The view was amazing; lovely and quiet. The property was clean and well-equipped. There was a mix of very modern furnishing/decor with hints of more traditional, especially in the living room. Many interesting pictures adorned the walls. There was also plenty of room for parking. It was lovely that the owner came to see us to check we had all we needed and to introduce herself.

It would have been better if lighter bedding could have been available, as the duvets were quite warm. Additional oven trays would also have been helpful.

Quiet countryside location but central to many local attractions Lodge was very spacious and comfortable The utility room was very useful with family Beds were very comfortable linen clean Clean facilities Lovely garden area to back of property with picnic bench

Towels are a little small Tv no access to apps like netfixs etc Side retaining wall garden area needs fencing off as possible danger to small children 4ft drop to path.

Great location, great property. The owner was vert responsive to our requests given that we booked very last minute to deal with a family death from Australia. We were left to privacy in the property and found it very comforting. Very warm and cozy in the winter with the fire etc. Highly recommend

If you’re looking for a quiet break this is the place - lovely views. The house had everything you could need You’ll need a car

It’s hard to find fault, the TV’s are all older and don’t have apps for Netflix etc (we all managed without and it was a nice break)
