The swimming pool was under maintenance for the whole stay and I didn’t receive any email about it. I was upset as I made the reservation especially for the beautiful swimming pool I saw on their website. When I was told so at the reception desk on my arrival, I told them I was upset but they didn’t do anything to try and make my stay happier. The hotel is beautiful and the staff (especially housekeeping Manis) is amazing.

Very polite staff, settle all the requests fast, except the valet personnel, they were a little slow. I enjoyed the design of the room. While travelling with kids or other people tho pay attention, because they have rooms with see-through walls in the bathroom and the toilet doesn’t lock. I really enjoyed how clean the room was, the view was nice and there’s a lot of light.

Media One Hotel is a top-notch hotel that is clean, well-maintained, and provides a host of facilities to make your stay enjoyable. I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed by the range of amenities it had to offer. The hotel has several restaurants, bars, and a club, making it a perfect choice for those looking for a vibrant nightlife scene. The food served at the restaurants was delicious, and the staff was always courteous and attentive. The hotel also has a gym, swimming pool, providing guests with ample opportunities to stay active and unwind. One of the standout features of Media One Hotel was its exceptional staff. The front desk staff, led by Shahulh, was extremely helpful and always available to assist with any requests or queries. His warm welcome and kind words about his service made me feel at home and confident that I was in good hands. Tina, from Travel Saga, was another staff member who made my stay at the hotel pleasant. She helped me book some great tours and was always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations. she was super knowledgeable about the list of activities one can do in Dubai. she handpicked few for me and always followed up to make sure I get most out of them. Her personable nature and helpful attitude were a true testament to her and the hotel's dedication to customer service.

Lovely large reception area and friendly staff. The hotel amenities are excellent including on-site hair salon / barber, swimming pool, poolside bar, small restaurant. The room amenities include tea/coffee making facilities, iron & board, bath robes and slippers, safe etc. The location of the hotel is very good. It's just a 5-10mins taxi ride away from JBR and the prices are much more reasonable than a JBR hotel! Metered taxis can be called easily by the doorman. Dubai is not really designed for walking but it's just about possible to walk to the Metro about 10-15mins walk from the hotel.

Don't bother getting a 'seaview' room as it mainly overlooks a construction site (Nov 2023), the city view is much nicer! Beware the majority of rooms have clear glass around the bathrooms - not ideal if you prefer privacy whilst showering! We were told these cater mainly to couples. We upgraded to a bigger room with frosted glass around the bathroom. Also be aware that a private taxi/limousine company is stationed at the entrance of the hotel and will try to arrange private taxis at often double the cost. A metered taxi can easily be arranged by the hotel staff instead.

Staff were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. From the moment we entered until departure we were made to feel special. The staff were very accommodating, particularly the duty manager Rachid Oubraim, who went out of his way to help us and to resolve any queries/issues. As we were booked on a late night departure flight, staff signed us up to the hotel rewards club which gave us hotel food/drink discounts and also allowed a much later checkout. We were even permitted access after checkout to the free cocktail hour which we had booked but hadn't had time to enjoy earlier in our stay.

Unfortunately the pool area was in shade during the whole of our February stay. The Barasti club is an alternative free private pool and beach area which is only a short walk away from the hotel, but we didn't get enough information at the beginning of our stay to fully utilize it. A shame, because it was an excellent alternative.

Looks like we ended it up in one of the best hotels in Dubai. Once we arrived at the hotel for check-in, the staff was extremely kind to us and we received a room upgrade. We got a very big one with a quite spacious bathroom, including a very nice bathtub, which we immediately used after our long day travelling. I loved the lavanda soap a lot by the way :) The view from the room was breathtaking. We also ordered food from the room service, which arrived very quickly and it was very very delicious. The next day we went to see the swimming pool, a super nice area to be honest, such a pity that we had to leave this hotel so soon!

Everything probably ranks as my best holiday hotel ever! Staff were fantastic. Special mention to Atif, Eliza, Franco, Azerbaijan new girl, Rowana and Timothy in Querty, Kyle the GM on Garden on 8 but really all of them! They made us feel very welcome. Breakfasts amazing, service fantastic, Bingo and quiz in Garden on 8 fab. View lovely, Any problems quickly sorted. Pints of course were great. Everyone very happy and obliging! Music in hotel excellent oh and cocktails from 5-7 in Qwerty ❤️

Comfortable bed, convenient location, Dubai Marina and its facilities are a 15 minutes walk (or 5 minutes scooter ride) away. Direct road access from SZR without entering the traffic madness of Marina. Pool is narrow but long, so good for doing laps.

Rooms are a bit on the small side. Maintenance team needs to up their standards. Rooms facing east are noisy (even on high floors) due to the Garden on 8 restaurant/club with outdoor live music.

The hotel is very good in general. The staff is very lovely and supportive. They are always smiling and good mood. The common spaces are modern and fancy design that remained me in a trendy areas in Madrid, London or Berlin. The food in the restaurants and the pub is great, affordable. The price is valuable. We spent lot of time in the pool resting and chilling because is fresh. That's true that only in the morning is sunny, but we liked it a lot because you can relax in a freshly place. The room was veeeeery nice. Not very large but enough. It is provided with a huge glass between the bathroom and the bedroom, and also the huge glass wall as windows that you can have a shower while being amazed with the views (if you're a couple... extraordinary). The facilities are nice and the amenities very good. The shampoo and gels are Australian brand made of herbal products with a fresh smell like moss, rose,... Ummm lovely and refreshing and chilling. 100% recommended!

The pool is not sunny most of the time, in the building's shadow so you can not get tanned hehe, but it is fresh on the other hand, and it is valuable in Dubai.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. the online media one hotel whats app was also very caring: I had a problem and texted them 4 am and they answered me right away. Room was clean Overall but once you enter the room, there is a strange smell which will disappear after turning on the air conditioner.

Outside breakfast area was not as clean as i wanted. There were ash of cigarettes on Tables and chairs randomly.
