Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating. What made the visit especially was the breakfast. I was lovely. They accommodated for my allergy and the kitchen had remembered from the previous morning what I'd had and just gave it me without me asking.

In the room i had been given first I mentioned to the person in reception that there was a noise in the toilet which was continuous. I got the impression this feedback was not wanted and they wanted to hear it. They came to the room and they said that's just the way it is. I said this isn't right and they did change my room to one on the upper floor which was much better, and no noise from the bathroom.

We liked the room and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to find and there is ample parking space. We enjoyed the evening meal, which was tasty and with good sized portions.

The mattress was very firm. Whilst there was a good choice of cooked breakfast, there were no cereals or fruit available as alternatives and orange juice was charged quite a lot extra for. My husband has a very small appetite due to ill health and was not up to eating a cooked breakfast. He did eventually get a slice of toast and a glass of milk but no jam or marmalade was offered. I enjoyed my steak and egg, but would have liked a piece of toast to finish off my breakfast.

Breakfast very tasty & rooms very clean. Staff very polite , location wax great for the event we were going too

Although breakfast was very tasty but I think half a mushroom is very stingy & tea & coffee was self service but the hot water pot handle was scalding hot. Rooms not available till 3pm so the event we were attending started at 2pm so we had to get ready in the toilet. Not very pleasing

I have stayed here before and find it very good for a budget hotel . It is 5 minutes walk to the town centre , so is in a good location and is above a pub with its own restaurant .

You cannot compare it with a chain hotel at double the cost which would includes toiletries , and probably has a fridge in the room ,but it is good value for the money

I actually stayed 2 weeks later than expected. There was a lot of snow where I was coming from on the day I meant to travel. The Stratton changed my booking with no problems. I spent little time in the room tbh. Fairly basic but fine for a couple of nights sleep. Seemed to be plenty of parking and it is surprisingly cheap. Much less than the other main hotel in Biggleswade.

Didn't notice anything.

A lovely comfortable and friendly hotel, and the Ghost Ship beer was lovely and fresh tasting. A nice peaceful nights sleep as well.

As I suffer with mobility problems I did struggle to get in and out of the bath in room 12 to take a shower - especially getting out as by then my feet was wet and I really felt unsteady. A handrail to hold on to fixed to the tiles would have made a big difference. A bath mat in the bath would also have helped. Please don't think of this as a complaint as I did enjoy staying here, but this is something you might like to be aware of. Thank you.

The breakfast was really tasty. Service was good, apart from one thing that is a little lazy and not good for hygiene i suppose. I asked for coffee which the guy brought over with my juice. But he took the milk off another table which had left. This milk could have been contaminated. He also picked up knives and forkes and gave them to other customers. Not a big issue i know, but something that can be changed. The day and evening staff were very polite and helpfull. They doubled as reception, which was also very good. I will be back as it is very good value for money. Drinks were not over exspensive, and the balcony at the front is great. The room was a little hot, and a bit creaky but did not stop me sleeping. well done overall.

The breakfast was nice from a fairly large selection of options. Although you do have to pay for fruit juice if you want it, hot drinks were plentiful. Location was ideal for us as we wanted that end of the town for our occasion.

The bathroom sink appeared to be partially blocked and there were some other issues with the bathroom. Was not really informed at the breakfast table what was expected or was available..

This was our second visit. We were pleased to find the mattress this time was more comfortable! It was also good to see soap in dispensers rather than wasteful bars and the bathroom facilities are excellent. Menus for both breakfast and evening meals offered a good selection and the food was plentiful and tasty. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

We could not open the window to let fresh air in.

We arrived 2 hours early & as the room was ready we able to use it straight away. Lovely clean hotel, the rooms are clean and decor is in excellent condition. The bed was so comfy that we overslept. The bar/ lounge looked recently refurbished & was spacious. Staff were helpful and I cannot fault our stay. Would definitely book this hotel again. Family who live in Biggleswade recommended the food it has a good reputation, we did not eat there as we had been invited out for breakfasts & evening meals with family & friends.
