Location spots on only the parking nightmare. We asked to have a higher floor with little view to entertain my toddler. The reception changed room from 9 to 12 which we were facing the main entrance of hotel. It could be nightmare as if not close window at night as people chatting or Road vehicles horn beeping sounds could be disturbance. We truly enjoyed the strong shower, absolutely beautiful breakfast and service. We asked for a fan as the weather was 29deg, and on top floor it could be liked a roasting tin.

Check in at 3pm and check out 10am. It is very limited for people who had travelled 5hrs to get there and wish to enjoy staying in the hotel. However, you can extend the check out by £10/hr.

The staff were very welcoming and we were even shown to our room and were the dining rooms and facilities were available. The breakfast was plentiful loads of choice and Jean was great.

It is not clear you have to pre book parking on the website, so I had to pay £15 for overnight parking just around the corner and if they just explained your breakfast table will have your room number on it would have saved a lot of confusion that was encountered by other guests in the morning and Jean seemed to spend most of her time just directing guests to the other room downstairs, while trying to serve us with our breakfast.

Fabulous staff. Welcome drink on arrival. Clean and comfortable. Lots of choice for breakfast. Managed to find free on street parking so didn’t have to pay for parking at the hotel. I will definitely stay again if visiting Blackpool. Excellent location. Quiet room despite facing the street. Good Wi-Fi.

The only thing I wished the room had was a chair with a back, as I have shoulder problems. Only a four legged stool was provided in my room which wasn’t very comfortable for me. This isn’t a complaint, and wouldn’t be an issue if I didn’t have a shoulder problem. I didn’t ask for a chair, so probably should of asked if I could borrow one. The hotel is four hotels which have been merged so there are four entrances. It would be helpful if signage could be added to each entrance advising guests where to check in as it was a bit confusing.

Staff were attentive, breakfast was large and perfectly cooked with lots of choice and good value. Very close to beach and Pleasure Beach so ideally placed.

Nothing really, Only slight niggle was I put parking in the filter as it can be a nightmare or expensive and it did say they had parking but when I got there it was full. They did email me but I had already started driving so I didn't see the email. When I got there they said I needed to phone ahead for parking but you can't until its booked and the booking was non refundable. Other than that, all good.

The receptionist Daniel was excellent and an asset to the company. The other staff also excellent including the breakfast ladies who everyone knew and spoke well of. Secure parking was also good and the evening surprisingly quiet given its location. The staff make the place and such a relief to meet nice staff in Blackpool. We have had some bitter experiences, but they were top drawer people. Breakfast room was also very good and also good food with nice touches on bottled milk and orange juice on the table. Extra toast was no issue and lakeland butter is always a bonus.

It is not so much didn't like but needs noting that the room was basic although clean. Facilities in the room are fine such as towels and shower condiments. For us as a family, we would look for a bigger room or maybe other options Daniel pointed out.

Excellent location, parking was full but there is another car park just up the road. Staff were lovely and helpful and we had a quiet night with comfortable beds, really can’t complain. Very traditional BnB for Blackpool and good value for money for being so close to all the amenities.

Toilet flush made a loud noise through the pipes, not a problem at all for us really as we only used it during the day but might have been an issue if used overnight. Again, just a small thing nothing I would have marked the room down for.

danescourt lodge/hotel is a lovely spacious property, very welcoming staff on arrival and helpful throughout our stay. we had 3 comfortable rooms and had a great nights sleep in the beds. complimentary tea and coffee selection plentiful and small toiletries in the bathroom very handy! the kids loved the freedom of the spacious lounge/bar and games room areas and I believe they are adding even more in for families to enjoy. the hotel is in a great location, across from the south pier and a couple of mins walk from the pleasure beach. I will return later in the year! thanks

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were neat, bed was comfortable, the food was so great my children are still talking about it. Supplied us clean towels and teas everyday. The location is easily accessible to all the attraction centres and just by the beach. Very well maintained.

The only thing I didn't like was that our bedsheets wasn't changed and our rooms was not swept for that 6 days despite asking several times. I personally approached different staffs at different times and yet, nobody came to clean, we had to improvise and at least get the rooms cleaned ourselves.

We booked a family room , good size including the bathroom , very clean , beds were comfortable, the breakfasts were incredible with an excellent choice, the staff couldn't do enough for you, have already recommended to family and friends and when we return to stay in Blackpool it will be there, added bonus as well it is literally a stone's throw from South Pier and there is a convenient store opposite , also for those with little ones there is a buggy park on the ground floor, stayed in quite a few in Blackpool over the years this is head and shoulders above them all

Can't fault it
