It's a high-tech hotel. Minimum communication with the personnel except the restaurant manager who seemed very interested in the good and bad feelings I had towards the hotel. Seems to be a hotel mainly geared toward businesses and business people. Very high trafic to and from the Gym and pool. It is a really good hotel and food can be great too.

The music from the gym exercises too loud. Hardly a smiling face. I prefer no smiles to fake smiles. High-tech reception desk must stand the entire shift. Maybe it's just me on this one. No guide for the use of the High-tech stuff in the room. However they are fairly intuitive...if you have good eyesight. ;-) I actually liked it. Great bed.

Room, staff. Quiet. Came in wet because raining, checking staff gave me a towel-brilliant.

Sports bar atmosphere in restaurant, no immediate parking at 15-18:00 due to gym users but got as turns over quickly, maybe need to reserve spaces for guests only at this time. Parking spaces empty dedicated to EVs proper cars couldn't use. Maybe should have space around EV charging area in case of fire but spaces were away from hotel. Strange room layout (window only in bathroom). No safe for laptop. Restaurant service a bit slow. No printed receipt at checkout (printer broken).

This is the second time I have stayed here. We were in Basingstoke for a wedding and we didn't have a car so needed to find a hotel that we could walk to from the train station. This took about 15 mins. The hotel self check-in is quick and efficient and there was someone to help. The room is compact but for a couple and for one night it was perfect. There was enough room for our very limited luggage and to move around the space. The bathroom shower had good power and there were a lot of mirrors and good lighting too. It was lovely and dark which meant we could sleep in. The bed was really comfy. We had a drink in the bar and it was really cheap!

If you are sharing a room with a friend or parent or sibling you might not like the proximity of the bathroom to the bedroom. It is one of those bathrooms where the glass frosts so that you can't see in, but you can most definitely hear everything going on in there from the bedroom. Make sure you are sharing with someone you REALLY know :) The walk from the station to the hotel is only 15 mins but in the dark I am not sure how I would feel as a woman alone walking down. There are a lot of offices and no residential places so it is very quiet. Also, it is really close to walk to Festival Place to the shops and restaurants but once again in the dark walking back via the underpasses as a lone woman might not make you feel comfortable.

Well appointed Value for money Clean comfortable Very nice shaving mirror Ample parking (5 pounds per day) Excellent breakfast and the same area becomes a pub in the evening (Saturday night was rather loud and boisterous) Starbucks in the lobby Co working space in the lobby Extensive gym attached to the property One hour from central London by car. Huge Waitrose 100 meters from the hotel. Air conditioning

If you sharing be ready for a translucent bathroom The only window in the room is the bathroom window - ok for night or two - anything more would make one claustrophobic due to the window issue Shower power could be better Only credit cards - no cash accepted

The staff and facilities that the hotel offered were excellent and a great location; I loved Starbucks. It was great that you could order food from outside of the hotel and have it delivered and outside seating great. 100% positive for exceptional, helpful staff.

We felt the room was a little smaller than what we are used to and the restaurant was a little on the expensive side. Would have liked to have seen an additional restaurant to offer more choice. These are just minor things. My mobility wasn't great during my stay due to an accident after booking, so I ordered food in.

The staff were excellent, very welcoming and attentive. The facilities were really lovely, I only used the pool area but had a lovely swim and steam. And the room itself was very nice and clean, bed was so comfortable and the black out blind really helps for someone who needs a dark room to sleep in. Having a Starbucks in the building as well as the bar/restaurant was really nice as you had options. The food for breakfast and dinner were both nice as well.

When taking a shower the water gets everywhere in the shower room as there isn’t a screen to shut the shower off from the room itself. The shower was really nice with great pressure and temperature but it just made a large puddle on the floor around it. Also, bit strange to have a ‘privacy glass’ that you can frost up and un frost when you’re in the shower, but the button is on the outside of the room, not a complaint more just a funny quirk.

Excellent choice of foods and drinks, lovely restaurant. Great location and modern furnishings. Great team from first welcome to help with everything, to breakfast service and in the gym. Team should be congratulated on their performances.

Breakfast cleaning should be better, chairs were not wiped clean and all were full of crumbs over all three days, cleaners were pushing table debris onto the floors instead of collecting it and it is important that disinfectant sprays were sprayed onto cleaning cloths first and not directly into the table allowing the spray to fly everywhere.

A great hotel with so many useful facilities - I wasnt able to make the most of them all as it was only a flying visit. Great staff from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. Would highly recommend.

I ordered an evening meal via the room service app. Food was good quality and quick - too quick infact... Despite booking a time, my food arrived 20 mins earlier than expected as I was in the shower. First world problems, maybe - but whats the point in preb booking a time if its not stuck too! Other than that, nothing else unlikeable.

bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was reasonable but would have like more variety of cold foods ie. there was not a selection of fresh fruit only bananas during my stay. The breakfasting area was kept very clean, tables cleared quickly and staff were extremely helpful and approachable. The bar was extremely lively and noisy on the Friday night but this had no noise impact once in my bedroom.

A plastic cup in the bathroom would have been brilliant for holding toothbrush etc and rinsing after brushing teeth. otherwise I have nothing but good comments to make.

I like this chain of hotels, it's about a 15 minute walk from Basingstoke Station, the rooms are nicely styled, lovely bathroom and a massive comfy bed.

At 21:45, despite having the do not disturb sign on my door, my door was knocked several times by hotel staff seeing if someone was smoking in a room, which I did eventually answer as knocked more than once, they did apologise for disturbing me, but it felt unnecessary and after a long day not wanted. Surely would have been possible to smell outside each door or have a sensor to see which room was smoking rather than knocking on all doors on the floor.
