The host was super friendly very welcoming, bed was comfy, shower was great and it was a bonus to open the blinds and see some farm animals in the field next to it!

Wouldn’t fault the property for it however we struggled to get back to it from castlewellen as no taxis were available so we walked for an hour.

The beautiful surrounding. The rooms were warm and clean. The standard of cleanliness was impressive. The staff were very helpful. Bottled water and your first alcoholic drink were free. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of choice for cereal bread fruit juice. I didn't miss the cooked fry. Our dog Alfie was made very welcome with doggie treats at reception. Thank yous for a lovely stay.

The hot tub was only for guests staying in the cottage. Another hot maybe required for the other guests or hot tub facility removed from booking.com webpage. The egg steamer took awhile to boil eggs and one cup kettle keep needed to be refilled for 5 people. Kettle and teapot would have cut down on the amount of teabags we used.

What ever the question about the stay and facility's my Wife and I agree that the stay that we had just recently we have nothing but praise for the way we were treated by the Staff. Breakfast was great. Bed was Comfortable. We had an evening meal in a Pub/restraunt a short distance from where we were staying ,that was recommended by our host. My advice is to not even have breakfast before going there. The food and friendly staff are top notch. looking forward to returning in the near future. Thanks for "EVERYTHING"

Very little to improve on. Enjoyed our stay.

I loved the place, where was located, the house it self, beautiful inside and out, clean and spacious, we absolutely loved it . We planned to hike early in the morning so possibility of having breakfast when we needed was priceless, fresh food and variety of choice , just perfect. We also cannot wait for their SPA area to finish. It was really good idea to share their plans for whats coming , that way we are so excited to come back when its all finish as any other time . Wonderful place .

I loved the little extras, there was a Christmas tree in our room, my little boy loved it. The complimentary drink was a lovely touch. The breakfast was great for it only being continental, great selection of breads and fruit, yogurt etc. The views were beautiful, a great location. Only a few minutes drive into town but felt like we were a million miles away. The host was a lovely guy, very welcoming and friendly. Asked us throughout our stay were we OK, warm enough etc. The rooms were toasty warm, we were there in December so it was great to get back into our rooms knowing the beds were so comfy and warm. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning.

A lovely place to stay for exploring the beautiful Mourne mountains. Far enough out of Newcastle to feel your in the country but near enough for all the facilities you will need.The staff go way beyond what you would expect, can't do enough for you, plenty of choices for continental style breakfast, rooms lovely, our view was the mountains overlooking a field of sheep and lambs, stunning. The grounds are lovely too, highly recommend, would certainly return in the future.
