The hotel building is old and shabby. Room needs renovation.

We got to the hotel very early and the staff checked is in early. The location is very good. Its 4 minutes walk to Union Train and Tram station and you can get anywhere fast and cheaply from there. There are supermarkets a couple of minutes away and a street of restaurants behind the hotel. They had every type of place from Afganistani to McDonalds. It is not an expensive area. Its an older, less fashionable area of Dubai. There are other hotels about there but most of the people in the area seem to be Indian and African workers. Nobody hassled us though and it felt very safe and we were happy for our daughters to wander around there. I didn't do breakfast or any meals but the restaurant look good. It has a smallish no thrills pool that was ok for topping up my tan and gym, spa and sauna but i didn't use them. The room was spacious and the bed very comfy. The aircon worked well thoughout the hotel. Id say that it is a great value hotel.

Outside was very hot (July/August...but I cant blame the hotel) The area at the front of the hotel looked rough but the people around there were no trouble and it felt very safe.

Most of the receptionists are friendly (some are grumpy- probably tired). Singh, who was in charge of cleaning my room (323) and my former room (125?, forgot his name) made sure I had enough supply of mineral water; they did tidy up my room well when I asked them to. This place is fews steps away from Al Ghurair Center/ Mall, Day to Day, Al Rigga and Union Metro stations, and plenty of shops. Plus few minutes away from the airport. They have on site PCR testing. (-) The lobby and reception areas tend to get noisy in the evenings as they cater to parties and events. Breakfast needs more variety or options but I loved the instant coffee maker. Lunch and Dinner are good, I enjoyed the Pinoy desserts. After staying for a few days (12 days), I could already predict what’s on the daily menu. Some amenities are dated. Overall, I had a fantastic stay.

We arrived very early at the hotel due to an early flight from SA. Unfortunately we could not be accommodated until after 12h00. We had to book at a different hotel as we were really exhausted. The next day the we went back to the hotel. I spoke to Mr. Mohamed Elrewiny (Front Office Manager) and explained to him the events of the day before. He was very understanding and helpful. Furthermore , he upgraded our rooms and accommodated us for a late checkout. It was a very pleasant surprise. Overall we had a pleasant stay, all the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I will not hesitate to recommend or book at this hotel in the future:)

Upgraded my room on check in was welcomed. The room was larger and more comfortable . The room faced opposite to the night market and main road so was much more quiet and easier to do work. Room service was efficient and nice. Close to Union Metro station. Close to all night supermarket for essentials and groceries. A vibrant night market next door. Close to the al Ghurair Mall too . Area filled with eateries and restaurants.

The house keeping failed to make the beds daily . The carpet needs more cleaning .

- location is very Good, near metro and surrounded by afternoon shopping and eatery places - the first date, i have been reques from the staffs that i have to pay in advance otherwise they will hold my passport which i didn't like and i was tired and went back to the room. next day i met the manager Mr. Mohammed, he is the most professional hotelier and he assure everything in hand and he made my stay pleasant enough. - due to a very Good hospitality, i return back again and stayed a night before i leave - nice and clean swimming pool in the rooftop - highly recommend and whatever you face in the hotel, the G/Manager has a great welcoming advise, i salute you sir.

The location is very good near to metro and you can move around easily. Staff is highly cooperative all the time. Comfortable bed and good cleaning all the time. Internet is good and IT support team is highly professional and cooperative. Amazing stay and good value for money.

The hotel was good, especially the staff that was assisting us with our requests - the receptionists and particularly Omar and A. Sevenkaili that were very attentive to our needs, including assistance on our holiday, sending us towels and water upon requests, even at late hours. The breakfast was great and very adequate to the price. The room was big and specious, the bed was comfy and the rest of complimentaries were nice.

There were some things thing we can say that wasn't for us was the fact the towels were old and even when changed still felt like they serve the hotel for long time. New towels are essential. The other thing is the personal dislike of the rug - in a hot country in particular, regular floor is much cooler and feels much cleaner as a carpet shows the 'history' of the room and it's not always the best.
