded our stay to enjoy the luxury of the newly introduced Lounge, where the culinary delights whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner was a joy to behold. There is a wide range of choices at each mealtime and Nadia, Asala and Simon took great pride in ensuring our comfort and enjoyment there. The roof top pool is clean and offers great sights across the city and I recommend the healthy smoothies that are on offer at the poolside bar. The team up there are great too! Our room had all the comforts with robes and slippers and even a pillow menu! The location makes it easy transfer wise from the airport and the metro is walking distance from the hotel, so do experience this as it’s so clean and efficient. There are so many great people working here at this hotel, who take great pride in their job and they are wonderful ambassador for the hotel. There are too many too mention but I also recall Kamal from the housekeeping team and Khalil and Julie at reception who were extremely pleasant too. Mandeep is your man to book any excursions. Overall, we can’t wait to return next March and we look forward to seeing our friends there again! Thank you! 🙏🏼

Our only concern came via the lady (we think she is from the sales side) who was overly keen to promote the spa services. She could have been a bit more friendly in our opinion.

Exceptional experience. Golden Sands is not the kind of hotels where you would get lost between everything in the lobby and corridors. Everything there is simply and perfectly to the point. They give an amazing benefit with the Suite which is the VIP lounge access with complimentary tea, coffee and dining during the dining times. Suite is exceptional. Very Cooperative staff and a big thank you to Christine, Mohamed Saber and Mohamed (Manager) that made it an amazing experience

The hotel staff are extremely helpful. On arrival, we were taken to the room, and everything was explained by the staff. We felt welcomed from the minute we arrived, and during the entire stay, we were treated like royalty by the all hotel staff. Probably the best level of service we have ever experienced in a hotel stay.

Golden sands hotel is my absolute best. We got a surprise anniversary cake and card in our room. By the second day, our housekeeper did a deco with towels on our bed. Twas so beautiful. The hotel has a personal connection with their guests. The hotel is beautiful and our room was well lit and big. Although the room with balcony was quite smaller. The manager and my husband planned a surprise romantic dinner at their buonissimo restaurant for us. The food was delicious and Arlene was very professional and helpful. The location is central and staffs assist in booking taxis. Breakfast was good too.

It's been my pleasure and privilege to stay. Enjoyed everything!!!! Especially the service, reception team first, who made me leave with the feeling of need to be back again. I would strongly recommend the hotel.

The superpower of this hotel is definitely its staff, everyone was extremely professional and caring, from reception to household support, they really made a clear effort at learning about our preferences and habits and that was fantastic. Hotel is also very beautiful, our room had a view on the Dubai Creek and was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. Luxurious bedding and towels, excellent toiletries. Choose not to have breakfast so cannot comment on that, but dined once at the Buonissimo restaurant and was an excellent experience. As information, hotel is dry.

The chill effect coming in the hotel from outside was sometimes overpowering, and the scent in the lobby could be quite as overpowering. Hot water in the shower would take a while to come, leading to water waste which in Dubai feels particularly bad. Hot water would come and be very hot after about 8-10 minutes though. Shower also leaked on the bathroom floor. Bathroom sink would occasionally clog up but it is our fault that we did not flag this to maintenance. Swimming pool on the roof is quite small but has a good view of the Creek.

amazing staff, very helpful and kind. Khalil, Cristina And kristina at the front desk and all the staff involved during the stay really made us feel at home.
